Sebastian and Issac exchanged a look. Though Gabriel was the one who had revealed it, it had been Sebastian's idea in the first place - the decision had been created with the sole purpose of protecting Issac's true identity. But seeing that there truly wasn't any harm in letting these guys know now, he let out a sigh.
"Gabriel and Issac aren't human," Sebastian admitted.
"You humans have a lot of names for us," Gabriel continued, perking up now that he was no longer arguing "Demons, spirits, djinn...I like demons best for the ominous foreshadowing, but Issac's a bigger fan of the djinn one."
Issac gave his awkward smile once more.
"By the way, you can call me Geist if we're telling the truth now," he continued on, gesturing at himself as he continued to rest his arm on Bo's shoulders. "And Issac over there is Engel."
"Oh wow!" Taber said, walking up to Gabriel - now Geist - and putting a hand on Gabriel's head, then moving the said hand back to about his own snout. "You're almost as tall as me! I'm not sure how you did that - or what a djinni is - but that's pretty neat. Also, since your name is Geist, I'd like to say hi, Geist! I'm still Taber, because I didn't have a secret identity or anything. Which I totally should've, but that doesn't feel very honest. Not that I'm saying you're bad or anything, it's a totally okay decision." Taber laughed nervously and quickly focused on Isaac. "And hi, Engel! If you aren't human, what are you?"

"It's a little complicated," Engel admitted, looking over at Geist as he pulled away from Bo. "I'm a djinni, too. I've just been bound to a robotic body."
"Neat!" said Taber, nodding and pretending to know what the word "robotic" meant. He guessed it was something obvious, and he was just oblivious as usual. "Can you grow too?"

Engel stifled a laugh, which immediately made Geist's heart melt - he loved hearing the sound of his laughter. "Not right now. When I'm like this, I can't change my form."
"Aww," said Taber, "I'm the same way. I have a bunch of forms, but they're all stuck with their own heights. I'd love to be as tall as I want to be whenever I want!"

Issac laughed a little more at the comment, a beautiful, warm sound that made both Geist and Sebastian smile. Sebastian was grateful that the people present were taking this reveal so well. Spirits weren't exactly like normal people. They had abilities that humans could only dream of, and did things a bit...unconventionally. He looked down at his arms, the prosthetics hidden underneath his sleeves. He was lucky that Geist had only decided to burn him and not eat him-
"Oh, God," he said. His face scrunched up into a look of horror and disgust. He desperately hoped that he was wrong, but he was starting to suspect that he was very much on the right track. "I don't think we're going to find a body."
"Oh?" Taber said, turning to face Sebastian. "How come?"

"I think whoever - or whatever - was here ate the victim," he said, his voice queasy. "That's why we can find the smell and the blood and not the body. It wouldn't be the first time we encountered something like that..."
He shook his head. "I've never...I've never run into them before."
Nearby, Engel turned his back to the conversation. It was clear that he was trying to avoid the topic, and he was doing a good job of it. He even went as far as bending down to tie his shoe, despite the shoelace only becoming untied once he went to tie it.
Geist, on other hand, was unsurprisingly a bit more calmer with the current situation. He looked over at Bo, then at Sebastian, then back at Bo. "Well," he started, "Sebastian might not have run into any cannibals, but it's kind of a common practice among Engel and I's kind to eat the summoners that mess things up. It gets us back home faster, and they tend to be a******* anyways, so it's a win-win for us and the humans that know them."
"Gross," Taber said, sticking out a tongue. Wait. That was probably mean. "But I guess if they were asking for it?" Taber continued. He tilted his head in Geist's direction. "Then it's kinda okay?"

Geist nodded and made a dismissive gesture with a wave of his hand. "Yeah, definitely. I'm not sure if I've really gotten it across, but people only summon us if they want us to their dirty work. Except Sebastian. Well, technically Sebastian as well, but he's at least a little polite when it comes to the requests."
"How come they don't see it coming?" Taber said. "Even if you're polite and all, you'd think they'd know better."
