Willowpaw
"O-Okay." She said, frightened and horrified but she followed behind Clovertail until she remmebered: Stripepaw was out hunting! She raced faster than Clobertail and faster than the wind as she followed the scent of dog

Sparrowpelt of ThunderClan

"What is going on?" muttered Sparrowpelt as he watched more cats racing to and fro, obviously afraid, some wounded. He rushed over to the WindClan medicine cat.

"Clovetail! What's happening? Is there anything I can do to help?"

Clovetail
"Dogs!" she panted, angling her tail in the direction of Nettlepaw's fear scent, "There's no time to organize a patrol!" She took off frunning, Willowpaw following close behind.

"Come if you want!"

Willowpaw
She followed closely behind the larger cat, thinking to herself that this must be the craziest day a new apprentice has ever had!

Stripepaw
He was with the dogs, battling tooth and claw to keep them away from his injured mentor. He didn't know if Nightgaze was still alive but he had to protect him if he was. The dogs growled and barked and he slashed his claws over one of their eyes but he was too small and the dogs easily kicked him aside, trying to get to Nightgaze but Stripepaw fought like all of Starclan and it wasn't enough. He killed the last dog with his final breath, falling to the ground and landing in a pool of his own blood, he died.

Sleekthorn

Sleekthorn ran around, slashing the dogs' faces with his claws. His eyes focused on the ThunderClan cats and he growled in thankfulness. "Thank god we have help."

Sleekthorn leaped onto one of the dogs backs, growling low. He clenched his jaw on the dogs ear and didnt let go. Once the dog yelped, he flung his head around, flinging Sleekthorn through the air and into the rocks.

Nightgaze

Nightgaze gulped, breathing even more shallow. Everything was blurry and he didn't know what was going on. He heard the low growls of both cats and dogs.

Then, there was nothing.

Dagger

Dagger was a broad, tan pitbull who wasn't afraid to stomp his foot. He was a stray, but still managed to stay strong within the wild. His ways were that of a wolf's.

Dagger lunged at Clovetail, missing, yet trampling over Willowpaw. He grinned and barred his teeth, his ear ripped from Sleekthorn's attack. Dagger cornered Willowpaw, growling low.

"Hello, little one."

Stripepaw
His body lay, unmoving as it was trampled over by the dogs

Willowpaw
"H-Hello" Her fur fluffed up and she looked twice as big as her size but that still wasn't very big. Her eyes where huge with terror as the dog's rank breath washer over her. She wondered if she should strike at the dog but she waited, not daring to look at Clovertail.

Dagger

Dagger growled low once more and inched closer to the small apprentice. "What's your name?" he purred like a cat, mimicking them.

Willowpaw
Willowpaw stared at this dog's large eyes and she finally got ahold of her fear, "I'm Willowpaw, apprentice of Wind Clan. Why did you come here?" She saw the supprise in the dogs eyes and added, "We need your help if you would be willing. And if you helped, I'm sure we would be able to catch you a juicy rabbit."

Dagger

Dagger looked at the apprentice and tilted his head. He felt a sudden rush of sadness. Nobody ever wanted his help. He was useless to everyone. "H-Help?" he stammered.

Willowpaw

"Yeah!" Willowpaw said, her voice determined, "There is a sabage dog pack on our territory and they are trying to kill all of my friends and family. We aren't quite strong enough to to defeat them but I know that a big, tough dog like you could take them on easily!"

Dagger

Dagger looked at the small kitten and he found it in him to unbare his teeth, relaxing. "I'll help you round up your friends. Let's go."

Dagger growled, backing up, releasing the kitten. He turned around and growled louder. He lunged toward the two cats who lie in the middle. He picked the kitten and male up and moved them to the sidelines. He jumped toward the other dogs and bared his teeth. "Leave."

Hawksong of ThunderClan

For her first time visiting WindClan, Hawksong was a little disappointed. Here she and Sparrowpelt were, finally at the Clan's camp, and immediately they were asked to help fight off dogs. She didn't mind too much, but she knew Rainstorm would be displeased when they returned.

How could they ensure ThunderClan's safety from the rogue if they were busy fighting off dogs?

Willowpaw

She watched her new friend in excitement but then saw him move Stripepaw and her world seemed to crumble. When Dagger put her brother down she ran over, licking his pelt. "Stripepaw!"
She screamed his name over and over but she knew that he was gone, he's poet was already losing warmth.

Dog Pack Leader
He looked at Dagger and smiled in a cruel way, "Why should we leave? After all, it's just one of you against four of us!" He eyed Dagger's strength and size and realized that this was not a dog to mess with but all the same, he would not back down.

Dagger

Dagger lashed his tail, flicking his ripped ears. "Leave," he growled. "Or I'll make you."

Dog Pack Leader

"Fine, fine ya old mutt!" He growled and then he snapped his teeth at Dagger, "But be warned mutt, we will be back!"
With that, the dog pack walked away, out of Clan territory.
