Mark Stone

"This is not just a safe haven. This is not some place where you can get some sort of shelter from whatever it is you're facing. This is not somewhere you can get free food." I say. "If you stay here, you become part of a team. A team where you can use your talents while confusing the hell out of the cops. I assume you are all here for all of those reasons. Just don't think you can slip out of the part about becoming a team. Because if this doesn't work, I can always get another lot of convicts. I'll be fine. Will you?"
"Ahh, shit", I say. Everyone looks at me funny. I pull my rucksack round and place the wicked knife Tully gave me inside, then pull out an envelope. I rustle through it, knowing that everyone's getting more impatient. I check a photo, then flick it over to the guy called Isaac. He looks at it in shock.
"If we're all going to be allies know, I'd best give up my dirt huh?" I explain. I pull more photos out and pas them to their subject. "Isaac, that's you burning a wheelie bin, Ailsa that's you at an arms deal. Shanaya, that's you stealing from a guys house. Katie, these are you stealing from a house, a school, another house, a restaurant, another house-"
"Hey!" she cries, "Why are there so many of me?"
"You're easy to follow. You also don't cover your tracks very well. Tully...all I've got of you is when you took a piss in public."
"I already got caught for that." He rumbles.
"Oh, I must be behind on my research. Uhh, I think that's all I have. Sorry Vixen, Hunter, I hadn't even heard of you two."
By now, everyone looked thoroughly suspicious and a little angry. I hurriedly explain, "Name's Mark Stone. Don't worry if you haven't heard of me, because really I'm not even a criminal. I'm a freelance photographer who somehow ends up with incriminating evidence of high up public figures. When said people find out, they get very keen to get this evidence back and often pay money, or sometimes information, which I then sell on. The price on my head is currently zilch, which is how I want it. If no-one knows I'm a criminal, then no-one is looking for me."
I gaze round the gathered 'super' criminals, who all look mightily pissed off. I check through the envelope again.
"I haven't missed anyone, have I?"
I hae but ane gallant son, and if he were to follow me in my footsteps, how proud I shall be.

Time isn't a straight line. It's a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff

Mark hands out the photos with clear pleasure on his face. I watch him carefully as he reaches in the bag, wondering what else he might have in there. Katie seems to be picking a fight when she is handed hers, standing in ready position.

"Let's just calm down." I sigh. "The photos were taken in the past. He's giving them up. Let's just accept it and move on."

I decide to stay in the shadows unnoticed, everyone seemed to be wrapped up in task of trying to beat the other person at what kind of crime they committed. Personally I preferred to keep what I've done a mystery, to be underestimated till the last minute. But if I was going to have to work with these people I should at least get to know them. Yet I stayed in the shadows. No one came up to me and that's just the way I liked it. Hopefully Brent was gonna tell us what kind of "Team" we were.

Tully
Meredith cringed, his ears stinging.
"Can someone please put the baby in her crib? I don't want to have to listen to her crying for some milk when I'm going to bed." The girl shot Tully a vicious stare for his comment. Meredith tilted his head to the side and grinned menacingly, laying his kukri across his lap.

Shanaya Dranda

I shot him my most dangerous look.
"Watch ya self or you won't live to see tomorrow." I said, in my most scary voice.
"Shut it Kiddo or you won't see another day." Tully replied.
I grabbed my knife from my bra again and then my other knife from my sock. I was ready to kill him then and there. He would be my first kill.

Brent

Shanaya and Tully make way to start another fight and I sigh, running a hand through my hair.

"Both of you, please calm down." I say. "Allies, remember? We're all allies."

I turn to Shanaya.

"Please put the weapons away."

"Whatever." Tully didn't seem to care.

Hunter

Even after Brent's little speech, Vixen and me glared at each other. After a second, we seemed to come to terms with each other. I must admit, she wasn't half bad. I nodded to her to show that we were on good terms and then focused on Brent. Mark then started to pull out of picture of people from his bag.

Everyone was handed a picture or two except for Vixen and me.

"Oh, I must be behind on my research. Uhh, I think that's all I have. Sorry Vixen, Hunter, I hadn't even heard of you two."

I feel a smirk appear on my face when he said that. Thank god he had not heard of me. Assassin's were never to be seen or heard of, that was a universal rule for us. I was also very glad about the fact that I was able to cover my tracks.

Suddenly, another fight was about to break out between the short one, who I think name was Shanaya, and the big one, who is named Tully. Brent then steps in and dispels the fight. Awww, that would have been interesting to watch too...

Alisa Janacek:

I studied the image Mark gave me. Hm, I was in full disguise that day, I must have underestimated him as it was impressive that he recognised me. I was enjoying watching the fights break out, it was like live entertainment around the clock. Occasionally I jumped in, but I was more interested in surveying the premises.

I found myself standing next to Mark, watching two girls about to lunge at each other.

"What's your deal anyway?" He turned to look at me, grinning a bit.

"What's yours." I replied nonchalantly, taking a sip of black coffee and dumping my full plate into a trash can.

"How old are you?" He asked, noting my school bag.

"Old enough." I replied. I didn't want to tell anyone that my 25th birthday had passed in July. But even if they did know... "I'm 25."

He raised his eyebrows and I shrugged in return. It wasn't like me to start a fight at all. Especially over small things that weren't even worth the effort.

"Don't tell anyone. It doesn't matter and no one needs to know." I pulled out a German Pistol and used my plaid skirt to polish it.

"I'm going to secure this warehouse." I said after a pause, picking up my bag and starting to map the area.

"Oh, I must be behind on my research. Uhh, I think that's all I have. Sorry Vixen, Hunter, I hadn't even heard of you two."
Vixen shook her head when she heard that.
"Honestly jackass, that's obvious. I'm an assassin and you're a fuckin' freelance photographer. You aren't going to hear of me unless you're Mafia, Yakuza or from a fucking crime syndicate. That's my job."
Mark looked a little put out for a second, and then continued.
In the meantime, she and Hunter seemed to have come to terms with each other.
"Your fighting skills aren't half bad," she said, smiling when Hunter nodded her acknowledgement. "You're pretty good yourself."
They continued to watch as the kid - Shanaya, picked a fight with Tully.
Vixen looked over at Brent. He looked tired out.
She could see another girl standing in the shadows. She hadn't joined in the melee earlier. Vixen walked upto her and held out her hand. "I'm Vixen, and you are"
The girl timidly shook her hand, and Vixen took that chance to pull her out of the shadows.
"We've got a ghost here," she said, leading the girl back to the rest of the group. The others stopped whatever they were doing and looked at the new girl, mostly suspiciously. Hunter smiled at Vixen's comment and Brent looked surprised.
"I don't remember letting you in," he said, confused. Isaac looked puzzled too.
"Who are you?"
"Married to music - 'nuff said."
"Freedom is everything to me."
