After Tully asked when we start. Brent turned to me.

"I'll leave that to you to decide." Brent said

For a second I was in shock. Did he just tell me to decide when we start? That was strange. I thought that he was the one with the plan. Sighing to myself, I felt everyone's eyes bore into me. Man, I hated the attention.

"Well," I started while looking at everyone. "In my opinion, I say we all rest for the rest of night. Most of us had a long day and could use it. After getting a good nights rest, we should go from there."

"Then again, this is just my opinion."
"Well, this is all well and good", I say, "but what exactly do we have to do? I'm not going to be much use for robbing a bank unless you want me to plan it out. I'd much rather go out and bring us in some petty, regular moolah."
Tully's mention of internet had brightened me up a bit. The laptop in my rucksack wasn't going to much use without it.
The Brent character threw me a winning smile, "Don't worry, we're not all going to be doing the same thing. Each person will be set something that matches with their strengths, not weaknesses."
I nod then lean back, mollified for the moment.

I looked around, realising that I had spaced out.
"Huh? What's going on? I spaced." I said.

Vixen

Vixen looked at Shanaya, irritated. "Listen kid. This isn't a slumber party. We're here to protect these whiny things we have, called lives. And if you aren't interested in saving yours, why don't you do everyone a favor and get the fuck outta here?"
She turned to Brent. "I think all of us agree that we need rest. We can relax for tonight, right? I'll go secure the perimeter of the building with Alisa. Coming, Hunter?"

Tully
After a good five minutes of searching Tully gave up, undid his fly and pissed out of a window. As he took the effort to try and hit a can of coke in the shadows Meredith considered his new companions. Brent seemed reliable, he had a good idea going with that disgusting freak Issac. Meredith was always taught not to take first impressions too seriously but rats made a hell of a first impression. Stone was amicable enough, like the dozens of other opportunists who showed up where bad things happened or secrets were hidden, he was merely more competent that the rest. Vixen and Hunter he liked, Tully knew their type, he had known people like them since his childhood. They were killers, plain and simple, they might even make for a decent challenge if it came to that. The rest were thieves, cowards in Tully's mind. When he killed he did so on equal ground with his target, it diminished it otherwise, lessening the thrill of the hunt. Thieves sneaked through your house at night and took all you had from under you. Tully's father had told his children "If you're going to fuck someone at least have the courtesy to let them know its happening."
Tully finished up and marched back, trying to find where he left his bag. He needed to kill, to feel the thrill. Hopefully Brent's job would let him indulge that small vice.

Vixen turned to Brent. "I think a of us agree that we need rest. We can relax for tonight, right? I'll go secure the perimeter of the building with Alisa. Coming, Hunter?"

"Yeah, I'm coming." I said as we started to head for the door. When we both exited, we looked at each other. "You take left and I take right?" I questioned.

She took off without another word. So, did I. I thought about my current situation. So far, I actually kind of liked it here. I had decided that I liked Brent, and that he could be trusted. After my fight with Vixen, I decided I like her too. Tully was quiet, and a lot like me, in the aspect that we kill people. The kid was annoying, but then again she was still a kid. Everyone else had yet to make some kind of impression.

Hunter announces that the group should rest up, which I have no argument with. I find my sleeping back and sit back, watching as the others find a place. Issac pulls his over to mine and sits down like I am, watching as well. I catch a whiff of his body odor and have to hold my breath, the scent threatening to sting my eyes as well.
"What did I say, Isaac?" I ask. "Five feet."
He moves his bag over five more feet and lays down, looking at the ceiling. I shake my head and decide to stay awake a little longer, waiting for everyone else to settle in before I dare close my own eyes.

After checking the perimeter, I make my way back inside. Glancing around I noticed that everyone has started to try and find a place to rest. Most of the spots on the warehouse floor were taken. Then I noticed an empty spot near the back wall.

Grabbing a blanket and pillow, I make my way over. I settled down with my back to the wall and turn so I am facing everyone. I had also noticed that Vixen made her way in the building a while ago and was trying to find a spot. I saw Chol claiming a spot when I walked. Settling down, I waited. I was determined not to fall asleep before everyone else was asleep, or at least comfortable.

Vixen

"You take left and I take right?" Hunter questioned.
Vixen turned and headed the opposite way without a word. She turned a corner and found some garbage bins stacked kamikaze style. Using them as footholds, she climbed and made her way to the roof.

The warehouse commanded a clear view of the area around it. As she chechecked each side carefully, she thought of her to-be 'teammates'. Brent and Isaac were both likeable, and Tully was alright. Mark annoyed her a bit, but she shook her head and let it go. Shanaya bugged her, and it irritated her how childish she was behaving - for someone who was supposedly the best thief of her generation. Alisa and Hunter she liked. Both had a no-nonsense attitude and Hunter wasn't easy to fool. May e I judged her too quickly during that last mission. She reseved her opinion on the others, thogh she decided she liked Chlo too. Kid's practically invisible when she tries.
Nothing looked out of place, so Vixen hopped off the roof, circled back to the main door, and went in.
Inside, everyone was looking for a place to get comfortable in. Vixen watched as Isaac dragged a bag over to Brent and Hunter took up a corner. Shanaya was still standing in the same spot, looking like she was trying to swallow something rather large. And paniful.
Vixen grimaced, and dragged her own sleeping bag from her knapsack. She dragged it over to where Hunter was determinedly trying to keep her eyes open. "Can I sleep here?" she asked. Hunter nodded tiredly. A moment later, Alisa joined them. "You planning to stay up all night?" she asked Hunter.

I pulled my rucksack closer, checking my laptop was still safely tucked inside. I shoved my bag over to the wall, surveyed the room, then curled up. I'm a heavy sleeper and have no trouble nodding off no matter where I am. Some of the others look like they're planning on staying up all night. Screw that, I think. Within seconds, I'm away in the land of nod.

I walked over to the window and looked back at everyone. I was planning to leave tomorrow night so I had to find a way out. NOW!
"What are you doing Shanaya?" Dalias asked.
"None of ya buisness." I replied, nastily.

"You planning to stay up all night?" Alisa asked me.

"No," I say while yawning slightly. "Eventually I fall asleep."

Not long after that everyone was pretty much settled. Issac and Brent slept near each other. Everyone else just seemed to space out pretty evenly. You could kind of tell just by looking at the scene who was okay with who. It was kind of amusing in a way.

Seeing a movement in the shadows near the windows, I focused on it. After a second I realized that it was just the kid. Sighing to myself, I felt my eyes close and body relax, drifting away into a dreamless sleep.

Morning comes quickly and I make sure I'm one of the first up. I slip past the others and head up to the food storage room, packing away what we could take with and leaving out what to use for breakfast.
I find some batter and decide that pancakes would be good enough, looking around for chocolate chips as well. Finding nothing to put in them, I sigh and sit before the portable stove. I turn it on and begin to prepare the food, hearing something going on downstairs.
