I spoke, "You-" I stopped talking after that. My voice cracking. "J-Just, go back downstairs. Hang out with Mitch." I said wiping my tears. I opened the door and lay down on my bed with my hand on my forehead.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
Jace hesitates before leaving, hovering around the door. He decides against going back downstairs and walks back inside the room, finding Rayah on her bed.
"C-can you just tell me what's wrong?" He asks. "If it's Mitch and I... We do stuff like this all the time."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
"Jace, please, just go downstairs." I said looking angrily in the mirror. "But If you must know it's because...when it's about me I just, don't like it." He walked towards me and cups my chin, having me look up at him.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I opened the door. "I know you can help. It's just I'm overwhelmed and confused. I feel bad for Mitch. He doesn't look at me that way. I'm too young for him anyway. Just please, if he looks at me that way then so what?" I said shrugging. "I bet there's gonna be times when girls look at you like that, I won't do anything. But if they make a move then It gets dirty." I said smiling. "I'm fine." I walked back downstairs and Mitch smiled, "Hey, you okay?" I smiled and nodded. I sat down next to him and he just kept his eyes on me. I glanced at him. "Rayah?" Mitch says my name and I turn to him. He looked at me in the eyes and he leaned in when I slapped him. "What are you doing?!" I asked angrily getting off the seat. He gets off his seat and holds his jaw, "I'm sorry I just couldn't help it." He said Holding his cheek. I slapped him again, "Now do you wanna kiss me? No, I didn't think so."
I took a seat away from Mitch, and sat next to Jace and I wraped my arms around him.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
Jace ignores what Mitch tried to do, considering what Rayah did to him enough of a punishment. She wraps her arms around him and he smiles, looking back at her.
"Good one, bad ass." He whispers so only she can hear
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
"I'm daughter of aphrodite, Have five sisters, like the color blue, I'm 5'4" and um...I'm sixteen. That's mostly it." I smiled and took a sip of my drink.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
I shook my head, "I have a twin but she's all prissy," I said smiling. "And I have an older sister thats 18, and All the other ones are younger then 10."
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
Words are pale shadows of forgotten names. As names have power, words have power. Words can light fires in the minds of men. Words can wring tears from the hardest hearts. — Patrick Rothfuss, The Name of the Wind
