Crap, I curss to Darren.

He growls. I told you you were pushing it.

And now Elise and Skylar are in it, I mutter to myself.

"Don't move," the bat-boy whispers behind me. I freeze, or make it look like I'm frozen. With a twitch of my finger, I bring a rope of water up to his feet. I pull and the water slashes at the man. He curses and steps back, drawing whatever he had in his hand across my neck. I pull out of his arms and turn around to face him. I feel a drop of blood fall from my neck to my arm. It hurts.

The man stands up straight again. I look down to his legs and don't see any blood.

Well, that didn't work like we thought, Darren says.

No really? I retort sarcastically. Where are you?

"Right here!" Darren shouts out loud before he jumps beside me.

I smile, but don't move my eyes from my enemy. He looks exausted, but I know he still has a fight in him. I can see Skylar and Elise behind him, both ready to fight. Tess, Jared, and Tige are close by as well.

What do we do? Darren asks.

I don't know, I don't know! Out of ideas, and out of escapes. We stare eachother down.

"Where's your..." I get cut off before the very person I was just talking about attacks me from behind. I hear a foot hit the ground behind me. Skylar jumps forward and grabs me, throwing me to the the ground and out of the way, but Darren is too slow. I feel a gash in my side, but I know I'm not the one hurt. Darren's body flies away from me, limp.

"Are you okay?" SKylar demands, worried.

"Darren!" I shout, ignoring Skylar.

I'm fine, he protests, but he still doesn't move.

I stand up and glare at the two rogues. The girl laughs, although I still can't see her, I know that she is enjoying herself. Surprising since she just jumped in between a group of rogues that now want to kill her.

"I'll take that as a no to the talking then," the girl threatens.

(I have no idea what is going to happen next)

(I know this is out of context with our savage battle raging but I just don't want to hog all of Tige and Seena's moments. :D)

Rayden Thorn:

We had made it across the border safely! I had to say I was surprised that we had such an easy time of it, it wasn't normal to get out of the country free- not that I was complaining mind you! I'll take whatever I can get and be grateful for it.

We had arrived at Hently Prichards boarding house around midday along with the usual noontime lunch crowd. Elisabeth with her brood were welcomed with open arms by Hently and his wife Mara, and spent the rest of the day settling in to their new home.

I as usual stayed as short a time as I could. The longer I was in one place the easier it was for the government border troops to locate me. Mara as was her custom with me, let me raid the boarding house's kitchen and I filled my pack with foods I knew would keep.

As I was doing this, Hently came in, his weathered old faced seemingly more lines than it had been the last time. He sat heavily on one of the tall stools ranged round the massive oaken table in the middle of the kitchen and held his bone pipe out to me.

“Give us a light? there's a good lad.” I grinned, this old man was a slave to tobacco and was seemingly content to be ever so. I held my index finger slightly above the bowl until a thin curl of smoke slowly wafted up, Hently took five or six heavy drafts on the pipe before settling down, a benevolent smile resolving some of the care lines etched in his brown face.

“You know that will kill you some day? Smoking like that.” I said grinning, this was an old game we played every time I stopped in. He growled like some bear that was not ready to wake from its winter sleep and mumbled something about, “rascally upstarts”.

I had to smile, Henlty was the closest thing I had to a father since I lost my own, and I had to admit it, I love the old couple. Hently sighed and placed a crumple newspaper on the table in front of him.

“Did ye see this lad? Do thee know of it?” he pushed it over to me as I shoved more dried meat into a small waxed paper packet. It was a conman enough looking newspaper except it was not from this county, but from Aria.

“How did you get your hands on a weeks old newspaper?” I asked. He frowned as he tapped with one sausage-like finger on a story.

“Did thee not see this? How I got it matters not, the danger for you is growing my friend. Here read!” Dante flew down from the rafters and landing on my shoulder we began to read the article.
I swore, Hently nodded.

“ I quite agree with thee. This is not a good thing. Doll bounty hunters are bad enough but a rouge hunting rouges is a very terrible thing. This man, I have heard of him from other travelers. He has no scruples, he will kill anything-any rouge for a price. Your government is getting disparate my friend.” I rubbed my throbbing temples.

“This is not good Hently. This is not good at all. First, there is a crazed rouge running about, slaughtering dolls left and right, whole villages have been wiped clear! He or she leave no survivors, and now we have a rouge bounty hunter killing his own kind.” I sat heavily across from him and lay my head in my hands.

“Is what I do all in vain Hently?” I gesture vaguely. “ Are we rouges all meant to just disappear from this earth that loathes us?” Dante flew down from the rafters and pecked me hard on my scalp.

“No!” he squawked. “It is not all in vain, have you forgotten that promise you made to Seena? Have forgotten the last thing she said?!” that cursed bird knew right where to hit the sore spots. I remembered my promise with a stinging heart.

“Never stop trying.” Seena had screamed that at me as she and our parents were dragged away by the soldiers. She had not finished what she was going to say, but even so those last words became my mantra. they had kept me going no matter what as if they were magical. Never. Stop. Trying.

I shook myself out of my reverie, looked at Hently and gave a slight shrug.

“Well, it was getting too easy to sneak people out anyway. This all just adds a new level of excitement I guess.” He chuckled and shook his gray head. He followed me as I made my way to the house's door, and grasped my hand firmly in his bear-like paw.

“Thee are a crazy fool Rayden, but I still like thee very much. Take care my friend, may God and his angels keep thee till we meet again."

(I'm not sure how to enter Rayden at this point, with our core group, and would LOVE suggestions, PM me if you have any, I would be most grateful! :D )

Tess:

The idiot rogue slashed Darren. Everlee looked so angry, it was hard to comprehend. But I knew, that now she was mad and didn't want to talk with them. They had missed their chance.

A cloud cover came over us and snow began to fall. Everlee looked around, trying to find something, then gave a small smile. The snow was falling on the girl, giving away her position. "Skyler?"

"Yeah?" He said, sounding worried.

"I'm gonna need some room."

He took a few steps back and gave a very worried look staring at Everlee with complete shock. As soon as he was clear, the snow fell down harder, the wind picking up it's pace. Soon a blizard was blowing around the girl and Everlee.

Davnick turned to take a look at the sudden snowstorm that had broken free. Behind him, I saw Jared slowly put down the jacket and run back towards us.

The snow storm, as quickly as it had appeared, was gone, leaving Everlee standing over the girl's unconcious body. She stared at it for a moment then turned and stomped off towards Darren. I ran up to the girl to see that she was still breathing, which was surprising because Everlee looked really really, scary mad.

Elise:

I was shocked. I didn't Everlee would've done anything like this. I would've done that if those rogues hurt Myrtle. I grabbed Jared's arm and drag him with me towards Everlee. She was nursing Darren. Skylar put a hand on her shoulder.

"Is he okay?" he asked. Everlee nodded, while stroking Darren's fur. I didn't let go of Jared's arm.

"Everlee, I thought you would've hurt them... Verbally... Not physically," I said with a shocked tone. Everlee glared at me.

"Elise, now is not the time to be saying things like that," Skylar warned me. I roll my eyes and bend down. I put a hand on Everlee's other shoulder.

"And you did good," I praised her. I stood up and put ky head on Jared's shoulder.

(Hope this is okay!)

(oops! I forgot to post Seena! Sorry! I meant to post her before Everlee's.)

Seena

“Alright! Who's first?” I challenge, pushing my fear to the back of my mind. Everlee soon has the girl taken care of, but the man stands off just a few feet. I run over and face him.

You move, and you're dead, Tige tells me.

"You move, and you're dead," I threaten the man. He looks at me for a moment, trying to figure out what to do. Then, he smiles.

"You can't hurt me," he sneers.

"Where's you pet?" I point out, not really caring.

He glares back to me. "I don't need a pet to kill an ordinary doll."

"Then you haven't met me," I whisper. He takes whatever weapon he has and takes a step forward quickly, aiming for me. I block his blow with my right arm, amazed by the strength I now have. He walks past me, obviously exausted. He turns back around, but not before I get closer to him. I elbow him in the face with my right arm and push him to the ground. I pull my left hand with Tige's bear claws to his throat.

"You move, you're dead," I repeat.

(I thought Davnick was already pretty tired, and since Seena and Tige haven't trained together, they wouldn't be able to do anything "wow!" Later, we should have them practice together!)

"And you did good," Elise says. I nod my thanks but turn my attention back to Darren.

You okay? I ask slowly.

It'll take more then that to hurt me, Darren says in between gasps of breathe.

I look up from my friend and turn to Tess. "Can you bring me some water?" I ask. She nods and runs off quickly. I stare after her for a moment before I realize that Seena is on top of the man, using Tige in his weapons form. I had only watched the end of their battle, and she obviously had used more strength then she had earlier in the arena.

Tess runs up to me and hands me a small container of water. I take it and open it, pouring the water out onto Darren's side. I put my hand on the cut and close my eyes, concentraiting. I can feel the water working it's magic until the cut is gone. Darren wont be good as new, but at least there is no more blood coming out. I lean forward and rest my head on his neck, breathing in his fur.

Skylar kneels down beside me and puts a hand on my back. I sit back up and look at him in his eyes.

"Thank you," I say sincerely. He nods and leans forward, giving me a hug. I smile and wrap my arms around him.

Jared:

I Hoped that Darren would be alright as I walked over to the boy rogue.

"Who are you, and why were you fighting that girl?" I ask menacingly. I may be an idiot, but I can be very forceful when I want to be.

"you're friends with the doll murder, are you?" He said.

Doll murderer? I ask Amy.

She could be the so called "Invisible Rogue"! She said.

Possible. But don't jump around. We need to talk to them first.

"Tess, would you mind resraining her before she wakes up, please?" I asked. She nodded and put ice cuffs on the girls hands and feet, and then walked over to where I stood. i turned back to the man. "Who are you?" i took a step forward to try and make my point. It didn't really seem to work. I was scrawny compared to him, even if he had Tige at his throat.

Davnick

I lay on the ground, breathing heavily. I pushed myself to hard... I haven't fought like this since... I felt a sharp pain in my chest, but it didn't come from any of my physical wounds. Point is, I've gotten lax. If I survive this, I'm going to need some serious training.

The moron who was wearing my coat earlier walks over. "Who are you, and why were you fighting with the girl?" He asks. He's trying to intimidate me, and failing pretty badly.

I roll my eyes internally, and turn my blue-purple gaze on the idiot. "You're friends with the Doll murderer, are you?" He doesn't respond immeadetly, but turns to a girl with long black hair and says something to her. Then he turns back to me.

"Who are you?" He demands again.

"Davnick." I say smoothly. "Davnick Terrish." To my immence satisfaction, the man turns white as a sheet. Maybe he isn't as stupid as he looks.

"Y-you mean the one w-who.." He stutters.

"Yea. That one." I say, grinning maliciously.

The man draws a breath, and addresses the girl pinning me to the ground. "Keep a close eye on him Seena. I need to... go talk to Everlee. Whatever you do, don't let him go, and don't let him get any kind of weapon. He might cause us more trouble than the invisible girl."

"Sure, Jared."

With that, he fled. Well, maybe not fled exactly. Just walked away. Very quickly.

I chuckle softly and gaze up at the girl sitting on my chest. She was one of the three who stood in front of my ice block, I was pretty sure. Her green eyes glittered like gems, and she had hair the color of roasted wheat before you ground it into flour. She would look really nice, if she weren't glaring at me. Focus you idiot. You don't get to think about pretty girls. They tend to die around you, remember?

I try to get her off balance by giving her my best smile. "Hi there." I say, trying to sound cheerful and carefree. It actually comes out hoarse and cracked. Her reaction is still what I expect. She jumps a little, and her eyes widen. But she quickly regains her composure, and presses her odd, bladed weapon harder to my throat. She doesn't speak, so I try again.

"So what's your name?" I say. It comes out smoother this time.

She glares, but responds. "Seena. " she says shortly.

I take a moment to consider that she might be lying, but decide she's telling the truth. The moron, Jared, said her name earlier. I search my memory so I can put her face and name together. "Seena... Seena.... Seena Hearthlow?" I ask.

She gives me an odd look. "Uh, no." Again, she seems to be responding as little as possible.

"You aren't a Rogue are you? I don't think I've ever seen your face on a wanted poster. I sense Pet energy from you, but no power of your own."

She gives me a nasty smile that she only half means. "I'll show you power." She says softly.

Pain flares through my stomach and across my back. Its so unexpected, I can't keep from crying out. At first I think Seena is doing it, but she looks just as shocked as I am. Its the wounds I've taken. I realize. I'm so weak, my body is reversing the healing it did earlier, so I have enough energy to keep breathing and thinking. The gash I got from Reva on my arm re-opens. The world is getting fuzzy. The last thing I see is Seena turning her head in a panic.

Somebody shouts, "Everlee!!

Everlee

Jared runs over. He looks paniced.

"What's wrong now?" I ask calmly without looking up from Darren.

"It's Davnick," he says. My head shoots up and I look at Jared. "Davnick Terrish."

"It... it can't be..." I think aloud. "Are you sure?"

Jared nods, but doesn't answer.

"Everlee!" Seena shouts, almost frantic.

You've got to be kidding me! Darren mutters. What else could possibly go wrong?

I'll be right back, I say as I stand up. I start to walk over to Seena, but Jared stops me.

"It's Davnick," he emphasizes. "He's going to kill us if we don't kill him first."

I push pass him and run over to Seena. "He's in pain," she explains quickly. "And there's more blood."

I kneel down next to the unconcious bat-boy. I pull out some of the extra water and begin to pour it onto Davnick.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Tess jumps forward.

"Healing him, what else?" I ask.

"Okay, I hate Jared, but I'm going to have to agree with him here. He will kill us!" Tess says, trying to grab the water from my hands. She snatches the bottle, but I just pull the water out and force it down onto Davnick's wounds. His body flexes, but relaxes after a moment.

"I wont heal him enough to hurt us right away, how bout that?" I ask, getting impatient.

You know he'll kill us when he heals completely, right? Darren warns.

"I know!" I shout out loud. "But I'm not going to leave him to die when I can help." The group is quiet while I finish healing.

Reva

I circled them, waiting for an opening. THe group worked together remarkably well, they were clearly all bonded together in some way or another. Bonded together and weak together.
"You want an answer?" I hissed, slipping behind the one girl- Elise she had been called- and slipped my dagger around her throat. "How does it feel to be fighting someone you can't see? Scary isn't it?"
"I'm not afraid of you."
I chuckled. "I don't completely believe you, but I respect that. An answer you want?" I thought for a moment, feeling myself get weaker by the second. Maybe Darsor was right, that spell took more out of me than I had to give. "I fought him because-" I stiffened as a rush ran over me. A rush that meant only one thing, my magic was gone.
Darsor fell from my hands and shifted from his weapon form to tiger, to cub. He was nothing but a regular tiger.
No. No!I thought desperately, backing away from Elise and her allies. I hadn't felt that weak since Old Kaston was killed, I hadn't been helpless since then. I hated it with every fiber of my being. "No! Darsor, I'm so sorry." I breathed and my world went black as the only thing I could think of was my failed protection of my best and only friend.

Well, my last post made me feel like a complete and utter idiot, so can we forget that ever happened? That would be great.

Reva

I woke up all at once, but held my body still and kept my breathing slow. I woke up in time to hear Davnick's name repeated, and the panic as he blacked out. Heal him? That was the most ridiculous idea I had ever heard. He was a blood traitor that sold off his own kind to the dolls for testing. Even I was a better person to heal, and I had killed thousands. I suddenly remembered hurting the wolf, and instantly regretted it. That was not supposed to happen. He was never supposed to be hurt, I hadn't even been planning on really hurting the girl. I just wanted to knock them all out one by one until none of them were threats anymore. I didn't kill my own unless they were blood traitors, and this group clearly wasn't.
Darsor I called out, not daring to move my body in case they noticed.
Reva. Are you alright?
Never been better old friend.
It has been long since you called me that.
It has been long since I noticed your loyalty and love.
I replied, and felt a twinge of regret. As I laid there I didn't wish for a way to slip away, or the slim chance that I may escape with my life, or that they would reward me for destroying so many dolls. I wished for the days when I didn't feel weak calling out for help from my only friend. I wished that he had been less loyal and had left me to only use him in weapon form when he was but a tool at the time when I needed him most. That would have been more fair.
Stop. You are not so blind to me now. So escape. Darsor commanded me and I could feel his weak presence near me.
I will not run.
Don't be so stubborn. Listen to me and run while you can.
No.
Why?
That was a pet. I have dealt a killing blow to a pet, not a doll.
Yes.
How does that protect my people from Dolls? It makes me a tyrannt.
Yes.
We have to help him.

Darsor sighed and released a soft growl. Now is not the time for you to have grown mercy.
I know, but near death changes people.
You will be back to normal in a moment.
Darsor.
Wait until you are and we can escape.
Darsor, please.

He sighed once more. The wolf is no longer bleeding, that will make the healing easier. Do you remember how it is done?
Yes.
I will distract them then.
Thank you.
I replied, and against everything that was in my nature, I stood and stumbled over to the creature. My invisibility fell away of its own accord as i fell to my knees over the beast. "What light has ripped, now undo. The mistake was mine, the power goes to you." I murmured softly and felt Darsor leap over the heads of the rogues and show himself, snarling.
The wolf glowed with an inner light as the last dregs of my magic drained away, and his wound healed over. A cry came from behind me as Darsor was taken down and I cried out in pain as well.
"Oi! What are you doing?!" Someone cried and I felt their urgency. They needed to stop me from killing their friend, their pet.
Darsor.
Run Re. He whispered back and I felt jaws on his neck, on mine too. They were killing him.
Im sorry. In the end, I failed you. I whispered and my world went black

Tige:

Suddenly the Female rouges Pet manifested itself for the first time as a huge Tiger! HE jumped over our heads with a deafening snarl, yet I could sense no ill will from him. In fact he seemed on the verge of death. I leapt from Seena's grasp and shifted forms to bear. On my hind legs I caught the big cat by his neck and swung him to the ground- albeit a little harder than I had meant to. He hit the ground with a yowl of pain and his rouge cried out feebly and slumped over next to Darren, she had healed the wolf!?

I released the tiger and looked at him closely, his chest rose and fell shallowly but regular.

“Get up cat.” I said flatly staring into his glittering glazed eye. Elise stood next to me chewing her lip.

“Is it dead?” she asked, Jared had walked over as well and stared down at the pet, he whistled.

“Boy! It sure is huge.” I felt slightly angered at my charges.

“The tiger is not an it.” I growled. “The tiger is a him! Get up boy!” I prodded him with my paw, he blinked slowly and his eye seemed less glazed.

This tiger was willing to sacrifice himself to save his rouge, he was a weapon worthy of bearing the name Pet. He was a far more honorable opponent than his wielder and I would not just let him die.

I nudged him with my head.

“Weapon, on your feet, do not be brought down by a group of mere children. You are not so weak as that.” he didn't respond. I turned to Everlee.

"Everlee, I need you to use your light abilities. I know your weakened because of Darren but I only need a slight bit." As I spoke I placed my paws on the ground and a tall faceted pinnacle of ice grew to man height. this was my strongest type of ice, it took even fire an hour to melt just one of these pinnacles.

"Attack here." I said tapping one of the many facets.

"Alright..." she said hesitantly and a small beam of light shot out of her hands at the ice.

Once it had hit, it disappeared for a moment before gently beaming out the other side, onto the tiger. It radiated around him for a moment and he shifted back to his weapon form. I turned to our group.

"He is not our enemy anymore, he did not deserve to die. He will not be able to manifest any of his powers for a time but he will live, and so will his rouge."

As if hearing me the girl groaned loudly and rolled to her side, curling up like a infant.

(I hope this works, If it is OCC or not true to your characters I will gladly edit. Bee- I know Reeva isn't evil or bad but Tige doesn't know this. :D)

Tess:

I walked up to Davnick and touched his hands. they froze over. It still didn't make me feel better, so i did it two more times. nope, not helping. I had heard of this guy, and he only meant trouble. But, of course, Everlee would never leave someone to die, and I would help her as much as possible, so, I guess he lived.
I walked over to the girl rogue and did the same thing. I had heard of her too, or at least, there was a chance she was the one I had heard about. Th Invisible rogue that slaughtered Dolls mercilessly, driving thousands from their homes. I don't like Dolls, but they still can feel pain. I stared down at her for a moment, not sure what to think of her, and then walked back to Everlee and the others.
"Do her Pet, too." Jared said. I hate it when he bosses me around! But, none the less, it was a good idea, so I did it.
"Okay, now what?" i asked to no one in particular.

Elise:

"Well, since the sun is going down faster than I thought, we set up camp here," I suggested. I turn around and see the sun setting already. Time really flew by today.

Do you really want to stick around with these rogues? Myrtle asked in my head. I bite my lip and turn my head towards Myrtle.

Don't know, I'm still confused about how bad they are, I replied. I approach Everlee.

"Hey, Everlee. I don't get it. What's so bad about them?" I ask, with a clueless look. Tess's eyebrow shoots up, Jared's jaw drops, and Everlee looks at me with a confused face.

"You don't know about them?" she asked. Skylar approached us.

"Now that I think about it, me and Elise have no idea who they are and how they are 'so bad'," he said the "so bad" part with air quotes.

(Hope this is okay!)
