Seena
The village was desolate. More then desolate. It was as if everyone had just disappeared. Almost everything was in it's natural place, nothing looked as if it had been moved. We met Tess at the entrance.
"Completely empty," she said quickly. Everlee nodded. I looked down at her and Skylar's hands; linked. I tried to surpress a smile as Tess led us to a hut she had found for us. We walked through the streets alone. Doors hung wide open, and occasionally, I got a glimpse of a blood stain inside the building. I leaned further down on Tige's back, grateful for his comfort. We reached an old farmhouse with animals still running around in the pasture behind the house. I slid down from Tige's back.
"Thank you," I whisper in his ear. He nodded in response. Everlee and Skylar walked into the building, and soon the rest of us follow.
Everlee looked from Skylar, to me, then back to Skylar really quickly. "I'm not certain," she begun. "But I think that the rogue will only hurt dolls, even if they are with rogues. I think, just to be safe, Skylar and Seena should sleep in the middle, and we should sleep around them." We nodded.
Tess, who had walked out of the house, came back in with a dead chicken. "Anybody hungry?" she asked.
