Tess:

Elise came over to walk beside Jared. I'm surprised he didn't blush. I rolled my eyes. The dorks got himself a girlfriend! I said to Nyx. She cackled at my thought.
You know he's helpful and nice. Why don't you like him?
Ahh, regular Nyx. Trying to set me up with a guy. Because he's an idiot, and because if anybody saw me with him, they would probably brand me an idiot too. Nyx nodded.
But wouldn't the only people who see you with him be Everlee and the others?
Listen, Nyx, I don't like Jared, and I never will. Plus, he seemes to be warming up to Elise. They had begun talking, and if I didn't know any better, I would have said that the seemed like a normal couple taking a walk. But, I guess that would be true only if they were dolls. My mind darkened over at the thought of them, and decided to change the subject.

(I don't think I said this before, but your character can progressively get stronger through out the story.)

Everlee

I felt bad about the rain after Jared had blocked it. I wasn't thinking about whether or not the others would be uncomfortable, in fact I enjoyed the rain falling on me. I had, somehow unconsciously, blocked Skylar from most of water. Now we walked side by side. I looked behind me quickly. Seena was still riding Tige. Tess walked behind them looking mildly irritated, and behind her were Jared and Elise. I smiled as I looked forward again. They made a cute couple. Darren walked a little ways in front of the group, keeping an eye out for any dolls that happened to be traveling in this weather. And the other pets flew above us.

Even through the clouds, we could tell when the sun had begun to set.

How far away are we from the closest village? I asked Darren. He ran ahead and it was a moment before he spoke again.

Not far, he said. Maybe another hour or two from where you are.

Okay, scout it out and make sure it really is abandoned. I ordered.

"We're about an hour or two from the nearest village," I spoke aloud.

Skylar:

I looked to where Everlee was looking. I see Elise and Jared walking side by side. Astonished and worried, I start to turn around, but decided not to. Ever since we met with Everlee and Tess, I've been with Everlee more than Elise. It's good to see her with someone other than me or Myrtle.

"We're about an hour or two from the nearest village," Everlee announced. I see her pet heading off ahead of us. Everlee looked behind her again. I finger my sword. It was cold from the rain, so I covered it with my hand. I look to Everlee, to see if she needs to be covered by the rain. She seems to be enjoying it, but I made an impulsive move. I quickly swing my arm around her shoulders and hold her close, resting my other hand on her head. Hopefully, this will cover her from the rain.

"Can't have you catching a cold now," I whispered.

(Hope this is okay!)

I skipped though the forest, happily torpedoing myself into the air lightly with the occasional, small tornado from my palms. I bounced up and over logs, small trees, and low branches, humming merrily to myself. You-sure are in...good mood-today. Poca stuttered mentally. I leaped up and on top of a large branch nearby. I then swung myself backwards, hooking my legs around the branch and hung there, upside-down, letting my long, silver hair dangle towards the ground. I held out my arm, palm up, allowing the little white fox to climb out of my sleeve and face me. She was barley big enough to fill my already small hand. "And why not? We have made great progress today! No run-ins with dolls, no fights, good weather, and we just ate an absolutely delicious mushroom soup made by the finest fox-cook of the country!"
Poca's little white face went pink as she blushed. You...mean-it? I...thought-mushrooms...were a little-old. She struggled to ask with her head tipped to the side, brown eyes wide, and ears pointed. Even from an upside-down point of view, she looked adorable! "No, they were just fine! Hey, you are starting to talk a little better now!" Poca's powers and mine were limmited, not yet fully mature. Poca had trouble speaking accual sentences in my head. She prefered to speak in feelings and single words because of this. Practicing. She gave a little sigh. Tired now. I nodded. "Enough practice for today, you can rest." The little white fox climbed back under my sleeve as I swung myself upright on the branch. Then resurfaced from under the back of my collar and mounted my head, peering down at me from above so quickly, if you blinked, you would have missed it. "So, now what is the plan?" I asked, already knowing what the answer would be, but still had hope for another outcome. Survive.

I sighed. That's all life had ever been about for years. Survival. Well, it wasn't always like this... I thought to myself. It used to be so much happier...filled with so much joy...so much love. My mind wandered to the beautiful face of a woman I would never forget. Why...did it have to happen? Why did I let it happen? I started to ask myself. A sudden sharp pain on my shoulder made me cry out, interupting my thoughts. "OWW! Poca?! That hurt!" Poca immerged from my sleeve then climbed into my lap. No sadness. No more. The thought had a bit of irritation in it, but also was filled with pain. Can't stand...when your-sad. It..hurts. She tried to finish. She looked up at me in an almost motherly look. I could see that she was worried about me. Then again, when aren't you worried about me? I half asked myself, and half asked Poca. Poca grunted and replied in a firm tone. Never. Then she added, Too many...sad thoughts. The thought was filled to the brim with nagging. She always nags me about stuff like this. You blame self...too-much. I looked away to try and hide my expression, also allowing some silver hair to shield my face. But...it was all my faul-"YOWCH!" I cried out holding my leg where Poca used to be. Not your-fault! Poca persisted, who was now sitting on my right shoulder. No more-sad...thoughts. she thought sharply. I bite-again! I held up my hands quickly. "Okay! Deal! Owww..." Then I smirked a little. It was funny that the very, very, small, adorable, almost puppy-like member in our little group of two was the leader, protector, and mother figure. Poca caught the thought. Hey! I'm...stronger-than...I-look. I giggled. "I know, Poca! I'm sorry, I didn't mean any offense! I was just thinking it is a little pathetic on my part...I am the bigger one after all. Shouldn't I be able to lead myself?" Poca sighed. She had a quick thought that was a mixture of feelings and words. It was hard to understand, but I made most of it out. Sheara. You only 13, you orphan, and...you small. Power small. How defend self? At so young? No sense to think that.
I could tell I wasn't going to win this argument. I almost never do, after all. "Hey, it is getting late. We should find shelter before it gets dark out. And we are kinda close to the village over there, dolls might find us if we don't leave soon." I tried to change the subject. Poca glared at me, narrowing her eyes into slits. She always hated when I did that. Fine. She growled. I sighed in relif; she let me get away this time. "Thanks." I said sincerely as I prepared to leap off the tree. No mention! She snapped before she disapeared into my sleeve. It was clear, she was going to be in a bad mood for a while.
Spoiler
She blames herself for her mother's death and feels pathetic and weak for not being able to defend her. (She was 5 when this happened.)

(I hope this is okay...sorry for any mistakes. If you have any corrections, feel free to let me know!)

Everlee

"Can't have you catching a cold now," Skylar whispered in my ear. I blushed as he put his arm around me and pulled me close. I stopped the rain from falling on us, completely drying myself from an excess rain. No matter how much I loved water, Skylar's warmth was better. We walked in silence for a moment, me blushing like none other, and Skylar awkwardly trying to think of something to say. (Somehow, the two of us had gotten a good distance ahead of the rest of the group, right out of earshot.) Finally, I focussed on something else.

"Don't look now, but I think we may have a couple in our group," I said with a laugh, talking about Elise and Jared. I had seen him look back earlier.

Skylar smiled. "Ya, I'm happy for Elise."

We were quiet again. Don't say it, Darren warned.

I ignored him. "Maybe two couples in our group..." I said in more of a question.

Told you not too, Darren growled. Too forward.

Oh, shut up! You don't even have a she wolf, you shouldn't be giving advice. I said. Darren chuckled but didn't speak gain. I waited for Skylar to answer...

Reva:

I felt the beginings of a rain storm fall on the back of my neck and lifted my head to the sky. The one thing light couldn't do was protect me from the rain, in fact it revealed my presence if someone was carefully watching. I released the magic swirling around me and stood there, staring at the corpse that had been so full of life only moments before. Always, always before I had simply hated the Dolls for hurting me. Only me. For taking away the man who raised me. For abandoning me. For speaking badly about me. For being rude to me. Never before had I come in contact with Dolls that did not hurt me, or someone I cared about, and never before had I ever wished death upon them before. Screw my pattern. The blood would run with the rain and there would be no time for the survivors to escape. Never again would I allow an innocent rogue to die before me. I vowed to myself that mine was no longer only a destiny of revenge, but of protection. For the first time, a tear of anger escaped my eye as I smashed my way through the window of the house. Starting there.

Tige:

I was not used to walking for so long on such rough roads, I was used too my cage at the zoo, I was weak from my captivity. Seena and I had fallen a slight distance behind the group when the winds changed, I smelled something that had no right to be in the air.

"Seena." I whispered, she leaned closer to my ears.

"What?" she whispers back. I look to see if anyone noticed my slowed pace.

"I smell blood." she looks around .

"Where?" I sniff again. my nose is good but not as good as some of the other pets in our group.

"Darren!" I shout. "Darren I need your nose."

(Darren is the wolf right?? that is his name right??)

Yes, Darren is Everlee's pet wolf

Everlee

Darren paused. I can smell it too, he muttered.

"Where is it coming from?" Tige asked.

I think it is coming from another village. There is no one here, at all, Darren said. I see a vision of a completely empty town. Dolls used to live there, but they were either killed or they left.

Is it safe? I asked Darren. He hesitates, but I can feel him nod.

"This village is safe," I said so everyone can hear. "Darren thinks the blood is coming from the next town over. But this one is abandoned."

(Bee wants Reva to be alone for alittle longer. Right Bee? Or is it okay if we all meet you now? Tell me when you want he to meet the rest of us Bee!)

Thank God. I panicked for a second after I hit submit. XD

Oh I didn't mean to force reeva into meeting anyone, I just thought it might be a good tension to have in the group right now, put them all on edge!
Sorry if that was confusing bee!

Skylar:

"Mybe two couples in our group..." Everlee suggested. I knew she was talking about me and her. I removed my arm over her shoulder and held her hand.

"I'd love that," I said. Not knowing what else to say, I scratche my head with my free hand and smiled. I could feel Elise's eyes on me, which sent chills down my back. I turn around to see Elise smirking.

"Darren! I need your nose!" I heard from behind us. Nose? For what? I started to smell the air.

"It smells weird, like, a burning factory or something," I said. Everlee bit her lip.

"Blood," she said.

"That's it!" I exclaimed.

Tess:

We were almost there. Only an hour or two, and we could rest. By then it was almost dark, and we had had a long day. I couldn't wait to rest. I wonder if they left some food? I thought. I hadn't eaten all day, plus we only had maybe a few days worth of bread and pickles. I hated bread and pickles. Really bad combo. Maybe Jared brought some food. I would wait, though.
At least we could go hunting. I ran to catch up to Everlee. "Hey, I'm going to head on and catch some dinner." She nodded as I ran ahead.
I suddenly realized that I had probably interrupted something. Oh well, I'll just have to deal with Everlee killing me later.I thought. I saw movement out of the corner of my eye throught the rain. Nyx. I could feel her nodding as she dropped to my hand and changed into weapons form, a long blue and black katana with a very intricatly designed hand gaurd. I ran after the herd of deer, singaling out a weak doe. I leaned down and froze the ground underneath me and the deer. it fell on the unexpected ice, and I quickly caught up to it. it was dead soon after.
This is great, but with all the extra people, I should probably get some more. I found a nice big buck and repeated what I had done with the doe.
You make it so unfair. Nyx sometimes forgot that she wasn't a real animal. I could feel her go sheepish as she changed back into animal form and landed on my shoulder. I made a piller of ice under the two deer and began to move it towards a tree to sit down out of the rain. It wasn't much help.
Remind me to tell Lee that she did too good of a job. I told Nyx. She ruffled her featers, spraying water all over me. Thanks. I said as sarcastically as i could in my head. She shrugged.
"I wonder what the others are doing?" I said out loud.
They're probably right outside of the town.
I nodded. "Then we'll head there." I got back up and began walking towards where the road was with my travelling ice table and the deer on top. I had strayed a little too far from the road for my liking, so I had probably missed the others pass by. "Let's see if we can catch up."

Tess:

i walked into the town. It was empty, with a faint stench of death in the air mixed in with the rain.Search around for anyone. Or some food! Nyx flew off. I watched her fly in circles around the town, down and through the buildings. She came back a few moments later and said that the town was empty. "Great. Let's go find a nice house we can stay in and drop off our stuff." I walked towards some of the bigger buildings, which were still just small huts. I found a nice one, with two stories and carpeted wood floors and everything, and, after dropping our stuff, I went back to the edge of the village to meet everyone else.

Jared:

I did a fake yawn and spread my arms out, resting one gently on Elise's shoulders, looking the other way as if I hadn't meant to. I looked back to see her blushing. Classic.
"Oh! There's the village!" She said. I looked on to see the sad peice of land.
Feeling disappointed that I didn't get to talk very long with her, I took my arm back. This just made me feel more akward. I had to start talking.
"So.... Where do you come from?" That was dumb.
"Oh, kind of all over I guess." She didn't seem like she wanted to talk with me, so We walked into the village in silence.
I felt like an idiot.
Completely.
