Boarding School

This storybook is about the joys of being a teenager. All of the characters will be students in a boarding school in Maine that hosts grades six through twelve. The school is right outsie of a medium sized town. I would like all of the characters to stay in the town or the school escept on holidays, when they are allowed to leave. The story starts out a week before school starts, when everyone is either arriving for their first time or returning from their summer vacation.

RULES

- No perfect characters, they doint exist in real life, they dont exist here.
- There can be relationships, but no sex scenes.
- There will be consequences for anything you do (robbing a store etc.)
- Im giving you mostly free reign here. You can do mostly whatever you like, but it is Pg-13. NO sex scenes, No explicit descriptions of drug use, etc. use your judgement. If you break any of these rules you will be kicked off of the story.
- Follow all rules previously set by YWS
- All posts must be more than one sentance.
- If you are inactive for an unreasonable amount of time, without alerting anyone, your character will either be removed, or handed over to another writer.

Note: I did not think this over very much, and I'm not sure if this will be very interesting considering that everyone is human, but I'd like to try it. If you can make a strong enough arguement to add vampires or whatever, then I'll change it. PM me, or post on the DT.

Name: Christian Blayne McBrian (Chris or Cutter)

Age: 17

Grade: 12

Gender: Female

Appearance: Here with bright green eyes

Personality: She's kind of a loner. She doesn't talk to anyone, even her own dorm mate and most people at her school are scared of her, especially some of the staff. She doesn't talk to anybody and most people think she's mute, but if they got to know her she'll never shut up.

History: Mom got tired of her always out past cerfew so she sent her away at age fourteen. Chris was doing drugs since age twelve after getting gang raped and her mom wouldn't believe her. She considers drugs and alcohol her escape from everything. She's always trying to hurt herself so she's always got bruises and cuts everywhere.

Other: Up for love and she needs someone that'll turn her away from it all.

Age: 15
Grade: 10th
Gender: male
Description: He has short dirty blond hair, bright blue eyes, slightly above average height, usually wears lacrosse shorts and surfer t-shirts, unless he is forced not to. Is very handsome
Personality: the fun guy, life of the party, always trying to find fun in everything, unless it is utterly boring then just goofs off.
History: He got kicked out of the only school in his town for misbehaving and his parents got a recommendation for it.
Other: up for love, can use any kind of board.

Description: long blonde hair with green eyes. He usually wears a green cap and a blue dress that reaches above the knee. she blushes easily

personality: shy, kind and a little bit of childish. However she loves to hear rock songs and can play a guitar. SHe loves to meet new people

history: she juts came from Bosnia and is still a bit new to this town. she loves with her adoptive father

Name: Connor Marshal

Age: 17

Grade: 12

Gender: Male

Description: Tall, lanky and athletic, with thick, slightly curly brown hair and pale brown eyes. He usually wears a plain white t-shirt and jeans that are a little torn at the cuffs with a pair of converse. He's almost always chewing something - the end of a pencil, gum, a match, whatever comes to hand, more or less.

Personality: He's impulsive and essentially does something if and only if it seems like a good idea. Most people think he's distracted because he seems to do little work, but when it comes to doing something he enjoys, such as drawing, going for his nightly jog or teaching himself a language (He's fluent in French, and has started learning German), his focus can be astonishing. He's what he calls a 'music junky'.

History: He was a good, dedicated student up until about year eight, when he fell in with the 'wrong crowd', so to speak, and realised that he would much rather enjoy himself than get good grades. When his parents - who are very wealthy - asked him about it, he told them he'd rather spend his life travelling than working at a job he hated. To try and force him back into his old work patterns, they sent him to the boarding school in the middle of year nine.

Other: Up for love. He also has a serious nail biting problem, and can only seem to stop himself by chewing something else.

Name: Alyse Walker

Age: 15

Grade: 10

Gender: Female

Description: Shorter auburn hair that goes to about her chin with long bangs cut across her face. She usually has her hair down with a headband, or in a ponytail. She had fair skin with freckles on her nose and hazel eyes. She has a lean athletic build.

Personality: She's very determined and competetive (when it comes to track and field). She is athletic, down-to-earth, and very kind. She's the type of person you'll want to confide in, but she tends to be a little out of it when it comes to gossip and guys. She does like to be a rebel when it comes to her father.

History: (Am I allowed to do this? I can change it if you want!) Alyse's dad owns a pretegious winery, so to speak. He wants Alyse to become a doctor, but she just really wants to have a good time in school. She wants to make friends, though her father wants her to concentrate on her studies.

Other: She's up for love. She loves track and field, as mentioned before, especially high jump, long jump, and the 1500m race. She trains very hard for those. Alyse has a knack for the piano and violin (as alot of my characters do...) She tends to fiddle during class, and not pay that close attention.

(I hope I didn't make her sound perfect! Once we get playing, she'll definitely sound more normal!)

Age: 16

Grade: 11

Gender: male

Personality: He is very friendly and caring. He doesn't usually hate a person. His flaw, suffers from depression. It's given him mood swings from happy to wanting to be alone. He has a your life is more important that mine, kind of attitude.

History: He wanted too. His parents were giving him a hard time about not socializing enough and he wanted to go at his own pace at fighting his depression.. He made a deal with his parents that if he kept decent grades they'd allow him to go.

Other: Up for love. Also runs cross country and track long distance. When ever he feels down he goes for a long run. It seems to calm him.

Name: Emily Peters

Age: 15

Grade: 10

Gender: Female

Personality: Emily is the troublemaker of the group. Almost everywhere she goes, she loves to break rules. She is really witty.

History: After being kicked out of her last school, her parents forced her to come to a boarding school.

Age: 16

Grade: 11

Gender: Female

Description: She has natural ebony hair, deep violet eyes, paleish skin, a small light build and an imposing stance.

Personality: She's tough and strong. Being from a large family, and her being the youngest and smallest, she's learned how to stick up for herself and from all the dares her older brothers put her up against she's become very reckless and brave but frank to the point of rudeness. She's like Pepper in Annie.

History: Her parents were fed up with her after her reckless disobedience got her in trouble many times.

Other: Up for love. And she took kickboxing and karate and loves lattes and marzipan.

Name: Chad Bishop
Age: 16
Grade: 11
Gender: male
Description: Floppy blond hair, pale blue eyes. Tens to wear hoodies and jeans
Personality: Very outgoing, and likes to be around a lot of people. Has tons of friends and doesn't like being alone.
History: why are they at the school- Parents moved to Hawaii and didn't want to take him with them, so they put him in boarding school.
Other: up for love, swims,plays tennis and actually gets really nervous around girls he likes. This translates to a couple of clumsy moments. Plays guitar.

Ok well we've already got ten people so the one character per person rule still applies. I didn't get a chance to post my character so here he is.


Name: Matt Cauthon

Age:16

Grade: 10 (I'll explain)

Gender: male

Description: Shortish black hair that naturally looks messy, like he just got out of bed. He is average hight, and is muscular, but in a small way. He has been told that he was very handsome. He has pale skin even though he goes outside allot. His ring finger on his left hand is missing. He has golden eyes.

Personality: He has a photographic memory, and this is what has contributed to his personality the most. He always seems lazy, and is rarely on time to class. His image is actually quite deceiving because he is always alert, and is always paying attention. He only has a couple of close friends, and he is very close to them, he almost seems detached to the rest of the world though. He is very down to earth. He often has trouble talking to people that he doesn't know, and he is incoherent talking to girls he likes.

History: His dad is a professional MMA fighter, and his mom is a fashion designer, so he did not lack in money when he was growing up. His parents were never at home so he was left with his grandparents. When he was in third grade they died and, since they were like his parents, he stopped caring about school and was held back a year. After that he was sent to boarding school. On the drive up there he was in a car crash and lost his ring finger on his left hand.

Other: Because of his dad he knows how to fight, but he hates it. He is the captain of the soccer team. When his grandparents died he turned to music and has amassed a very large collection of music. He plays guitar, piano, a little bit of violin. Up for love. He has his license and likes do drive very fast. Whenever he is sad he goes out to the country and drives.

Ill give more info on his personality as I write.

Athletic body, but she's lazy. Only likes tennis. Average high and not too skinny.
Personality: She is though. When some one messes with her, she replies and acts like nothing hurts her, but when she's alone, she brakes to pieces. She's cheerful, competitive, and tries to be fair. She does not want to give into habits, like drugs or tobacco, because she wants to stay clean and to have a nice school experience so that she can go to college and have a good career. She likes to write and loves depressing music and almost anything that's depressing. She's like two persons that live in two worlds. to her friends she's ok and acts friendly and cheerful; in her world she cries way too much and likes to suffer.
History: Her mom divorced her dad after a 15 year marriage, and she moved away with her mom and a few millions. Her father owns a big company.
Other: Up for love. She likes to play tennis and the piano. Likes to drink. Not too much drinking, but likes to have a good time and loves parties. And she gets mad easily.

Alyse~

I slammed the trunk of the SUV down. To be truthful, I had no idea how much I wanted to be here. The students varied. Rebels to good-two-shoes. Where would I fit in? My parents had arranged for me to meet with the music teacher this afternoon once I was settled in. They still believed that my talents in piano and violin exceeded that of my talents jumping backwards over a bar.

Though-- I hadn't to admit this-- I loved playing music and all, I still liked doing sports more! I combed a hand through my hair quickly, and stuck my blue headband in. Compared to all the other students, I stuck out like a sore thumb. I wore knee-high blue argyle socks, an matching sweater-vest, a long sleeved navy blue shirt, and a pleated green skirt. My parents had insisted that I wore this. I hated it. I'd rather be wearing the beat-up red converse and jeans. But, oh, no. My rich and successful father thought that his daughter needed to look like a prep, so he bought her these expensive clothes and forced her to wear them.

I feel like a kid, I thought when I saw two students snicker. Yes. I looked like my parents were over-bearing and I was just a little baby. I'll prove them wrong! I thought, as I grabbed my two heavy leather suitcases and walked towards the entrance of the school.

I sent my parents off at the door, telling them I'd be fine finding my room. Reluctantly, they began mingling with the 'more prestegious' parents. I dragged my suitcases up the stairs and stopped. Wait, where was my room?

Name: May Kurenai

Age: 15

Description: She is a normal height and skinny, but not like a rail. She has(its unnatural she dyes it) dark brown hair and deep blue eyes. she had braces but had them taken off early because she "looked like a hippo with a grill" and her teeth are slightly straght yet crooked at the same time. She smiles in the weirdest of situations, which is mostly all the time.

Persona: She loves to laugh and have a great time but is quiet sometimes. She appears happey and cheerful most of the time but sometimes reamains a mystery to most. She has the attention span of a Nat and sometimes gets on peoples nerves because of it. Because of her ADD like nature she has picked up many, different, hobbies. One including parkour, which she got bored of because other people were too slow to keep up and the teacher always yelled at her when she beat him.

History: Her Brother recently died in a car crash with his girlfriend and her parents are never home, making it easy for Kurenai to get bored. Her father is the heir to a "Wine legacy" direct from italy, which explains all of his buisness trips and her mother has gone a little it crazy after the death of her brother. Her family is not just in the wine buisness

Other: She loves anime and thats one of the only hobbies she has kept going. She loves to go moshing also because to her, music always changes so she doesnt need to worry about getting bored. She is musically challenged and cannot sing nor play any instrument, though she can dance because her parents wanted to create a "Wine princess" where as she attended many cattilion and ballet classes. This attempt at making her "perfect" failed epically when they found that her brother had been sneaking her into concerts and making all of her fruffy dresses dissapear to be later replaced with skinny pants and t-shirts.
