I was up before anyone else the next day and hurried off to the quarentene tent to check on the patient. He was doing fine, sleeping still, like every other sane person.
Colt got up and yawned, Trinity was curled up next to him clutching his arm. He sighed and freed his arm. He quietly walked towards the quarintine area. He needed to see if Inez was hungry.
I saw Colt near the tent. Oh no! There wasn't any way for him to get close enough to see me. The fence was a good twenty feet out. I gasped and hid next to the door.
He couldn't be serious, he wouldn't do something that dangerous would he? No he wouldn't. She closed her eyes and tightened the mask on her face. Still debating about weither or not to go out there.
"You have five seconds, Inez." He called sitting on top of the fence. "I need to know you are ok." He waited and she still didn't come out. He jumped the fence and slowly started for the lean-to.
(((Ya, it's really really bad too. My parents are.....grrrrrr.....it's annoying.))))
Colt---
Inez started to fall and he caught her. "Inez, what do I do to help you?" He asked looking down at her and cradling her in his arms. "Don't worry about me getting sick, I have a strong immune system."
Colt frowned, "You can't stand on your own two feet, you need to eat." He scooped her up and carried her towards their lean-to where he could get her some food. "You need to take care of yourself just as much as the others." He said,
"Trintiy, go get some flowers, yell if you need anything." he said, Trinity nodded and ran off ready to get to the flowers. Colt put Inez down and got her some food handing it to her. "Why didn't you tell me you were sick?" He demanded. "Being around the other sick people couldn't have been good."
All truly wise thoughts have been thought already thousands of times; but to make them truly ours, we must think them over again honestly, till they take root in our personal experience. — Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
