Cloaked Healer

I flash a smile beneath my hood and watch Izzy fall asleep, "Miss, if it isn't too much, I wish to stay a while longer. Your husband is not fully revived. I am the only one to help him if things reverse themselves. Besides, young Izzy is sleeping and I would rather not wake her by travel."

Rayah

I nod and flash another smile. "S'fine with me," I say, kneeling next to Jace again and stroking his cheek with my thumb as he sleeps.

Cloaked Healer

I glance away, respecting their privacy, and push back memories of my own lost love. Izzy stirs in her sleep but stays silent, clutching to me.

"You are...Aphrodite and Poseidon, yes?" I ask the wife, "As Sir Carter is Hermes?"

Rayah

I nod, glancing up at him. "yes. Why?"

Cloaked Healer

I merely shrug, "You resemble your parents. Especially Sir Carter. He and Hermes could be interchangeable..."

Rayah

I smile and nod, "Yeah, he's just better though," I look back at Jace.

Cloaked Healer

I flash a smile and set Izzy down on one of the counters, "Especially in personality. Sir Carter is humble. Hermes is nothing of the sort."

Rayah

I nod in agreement before looking up at him. "Yep, that's my Jace.." I chuckle.

Cloaked Healer

I nod, holding my hand out, "I do believe I owe an introduction. Mark Stanton, of Hermes as well. It's nice to see friendly half-family every once and a while."

Rayah

I smile and stand, shaking his hand. "Rayah Carter," I introduce. "Nice to meet you."

Mark

"Nice to meet you too," I say, leaning against the counter and checking on Izzy, "You've already met my daughter, I see."

Rayah

I nod, smiling. "She reminds me of my daughter," I sigh.

Mark

"How old is yours?" I ask, "Perhaps a playdate can be arranged. Izzy...she doesn't have many friends around her age. Our life has been difficult these past few years."

Rayah

I think. "Riley and Logan are five," I say, nodding. "And a playdate would be cool."

Mark

"Ah, twins," I nod, "Izzy is four." Supposed to be six...
