Excellent question. When we start I plan to post first. I'm planning to have my character go inspect or be present during the scene of someone just as they arrive to be stranded on the island (idk who it will be yet). I expect currently that we will not all be together as we all arrived at different parts of the island and at different times (ex: my character has been on the island the longest, almost 20 years or so). Though I assume after a bit all our characters will soon come to know each other, but that doesn't mean they have to be friends or work together. That's for our characters to decide and work out as they strive to stay alive and hope to one day leave. Our characters will face challenges such as each other, starvation, the wilds of the island, native creatures, their sanity, etc.

I think there fine. We now have all the slots filled and all the profiles posted so we will be starting soon. I will post the starting post this weekend. Like I already mentioned, my character is going to see one of you guys come to be on island. If anyone wants they can suggest their character or I could just pick the one I think might work best.

I trust your judgememt. If you DO pick Mike, though, he's by a big lake, at the mouth of a river. I'm going to go now and edit his history and kind of "create" the place he's set his camp up in. If that's not ok, tell me and I'll un edit.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.
If it's ok, I kind of want to start my post with Santana first waking up and discovering she's on the island and finding Rainy. Unless that's a problem... Then I can do something else.
I am not a mod for this storybook, Journey, but I would not reccomend that. As great as the plan that you may have for your characters may be, it might be a little while before they find anyone else. As I may have said before, writting the responses to two characters who have only eachother is ridiculously boring. I would strongly suggest that you separate them in the beginning--key word there being suggest. If you really want to, go for it. Still...

Well I was thinking that Rainy could haave found someone else so Santana would find them when she finds Rainy, and maybe Santana finds another person along the way.

I Really can't wait to see how the story comes together. I don't know how to begin my first post though. It's my first storybook where we will actually write. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Writing alone can be my escape. Writing with others is my idea of fun
Okay guys, we are now underway! I just posted my post to start it off. Methrirr, I used your character as the one mine saw. Also, I hope you don't mind but my post slightly contradicted Mikes history of when he crashed on the island, but only slightly. Now that this has started, I can't wait to see how it will play out.

There’s always a story. It’s all stories, really. The sun coming up every day is a story. Everything’s got a story in it. Change the story, change the world. — Terry Pratchett
