We definitely have an entertaining cast of characters in this roleplay.
Also, I posted! I had Stephanie suggest an alternative to the hardware store idea because of ~Plot~. I may or may not have had to google the names of outdoor gear stores, mainly because it's been way too long since I was last in one and all I can remember are incredibly basic versions of their logos. >>
Also, she's getting uncomfortable in her clothes and is going to want to change in something more modern. Are our characters going to be able to do that, or not because it wouldn't fit the character? I was thinking she'd find some more comfy clothes at the outdoor store.
Or would she find something at the store that isn't what you'd ordinarily find but something that fits within the 1930s?

I was hoping to get a post up for this tonight, but it looks like I'll have to push that post until either tomorrow or on Friday.
If no one minds, I think I'll just timeskip us to the outdoor gear store! Just to save us some time. <3
(I keep forgetting time skips are a thing I can include in roleplays.)
Also, if you want, feel free to add another character in somewhere around the city! They would follow the same rules as the rest of the cast - they wouldn't be able to share their name and wouldn't look like themselves.
I've been debating doing it with Stephanie because I feel like I haven't really fleshed her out like I was envisioning when I first threw her in here, so it would be good to have someone else to keep things going/keep me engaged with the story.
@Carina, that's my problem with Stephanie! It's always a guessing game when doing roleplays with new characters or old characters you haven't touched in awhile. The hope is that they'll be a lot of fun to roleplay, but they always run the risk of not being as enjoyable as expected.
Posted! We've officially time-skipped to the store. I'm thinking that the "things" that stirred are any additional characters we decide to throw in. I wasn't originally thinking of adding new characters, but I think that actually works better with the plot I've been scheming up since I first made this roleplay. There's been one little part I haven't been able to figure out, and our new character(s) should help me fix it.
I can't wait to see your NaNo MC when you put her in her first roleplay. <3 I know I've been thinking of doing the same with my protagonists when November is over!
And gosh, Carter as James is a really entertaining concept. I'm just imagining James seeing right through him because it's so obviously Carter, but then Carter has no idea why this Jacob guy keeps giving him the stink eye and the silent treatment.
I'm still not sure who I'll throw in, but I'm definitely going to sleep on it and add someone new soon. I have an important NPC-esque character in the works, too, but I don't think we'll officially see them until the end of the roleplay - so it will be good for me to write someone a little more engaging than Steph!
