I think I MIGHT try to get a post in over the weekend. Just depends on how things are in my real life. But anyways, in the case that I can, where should I place Arlen? I'm not quite sure what he would do for the king (ha) or how the king would act towards him. I'm sure, though, that he has probably met Adelaide before, since he probably works in Needlespur. I would imagine that Adelaide's skill at reading people would make him uncomfortable around her, since he has a lot he keeps to himself. And meeting Sirjad's another option.
Well then, opinions? Advice?

How he would interact with the King? From your description, it sounds like Arlen would try to get the king to help out Rahel with whatever Rahel needs. The King, however, wouldn't take him seriously, and neither would the rest of the court because he's not a mage. The King would probably treat him more as a trophy than as a person because of his unique hair. In fact, that's probably the biggest reason for his appointment to the court. When he's out of the King's attention, most of the mages would probably be cruel, telling him he doesn't belong there. This would make a distinction between Adelaide and the rest. Maybe even introduce Arlen to Sirjad, or maybe he sees evidence of a conspiracy. At the very least, he gets close and personal with corporate scheming.

Yeah, @MJTucker, Sheyren pretty much said it. There's not a lot of action right now, and you don't actually need to interact with anyone. If you want to, though, I think you could tie in Caroline or maybe Sirjad. Ey Bickers is another good option, especially since we haven't seen him do anything yet.

I have some interesting ideas for Sirjad by the way, which will involve a lot of action, but I imagine that the story would flow much better if he was introduced to Arlen first, if @Lael has time to write a chapter of course..
I could try, but there's AP testing this week and the next, so I'm not sure. You are welcome to bring Arlen in, @Terian805. If you'd like to do that, just PM me and I can help you with details of his character. But either way, I will see what I can do.

Is anyone actually writing a post at the moment? Because if not, I may write one just to keep things moving.

Hey guys, I know activity has been spotty recently (myself included), but I personally am in a rougher patch for school at this time of year. I promise to have started writing a post for Arlen by the week after next. Let's keep communicating with each other and make a great story together!
