John 14:27: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
I'm not saying I'm going next (anyone feel free to go if you'd like), but I figure that Watanabe will be recruiting Wei Cheng. If Peter showed up trying to get him to join them, the very least Wei Cheng would do is slam the door in his face, since he hates westerners. Can't blame him, though, with what happened in those times.
But what I'm stuck on is how Watanabe knows about Wei Cheng's archery skills, since he hides that aspect, and since my man's such a loner that he kind of doesn't live in the actual village village. I guess Watanabe might have secretly stumbled upon Wei Cheng practicing in his yard a couple of times in the past?
"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7
John 14:27: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
I plan on Kyoko being the last to be recruited. By my research, while Women Samurai were not extremely uncommon, they were not seen as serious. With the Japanese and American societies both believing that a woman's place is in the home with the children it is unlikely that she would be approached without a display of her skills first.
