This RP will be a bit unique (I think)! Not only is this borrowing from an existing world in one of my novels, but the RP setup will be a little different from the standard. Instead of all of us being on one team, we start as rivals, and are slowly brought together as we rendevous at the final "boss arena" for lack of a better term. Even then, well...they're not going to get along so well.
Therefore, there's going to be a lot of fighting between OUR characters! Half the time, I think we can fairly determine who the winners of certain fights will be, but for those fights that will be completely up in the air, we'll have...dice moments! Through online dice and wheel spins, the idea is to invoke a bit of that tabletop-rp style to randomize some outcomes and keep things interesting. We'll also be using this to determine what sorts of obstacles each character will encounter. The result: an absolute free-for-all amid a strife-filled, chaotic world. That's TFR for you!

A note on languages...
The default language in both the main work, and this one, is "Northern," which is really just English. Most tribes have their own native tongue, but many opt to learn Northern for practicality's sake.
There are only two tribes in TFR lore (thus far) with otherwise unique language functions: Gargoyles and Demons.
Demons are, by nature, severely dyslexic toward mortal languages, so though speaking Northern is very common, it's very rare that they can/will learn how to read it.
Gargoyles, quite the opposite, use the Northern alphabet by default, but their anatomy renders them almost physically incapable of speaking outside their native language (for example, a gargoyle trying to pronounce "lightning" would probably wind up saying something along the lines of "rrrraihniinkhhh").
If you think this is an interesting angle to take with your Gargoyle/Demon character, go for it! But if you don't want to bother finding an alternative means of reading/communication, or finding an interpreter, it is equally fine to bend this lore.
