Whispers of great consciousnesses,
Were forgotten in the sea time

My grandmother fled,
Thus she joined the deleted ones

My mother and elder sister,
Escaped too in search of
Space to breathe

A way out of the cage,
A challenge to their one way
life as a princess with puzzles,
Books, fencing skills and

The most beautiful thing yet:
The call of poetry

Through the grass they ran
Free as a birds
As leaves in wind
And as fish in the ocean

Yet Their husbands
turned blind eyes,
Looking for replacements
In “Sit Still Look Pretties”

Great consciousnesses
Oh so wise
Rise not in cages
But truly live in
field of flowers

Sadly, time has to cast
Its blanket of future

And so they were forgotten
In the blink of an eye
Gone with time itself

Forever breathing
And living.
