Onni laughed. "Good. At least Mia taught us one thing." Ey started walking towards the house. "This is pretty easy so far. I'm wondering when the ball's going to drop."

"She taught us a lot of things," said Sylvie, voice low for a second as she followed alongside Onni. "Its stupid to hope its never going to drop, but that would be nice wouldn't it?"

"It would be. Maybe, for once, we don't have to worry about it going wrong. We just get a dead man to forgive someone, and we're okay." Onni laced eir fingers with Sylvie and sighed. "And we'll find Mia sipping her favorite tea, and that'll be it."

Sylvie gave Onni's fingers a squeeze. "Yup, that's exactly how it'll go, maybe we can even have a tea party before we leave."

Onni nodded. "That sounds... nice. Maybe we'll leave everything behind and find something new. Maria might think we died."

"Now that sounds like something to look forward to."

Onni approached the door of the house on the hill. "Alright, we're here." Ey swallowed nervously. "Let's see how well it goes."

"Yeah. I'm sure this is going to be just as easy as the previous part was," said Sylvie.

Onni nodded. "Of course."

Ey knocked on the front doot.

A man with deep wrinkles on his forehead opened the door. He looked clearly unhappy. "What? What do you want?"

"Umm..." said Sylvie, exchanging a look with Onni. Maybe they should have planned something before going up and knocking.

The man, most likely Phillip, crosses his arms. "Well, what?"

Onni's scowl came back with full force. "Tell us who you haven't forgiven."

Sylvie's eyes widened. That was a lot more direct than she'd been expecting, but she really didn't have anyone but herself to blame for being surprised by that. That's just who Onni was.

"Yes sir. We'd like to know that. Please and thank you."

Phillip scoffed. "I don't have to tell you nothing."

Onni squinted at him. "Yes, you do."

"It would be very helpful if you do sir," added Sylvie. She was pretty sure it wouldn't help at all, but she had to try.

Phillip groaned. "Is this Brian's sad attempt to see if I'm still angry at him?" He shooed them away. "Get off my porch." Before he closed the door, he stuck out his head one last time. "And tell Brian I haven't forgiven him yet. Or ever!" He slammed the door closed.

Onni sighed. "That went well."
