"Think I found what to finish filling up on," she laughed, holding the bowl between the two of them. There was far more than the two of them could possibly eat combined. But she was going to try.

“Oh, I love myself a good challenge.” Alex knew neither of them were going to finish it, but it was nice to pretend.

Sadie sank into a contented silence as she worked through the sundae. She wished she had her Lactaid with her. But decided the excruciating pain would be worth it for this glory.

“You okay, you’re sweating there.” Alex poked her gently with their spoon.

Sadie laughed. "Oh, I'm Gucci. Just tryna find room in my second stomach to eat the rest of this. I'm on a mission."

Alex laughed. “Understandable. How are you doing on that front?”

"Guess we'll see," she said with a smirk. "It's a race against the dairy, but I feel like I got a decent headstart."

She'd just deal with it once it caught up.

“Do you need a lactaid or something? I saw some near the mini fridge.” Alex gestured over. “Another thing to charge to their card.”

"Really?" she perked up. "Where?"

Alex went over and grabbed her one, tossing it to her.

"Thanks!" Sadie grinned and grabbed it then opened the packet. She pulled it out, looking for a drink, but smirking mischievously. "Think I can swallow this with ice cream?"

“I think that would be a challenge to God herself, so I say go for it.” Alex grinned, grabbing another spoonful of the sundae.

“Haha, that would be beautifully ironic.” She did not, however, do that, and instead found a bottle of water to take the pill. It was kind of nice, anyhow, to get some water in her to counteract the sugar. But that didn’t stop her from going straight back to the sundae immediately.

Alex took a sip of water as well, the back of their throat burning from the ungodly amounts of chocolate syrup. “So, what do you think happens after we go back?”

"I mean... they'll probably yell at us for spending so much money on food." Sadie smirked and reached for a cannoli to dip into the ice cream. "Then, who knows? It seems like they're willing to pay to watch us hurt ourselves." Sadie shrugged, talking past a mouthful of sweets now. "Which I'm actually really okay with."
