It's a dark, stormy night. The door makes a pitiful squeak as you enter. The room is just as gloomy as the weather, but something about it seems...warm. You've heard about this place; or rather, the person who runs it. They like making deals. And you've come to make one.
There's a rustle behind the counter as a young woman emerges from the darkness. She looks...interested. Excited, even. There's an ink quill in her hand, along with a scroll of paper. She wants answers. She wants opportunity. She wants...reviews.
The Guidelines of the Tavern
✏ Just a quick disclaimer: I am currently in school and work can pile up; so if I don't review your piece immediately that's likely the reason why. Please be patient with me! I promise I'll get to it eventually.
✏ I review just about everything I can get my hands on, but I do have a few policies: nothing too gory, graphic, explicit, etc. I tend to steer away from such topics because they can occasionally be triggering. (I also will not review isolated chapters unless I am already caught up with the story.)
✏ Please note that I am very keen on poetry! However, I will also review prologues, first chapters, essays, and articles. If you have a piece that is 18+, I'll need a quick content description in your form.
