This is a feature that has been requested for a while, especially by Flemzo, and I've now finally added it: random literary works.

Each page now displays a random literary work, and you should notice it as soon as you load a page (it's on the right near the top if you don't notice it). It's not completely random, however. In order for a literary work to appear, it cannot be more than a month old and it must have at least two gold stars. This ensures you aren't seeing literary works from years ago, and that someone else already thought it was a good read.

The random literary works are being displayed next to the header ads as an experiment; I'm testing to see whether ad revenue will increase as a result. As a part of this experiment, the header ads are being displayed a bit differently on Chimped Out and on Default.

That's so cool! I'm relieved it won't pull old stuff up, so. XD Thanks, Nate.

I love it! I've already seen two of my pieces up there!
*Don't expect to see me around much in the next couple of weeks. School has started again, and it'll be a couple of weeks before I've settled in. If you've asked me for a critique, you will get it, but not for a little while. Sorry*

Awesome! But maybe it has to have three stars? 'cause one is automatic, and you can give yourself one. So even if you have two, it is possible that no one else read it.

That's a nice idea. But maybe you could make it that the poster has given at least two reviews too.

Awesome! The only problem I have with it is the two gold stars rule -- for one thing, not everyone who reads something and likes gives it a gold star I've seen pieces with 10+ super-positive reviews, and no stars. For another thing, my taste may be different from other peoples'. So, I can understand your thinking behind it... but I'm not sure I like it as much as the rest of this new feature.

Oh, and a question: do pieces of all ratings show up,? I assume if it's rated R it won't show up, but I just want to make sure.

I hope I don't sound too negative -- I actually do think this addition is awesome.

Really, I do.
