YWS is turning the magical number 7. And it's time to celebrate! Take a break from your NaNo, clear your heads, and break that wall of witer's block! Write us a story themed on the seventh birthday. Rules and thread now posted!

Chat games. Come on down to the chat to play some of your favourite classics YWS style. There will be wink murder, YWS cluedo and perhaps even a new game on the table. A fun, relaxing hour to help you chill out, ready for the weekend.

Monkeys vs Dragons! Which side will you support in the traditional YWS mascot wars? If you don't know anything about monkeys vs dragons then this is your chance to join in with a fun filled YWS tradition where two teams battle it out in chat to see which will be the reigning champion. The task? Prove your knowledge by answering themed quiz questions. The price? Bragging rights. Oh yeah.

Once per day for the next seven days there will be a chat country quiz. Look for them, they'll be hiding in the type of a Junior/Moderator
