If you're writing in the code to change text color (ex. [color=green]), does it mess you up that you have to write 'color' instead of 'colour'?

It does me sometimes. :P

I don't tend to change colour much, so I can't comment on that ^^;;

But when I'm trying to centre some text and have to use <center> instead it really throws me off. I can never ever get it right first time, even if I remind myself when I'm typing.
please grant me my small wish; (love me to the marrow of my bones)

Not at all. I'm very used to American forums so I automatically type 'color' when using the codes. It just comes immediately when I use the square brackets.

Pish posh!

Actually, I'm surprised it isn't 'colour.' The underlying software was written using British spellings, so I have no idea why the programmers of phpBB went with 'color.' They do it even in the newer version of phpBB; in fact, the bbcode itself is 'color' but the explanation right on the 'submit a new post' page uses 'colour.'

Go figure.

It's the same in HTML (not that I write much o' that anymore) but it's kinda cool anyway. It makes a welcome change :)
