The votes have been counted, and we move onto the Nomination Stage! It's pretty simple - I won't explain how I adjudicated each award, as the votes for each one made it difficult to keep a constant system - but it generally involved the top three voted, but including those who had the same votes. For example, if Person A, B, C and D all got 2 votes for a particular category, and 2 was the highest number of votes for any person in that category, all four were nominated. It's a little more complex than that, but that's the gist of it. Just explaining why there are variable amounts of nominees for each category.

Remember, these are NOT the winners. Just the nominees, who after further deliberation from me and others who will need to assist me (for example, some involve me and I need an impartial judge for them) one person will be given the award.

Without further ado, the nominations are...

Best Overall Member - Areida07, Crysi, Firestarter

Funniest Member - Aniar, Hunter, Muse, Sureal

Most Helpful Member/Friendliest Member - Areida07, Crysi, Niteowl

Best Reviewer of Prose - Brad, Meshugenah, Ohhewwo, Reichieru, Sam, Snoink (This category was most complicated. None of you seemed to agree on the best few, so there's a lot of nominations. Makes it all more tense, eh?)

Best Reviewer of Poetry - Brad, bubblewrapped, Reichieru

Best Poet - Brad, Caligula's Launderette, Firestarter, Liz

Best Writer - Areida07, Brad, Duskglimmer

Member You’d Most Like to Shoot - BlueStone, Brad, Fontroy

Best Moderator - Crysi, ElectricBlueMonkey, Firestarter, Hunter, Nate

Best Story - “The Girl and Her Wolf/Amongst the Tombstones” by tortured_artboy, “Voices” by Duskglimmer, “Cold” by Duskglimmer, “Hourglass” by Sam, “I Can Hear Voices” by Areida07, “She Hung Up On Me Again” by Areida07, “Juliet Playing with Knives” by Liz, “One Single Hate” by Darkmoon158

(Again, complicated. Not so much nominees as those actually voted for. There was a lacklustre response (you're all lazy) for both this and best poem category, and so it was basically any that were chosen)

Best Poem - “Untitled” by Faith (May 23rd), “you know I’d sing for you” by Firestarter, “division” by Firestarter, “egotistic satchelbags and heels” by Liz, “The ripples in the water are not gentle anymore” by writersdomain, “Poem for Chevy” by Brad, “l'orangina rouge” by Liz

(same as above)

Best Off-Topic Topic - Flirt Much?, Person Above You, Post-Your-Own-Pic

Spam Master (a.k.a. Most Overly Active Member) - Aniar, Fontroy, YoshiArmada

Best Debater - Bobo, Galatea, QiGuaiGongFu, Reichieru

Best Lyricist - Chevy, Harley, Sgt.Pepper

Best Artist - lollipop, Bobo, Muse

Best Usergroup - Big Brother, The Kingdom of Evandor, VIP

Best Blog - Dragon’s Keep (Crysi), Fear (Hunter), Something Is Rotten In The State Of Denmark (Sam),

Best Avatar - Bobo, Caligula's Launderette, Crysi, Firestarter

The Winners will be posted in the next few days after the nominees have been carefully examined and analysed. You'll just have to wait till then!

So who's going to take home all the awards? Debate and discuss here!

Err...you have nothing to do now. The judges (me and who I pick) shall decide.

Me? Shoot? Hmmmm... With what gun I might ask? Or do you mean shoot as in you are planning on shooting a lady, but I heroically jump in front of the way and take it to the dome. Congrats to all winners of all types! People like you should be more popular. But I daresay, I should have recieved honorable mention for the debator catagory. I've argued with all those people who were mentioned as debators. Maybe I didn't win, but a fight is worth playing at. Anyways! Happy boarding!

^_^ I've read almost all of the peices nominated for "Best Story" and "Best Poem", and I can honestly say that they are all deserving of the title. This makes me happy.
i thought you were shallow, but then i fell in deep.

LOL Rei. I didn't nominate a lot of categories because of my inaction in the literary forums. Needles to say, I'm not suprised that I haven't been listed in any related categories lol.

I think Fontroy will win that category though!
