@PenguinAttack, I'm kind of a sucker for autobiographies and memoirs. Here's a couple funny ones that you might enjoy and they're not very long either:
Tender at the Bone by Ruth Reichl <- The descriptions can be hilarious and it's a pretty easy read. It's about cooking, but not really.
A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson <- A guy and his obese friend hike the Appalachian trail and they have absolutely no hiking experience. It was recently turned into a movie, as well.
@PenguinAttack As for a political memoir, I would recommend Infidel by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. It is definitely not humourous, as it is about a Somali woman and her experience with a variety of tough topics, including FGM and the Muslim Brotherhood. She eventually becomes a Dutch politician and her political commentary is keen, informative, and possibly very enlightening. If you're having to read a political memoir, this is probably it because it is rather inspiring and not some sort campaign stunt written by a prime ministerial/presidential candidate.
well, what if all the books are from The Library. ^_^
This is still a thing, don't forget to grab a book, read it, and to update the list! =)

I'm about 23 books along, so a healthy half-way mark. How is everyone else doing?
A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads only lives once ~George R. Martin Life isn't about finding yourself; it's about recreating yourself. ~George B. Shaw
I'm so impressed by the lists! I've only got 11/40 for the original list at the moment, but I've been adding the other books I've read so I'm sitting on 32/70.
I like you as an enemy, but I love you as a friend.
