YWS is now YDS: the Young Dragons Society!

Long-time members may recall that several years ago, YWS held a series of polls to determine the official mascot. After two rounds, the top three candidates were a monkey, a dragon, or a kangaroo. The first two duked it out in a final round with monkeys ultimately prevailing.

So YWS' April Fools 2014 event was a homage to that:

Users were able to pick their favorite of the three choices provided, which did two things. First, it added the appropriate letter next to your username. Secondly, it changed the logo:

As you can tell from the screenshot above, dragons easily carried the day with a thumping 59% victory. As such, I am proud to announce that YWS is now YDS: THE YOUNG DRAGONS SOCIETY!

Just kidding of course ;)

I was flummoxed by fractious Franny's decision to abrogate analgesics for the moribund victims of the recent conflagration. Of course, to display histrionics was discretionary, but I did so anyways, implicating a friend in my drama to make the effect cumulative. I think a misanthrope would have a prosaic appellation, perhaps one related to autonomy and the rejection of anthropocentrism. I think they wouldn't think much of the prominence of watching the coagulation of tea to prognosticate future malevolent events, not even if those events were related to jurisprudence.
