That's right! The Writer of the Week Fan Club is hosting its first-ever contest, which has—of course—a Writer of the Week theme.
If you love Writer of the Week, this contest is right up your alley. The prompt is to write a piece (either an article/essay, poem or short story) that involves Writer of the Week as a theme. You could write a short story about a girl that becomes Writer of the Week (or WOTW for short) and then turns into a writing superhero, or a poem about how big your love is for Writer of the Week. Anything you want (so long as it fits the theme)!
Yep, it's Monday again already! Have a good week, I hope? You did? Awesome! Well, it's going to be an even better week for this WOTW.
This week's writer was chosen based off their poetry writing skills. This person is so good with poetry, you could even call them a poetry ninja...
The lucky writer's a poem extraordinaire. This person has written many a great piece on YWS, and received plenty of rave reviews to further prove it. Our panel of judges were swept away by this person's skills, and the decision to choose her them for this fine honor was truly a no-brainer.
Please give a round of applause for our phenomenal Writer of the Week...
Yes, Pompadour. The great writer herself, whose poems are so brilliant they are mind-boggling. Don't believe me? Then you obviously haven't checked out her portfolio. You can find it here: profile/Pompadour/portfolio/460476
(And you really should read her stuff. It's crazy good, to say the least.)
Please take a second to congratulate Pompadour for her poem-writing, cookie-ninja greatness.
