Hey! 👋

I'm Cate, and I like to read historical fiction, adventure/mystery books, and Christian biographies (especially missionary biographies!). 📖

I'm from Australia and like to write adventure books! 📝

I'm a junior web developer as well, and here's my GitHub profile ➡️ github.com/cate-k

I'm also looking for someone to help each other brainstorm, review pieces together, and be friends. 😊

The simple truth is that authors like making people squirm. If this weren't the case, all novels would be filled completely with cute bunnies having birthday parties.

"For a short space of time I remained at the window watching the pallid lightnings that played above Mont Blanc and listening to the rushing of the Arve, which pursued its noise way beneath. The same lulling sounds acted as a lullaby to my too keen sensations; when I placed my head upon my pillow, sleep crept over me; I felt it as it came and blessed the giver of oblivion."
— Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
