Hello, my name is Raye, but you can call me FlyingDream. I really like writing fantasy stories, and I'm always up in the clouds (not such a bad thing) ha ha. Anyways, you people seem VERY nice (that's why I joined). My dream is to publish a national best seller and become the world's next JK Rowling. Ha ha, it's not such a bad dream now is it?

Hi, I'm Starbean169. I'm fifteen years old, and am going into my junior year of high school. I enjoy building robots, digital photography, and playing music (I play cello and piano), and I like to listen to lots of different bands like OK Go, Evanescence, The Offspring, Jackson Browne, O-Zone, and the Dixie Chicks. I'm on a robotics team at my high school, which cuts into a lot of time for writing during the school year.

I guess I'd say the kind of writing I enjoy most for school is factual essays about history and science, but I also enjoy creative writing. I'm working on an action/adventure novel which isn't really coming along that well. I joined because I like to read, and because hopefully I'll be able to get some constructive criticism on things I write (if I ever get anything done ).

It's not a bad dream at all, FlyingDream In fact, I hope to some day have a published fantasy work. Fantasy is probably my favorite genre to write/read, so if you need a critique on anything you've posted, just send me a quick PM and I'll be happy to look at it.

Starbean, you have very extensive taste in music - OK Go AND O-Zone? I can't say I've met anyone else who listens to both of those bands, that's pretty cool. And you're on a robotics team? I used to do Science Olympiad, and I remember helping some of the more circuit board-inclined kids build a robot that could "play" pool. It was really neat, and we won the state competition with it. Wooo!
