Either would be fine by me, but if they meet up then there could be some interesting scenes of them bonding to become good friends. Also something somewhat related to this, my dog looked at me funny when I said I was gonna be friends with a snake!

Just an idea, all of the hunters could become friends with one animal and once they get really closely bonded (Just some weird idea I had during math XD) they can sort of sense what the hunter is feeling (and vice versa) . An example is like the hunter gets hurt the animal feels it (Ex. Michelle gets hurt then slide feels it)

I like all these ideas you are coming up with. But, the hunters are going to be captured rather quickly. Most likely the animals will make friends with the Healer, Warrior, and Archer group sent to rescue the hunters.
