How did you hear about YWS?

How did you find out about YWS? From a friend? Google? Magazine?

If you found out about YWS through a search engine, do you happen to remember what search term you used?

After my old site shut down a few months after I looked on bing searching for 'young writers forums'

Google, I was looking for a new site after my parents bannd me going on RPGS forums. And I found this. Good thing I did too.

I was actually looking for this website I had discovered where people put up fanfiction and I was also, at the time, desperately looking for someone to aid me in my novel, I just happened upon this and I thought "gee this'll be perfect for me to put stuff up, just run in and out." Well I got pulled into YWS and though what exactly I typed in is a mystery to me, and I never found that website ether, I'm just glad I found friends in YWS:{P

I think I stumbled upon this when I was looking for a place where 'non-established' authors could post up their works and critic each other. Prior to that, I had been desperate to find Eragon fanfiction, of which I was a crazy fan at the time. So I kind of hit two birds with one stone.

Google. I searched for young writer's groups in my area, after a horrifying experience with a writing group of women in their late seventies, who's main focus was erotica. XD

Google. I got really tired of wattpad because no one there gave me useful feedback.

I searched "Good writing sites for teens" in google, and this page from Yahoo popped up.

Google. I got tired of dA 'cause you don't get any good feedback. Searched for "young writer's site", clicked on the first hit. I think it kinda assures you get YWS xD

Yeah, Google. I googled something like "young writers website" and this came up. Out first I was here under another name that I have long forgotten for about fifteen minutes and then I left and played some online pool or something. After a few months I re-googled and re-joined as muah.
