Hey I'm not part of this storybook, but as a suggestion what if you added a fifth element (spirit) that no one even knew existed? :)

The spirit fundamentals could have powers like mind reading, moving objects without touching them, talking to ghosts or other spirits, invisibility, creating illusions, seeing flashes of past/present/future, (and possibly borrowing another fundamental's element for a short period of time; not creating the power, but more using their body as a conductor to allow the element to flow through them and outwards).
Because no one knew that spirit fundamentals existed the spirit fundamentals would find it harder to learn their element or know what powers they have and to what extent. This could make things interesting.

Not sure what type of personality the sprit fundamentals might have, but they would most likely be causious, thoughtful, spiritual (duh), observant, wise, etc.

This is only a suggestion though! Don't feel like you need to add a fifth element xD Just thought I'd throw the idea out there is all.

Been there, done that, but thanks for your input. It's a really good idea, this just isn't that kinda SB. :)

It's an interesting idea but it would lead to problems as far as "over-powering" characters. In other words, whatever Fundamentals were "sipritualists" would have distinct advantages over all the other characters. It would sort of end up like "power-modding."

@EloquentDragon @ReisePiecey: I'd like for my character to form some type of friendship with one or both of your characters, since she lost her sister at a young age. What say you?

@Nike

Uh... not sure what you meant by "I need help?" Your post seemed a little... unfinished. (Nice fairy-cat-eye-thing, BTW ;) ) I think all that you need to do is add the section where Apathy commits suicide and ends up at the conference room. PM me if you need help brainstorming, or something.

@janika --As I've said earlier, I want to avoid pairing up with people since we've just started. I'll see how this SB goes and then we can start discussing that. But that's later. (Another thing is that we don't really get to "pair up" for "world guides" or whatever, because there are actually 3 people per each person of that world's element. If we just paired two people up that would leave six others out to fend for themselves. Also, the thing with the sister thing, I wouldn't reccomend getting close with either Dill or Derek, since they already have pretty full back stories. They're going to have to come to terms with that later on as-is. Plus, don't just "attatch" your character to anyone... there needs to be some real chemistry. Meaning, look for something that will bind your character and another character together strongly. Be patient, more people will post soon, and you can get a fuller sense of everyone's characters. ;)

@EloquentDragon:Um.... That's good and all, but all I asked was if one of the guys, either your character or Reise's character, could become friends with my character. I never said anything about a relationship with anyone, or pairing with anyone for anything. If you didn't want to, a simple no would have sufficed......

*thumbs up*

Only, does she ever get to the conference room? And how does the Service help her?

Hardy Boys style? I wasn't going for that. What exactly do you mean though?
