Overall, June 2013 was by far YWS' strongest month this year, and site activity grew by 25% versus May, which is a remarkable jump. This activity seems to have largely manifested itself in two areas: Storybooks and Reviews. Literary works were relatively stable from previous months, and posts in the forums were actually down just a bit from May.
Looking ahead, July is likely to be a little slower if previous years are any guide; on average, site activity declines by about 5% in July versus June. So if the sudden jump in activity caught you off guard, no need to worry! You have at least an entire month to catch your breath.
