I had no idea that you had killed me off. Without asking might I mention. *sigh* @Desticakes101 when will you learn? You even went onto my account and deleted poor Leo. Smh -_-

Leo Westings

"I hurt all over. I've literally just died and your seriously asking me how I feel?" I sigh at Tristan, who's looking at me like i'm a zombie or something.

"Thanks for visiting though Tristy! We both really appreciate it!" Avery says, shooting me a look. I roll my eyes but smile. Although it hurts to be alive again i'm so so so happy. Avery has gained back her memory, and things are just like old times, and she's as snarky as ever. One of the many things I love about her.

"You know, instead of bringing us flowers and balloons and teddy bears, it would be even more appreciated to get that nurse to let us share a bed..." I whisper jokingly at Tristan.

"I can hear you, ya know." Avery says rolling her eyes. "And I don't have the energy or patience to do anything in that sex crazed mind of yours." She then turns her head back to the large television in our shared room.

"Goddamn you two sound like an old married couple. And why is this room more like a hotel suite than an actual room?" Tristan says looking around the room. He has a point. The room is large with its own full kitchen, full computer desk, jacuzzi in the bathroom along with the vichi shower, and even a side room for guest, its almost too much. Avery raises her king sized hospital bed with her remote and then shrugs at Tristan.

"My dad set us up. He literally cried when he saw us, awake and semi-functioning, and after all of the emotions and such he ordered the doctors to transfer us to the Greenwich, which is how we ended up here. I hate coming here, the people are so snooty and self entitled. Its disgusting." Avery shrivels up her cute little nose, which is bandaged and bruised since the accident. Her whole upper body is covered in bruises and deep scratches, and her arm is in a sling since being broken, but she still appears cute and gorgeous. My right leg is broken but other than that i'm fine. What killed me were my heart problems. I was born with a weak heart, so when my rib cage shattered and punctured my heart, it just stopped beating until the doctors did whatever they do. Its still an actual mystery what killed Avery, but doctors are just choosing to blame it on her recent operation. But shes okay now, which is most important.

"Goodmorning..." Kristin yawns as she comes in from the guest room. Her, Alosha, and the twin have been staying in there since we transferred. It makes Avery feel safe, and frankly, I enjoy having Alosha around. She's hilarious and never ceases to make me laugh. At the moment she clean and peering seductively over Kristins shoulder, watching Tristan like a nice piece of meat. Kristin looks back at Alosha, rolls her eyes, and then climbs into Averys bed. Although Avery is tiny, she almost looks like a big sister to Kristin as she automatically puts an arm around her cousins shoulder. If possible they've gotten closer since the incident.

"Tristan...theres a... um spider on the ceiling in here that i'd really appreciate you taking care of if you don't mind..." Alosha asks innocently from behind her fall of ebony hair. Tristan looks back at me for confirmation and I just shrug. I watch as Alosha closes the door and winks at Kristin before locking the door.

"Just keep it quiet!" Kristin yells at Alosha before turning her head to look at Avery "Did you have a nice sleep Avey? I heard you having a nightmare last night, and I got up to check on you, but by the time I opened the door you were quiet." Kristin asks, worriedly looking at Avery. Avery just smiles and uses her good hand to poke Kristins cheek adoringly.

"I'm fine. Probably just your imagination." Avery says, and hugs her cousin close. Kristin just nods and watches the T.V. Suddenly theres a hard stern knock.

" Come in Dr.Mentis!" I call out. A women who looks more like she should be a model than a doctor walks in. She's tall and slender, with a dancers figure, and long wavy pitch black hair and clear blue aqua eyes. She smiles first at Avery then at me, then at Avery again. I'm pretty sure that she's a lesbian, by the way.

"They're here to see you again." She says, her sing song voice pointed directly at Avery.

"Well i'd kind of-" Avery begins but both Kristin and I cut her off at the same time.

"No! Tell them to go away!" We both yell at the same time. Avery shakes her head and rolls her eyes.

"As you wish..." The doctor says again, this probably becoming a pattern for her.

"You guys know that i'll have to face them both at some point." Avery says condescendingly " And by then, they'll think that I hate them. Which I don't. I've actually forgiven them both." Avery turns her head away and looks out of the window.

"Will has hurt you one too many times. I don't want him anywhere near you V." I say belligerently.

"Not to mention that they both thought that you were trying to kill both you and Leo, Will has called you crazy on too many occasions to count, and Lena...well..." Kristin begins twirling a strand of long blond hair around her finger. "I just don't like the bitch." Avery rolls her eyes but giggles a bit.

"Forgive and forget K. The past is the past. And Will...well...honestly he knows that I had severe memory loss at the time, so I deserve a pardon for that one. I honestly truly did not go crazy bitch on him though. He keeps making me feel like I did but...I didn't. I begged him to stay with me, and dumped him for Tristan but is that truly the Crazy obsessive bitch he's making me out to be? I think that he's mistaking me with Sarah. All I did was cry, and scream hysterically at people..." By the time Avery finishes both me and Kristin are cracking up.

"Whatever the reason," I say, wiping a tear from my eye " He's not good for you. Neither is Lena. And although you claim to have forgiven them I don't want them around my wife." I shrug.

"I'm too weak to argue with you now but later..." she yawns adorably "we'll talk about this later." She says, and proceeds to pass out. Suddenly theres a huge moan from the other side of the guest room door. Kristin rolls her eyes.

"I'm actually gonna get to sleep too." I say grimacing at the noise.

"You both suck." Kristin says cuddling closer to Averys body and continuing to watch t.v. I shake my head, and then just close my eyes.

I was washing the dishes when suddenly...

"Will! Oh my God! WILL!" Lena yelled from upstairs.

She started to run down the stairs and through the hallway then finally he reached the kitchen. I turned my head and saw tears running down her face with a huge smile. These were happy tears. Why was she this happy?

Turning off the sink, I walked up to her and smiled.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"They're alive,"

It took me a second to process what was happening. Who was alive. There was a funeral set up for Ave and Leo already so, their death was final. She looked me over and shook her head.

"No Will, Avery and Leo are alive."

"How in the world? Lena, your hopes are getting too high. Imagination is not good for you." I patted her shoulder.

"No, seriously. Kristin just left us a message."

"To play with us maybe. You know her." I huffed.

"Will! I'm serious! They are alive. The doctors diagnosed wrong. They woke up, it was just a short coma."

I pulled my phone from my pocket and dialed up the hospital. Lena wasn't sure what I was doing. I waited a few rings then someone answered.

"Hello, Mystic Memorial Hospital?"

"Yes, hi. This is William Franco, I was wondering about Avery Pi-- I mean, Westings state."

Now Lena knew, smiling. It was just waiting for now.

"Avery Westings has been discharged and sent to another hospital."

"So that means she was alive?"

With a huff, she replied. "Yes,"

"Okay, thanks so much."

Hanging up, I slid my phone back into my pocket. I couldn't believe that happiness that rose in me, it was wild. All I could do was smile and hug Lena as tightly as I could. She started to wriggle around, trying to get out of my hug.

"Too tight, too tight!" she said.

Pulling away, we looked at each other.

"She didn't say anything about Leo though." I sighed.

"It's in the case. Avery and Leo are always together safe." She smiled.

***

So, we tried to visit them. The first try, was a definite no. The second, another no. Understandable. She may hate me for all I know. But why hate me when I was the one who saw them on the side of the road and saved them? I did all my might.

We were standing in the fancy waiting room again. the people knew us by now. They gave us sorry expressions and whispered to each other. We were the enemy really. So thank Ave for that. I surely owe you one. Even though I saved your life and whatnot.

I tried to sit comfortably in the claw-footed-couch, but it was just too damn hard. So, I sat on the edge of it, leaning my elbows on my knees. Lena was managing fairly well.

"You two are here to see The Westings?" A nurse came up to us. She looked like any normal nurse, except for the huge amount of make-up.

Walking into here felt like I didn't belong. There's another reason Avery and I didn't work out. I didn't work well with the rich.

"Yes," I smiled, sitting up.

"I'll go ask right now." She smiled, a bit of pity shaping her face.

Once she got away, I turned to Lena. She had a disgusted face on. We felt the same way.

"I can't stand being here Lee." I huffed.

"Neither can I, I can't exactly blend in. I feel like I should've put on something Prada instead of my jeans and T-shirt."

I just nodded, agreeing with her. After a few minutes, the nurse came back with the same expression she always gives us. So, we knew already and got up and got ready to leave.

"Wait," she said.

We stood in front of her, sliding on our coats. Looking at her, I still caught the pity shaping her eyes. Rich people gave a two shits about us, normal middle class ones.

"What?" I hissed.

She hesitated, "If you be nice, I'll let you two into the room."

"What." I was in shock.

"Just, hush-hush about it. Come along."

Hesitantly, we followed after her through corridors and elevators. Finally, reaching the fifth floor, the elevator opened to a wide lobby. There are only tow doors in the area. She leads us to one of them and goes to knock the door.

"Wait," I whisper.

She turns on her hell and looks at us.

"I don't know if this is a good idea. They don't want to see us. It'll be too stressful on them." I explained.

"Yeah, it could make Avery worse." Lena added.

The nurse shook her head and got near us.

"You may think I don't know what I'm doing, I do know. I'm their nurse. My life ain't easy. I'm not like these people, okay? I'm like you. And I recommend you go visit them. They certainly need it." she said.

Lena and I looked at each other for a brief second then shrugged our shoulders. Looking back at the nurse, she was headed for the door.

I took Lena's hand and followed her. She knocked, introduced herself then opened the door. I swallowed hard and followed after, ready for the death of us.

After that day, I couldn't stop thinking about Kristin. Even with this horrible event, it was all I could think about. Kristin. Kristin. Kristin.

I was logged onto Yahoo! when I saw the news. Avery and Leo survived. They were up on there because of the fact, she was one of the richest people in Connecticut. Her father sent them to this fancy hospital. Damn. Lucky them. I'm happy they're actually okay. Kristin would be so happy.

My heart lept at the thought of her. Suddenly, I realized. I wasn't thinking about Jane. I was over Jane. No way. I couldn't be over her. But yet, I am.

"Oliver! You left your phone downstairs and someone's been ringing!" my mother called from downstairs.

Rolling my eyes, I got out of my room and down the short amount of steps. I reached the kitchen and saw mum smiling as she read her book. She was on the bar stools, her normal morning routine. Coffee, book, kitchen. It was her thing.

FInding my phone next to her, I took it and saw Kristin's name. She's been thinking about me? Hasn't she? I'm surely a thinking matter. God, my cocky side is kicking in. Another missed call, Jane. Whatever. And then another from my boss, Frankie. Gotta ring him up first.

"Frankie, hey, It's Oliver." I said into the phone. My mother eyes me then realized, it was my boss, and she went back to her book.

I leaned against the island as I waited for his reply.

"Yeah, Oliver." He was form New York, cue New-York-accent. "You've worked over the over-time limit. So, have a nice two days off!"

"What?" I was surprised.

"You've worked too much man, you understand, right?"

"Yeah, yeah, sure. Thanks, I guess."

"No problemo! Have a nice time, and if you wanna hang with this guy, hit me up! Cheers."

"Cheers."

I hung up, realizing he caught the English bug. Cheers. Wow. I get around. This time I dialed up Jane.

"Hello?" I heard a man's voice.

"Uh, hello." I started, confused. "This is Oliver, is Jane there?"

"Yeah, why?"

Oh shit. That was her boyfriend. Emmett.

"Look, Emmett. I don't mean to say anything, out-of-hand, she just called me so I wanted to know why. That's all." he had an eye on me.

"Sure, I'll ask."

A few seconds and he was back.

"She just wanted to say she was really sorry, but no."

"What? That makes no sense?"

"She makes no sense Oli." he laughed. "So, sorry then. Gotta go!"

And he was gone. Now it was Kristin's turn, I held my breath and dialed her up. A few rings and then came up an answer.

Kristin

"Hello?" I yawn into the phone. Thank god I kept it in my pocket, and not the bedside table. This thing vibrates loud as all types of hell, and Avery is sleeping beside me while Leo is passed out on the other bed. Its even gotten quiet in the guest room.

"Kristin? Hey its-" He begins but I cut him off with an excited squeak.

"Oliver? Hi! Hold on for one sec, I think that I should step outside." I jump out of Avery's bed and quietly sneak outside. Just to find Will and Lena , with the nurse that Alosha can't stand, right in front of the door. I think that the woman is fine, it's just that Alosha is so...stuck up. Before its never really bothered me but now...I just don't like it.

"I'll call you back in five minutes." I whisper to Oliver, before quickly hanging up on him. "What are you guys doing here?" I ask, a scowl beginning to settle on my face. My god...i've really gotta get out of here. I've never frowned this much in my life.

"We're here to see Avery and Leo." Will says, standing in the front of the trio.

"Have you not heard? They don't want to see you, and I won't let you in." I say standing in front of the door and closing it behind me. Since the accident i've been so protective of Avery that at the thought of any threat coming to her, my adrenaline begins pumping and I feel the strong urge to punch someone in the face. I'm not normally this violent but...she almost died.

"I don't think that you can really speak for them Ms.Kristin." The nurse says. Okay, now I can see why Alosha doesn't like her. "And if I feel that letting these two in will help them...than i'm doing my job." she says lifting her chin up in confidence. Okay, don't blame me for this please. But this bitch really felt that she had the right to say what my cousin needed. Um no. Time to remind her who she is.

"Okay, Nurse Hadley, let me please remind you that one, you are not they're doctor. I don't see Dr. Mentis anywhere near. And she's the one who gets to call the shots on the two of them. Not you. I could get you fired if I wanted to." I say looking her up and down. Not that I really would. Seriously. I mean I could if I wanted to by calling Uncle Adriaan, but... i'm not that much of a bitch. I just don't want anyone to threaten my cousin. I watch as she pales and starts backing away from the door. Thats when Will and Lena step up.

"We are the ones who saved their lives you know." Lena says with a sneer. I roll my eyes at her. Okay, I don't mind tearing this bitch down a few notches. I've never liked her ass anyways. Before I can say something Will quickly speaks up.

"We have every right to see them Kristin. Lena's right, we did save them." Will says rolling his eyes.

"Your also the ones who would keep breaking her heart in the worst of ways and then blame her for it afterwards. Honestl-" I'm cut off by Avery from inside

"Kristi! I'm thirsty! Do you mind getting me some water?" Avery calls out. Seriously V? Did you have to wake up right then? I sigh and turn back to Lena and Will.

"Okay, you guys can come in for a few minutes, but the second you start upsetting her i'm calling security." I sigh again and then let them in.

Avery

"What were you doi-" I begin, but am cut off by Kristin walking in and looking at me apologetically as Will and Lena walk in, hand in hand.

"Um...hey Avery. How are you feeling?" Will says, breaking the awkward silence, while looking pretty awkward himself.

"Pretty good. As good as a girl could feel after being dead for an hour and a half." I say with a chuckle. When I look up I notice that its only Kristin who's hiding a giggle.

"Um guys...that was a joke." I say with one eyebrow raised at the pair. At that exact moment they start fakely laughing, so i just sit there and watch them. I watch as Lena clears her throat and then looks up at me with tear filled eyes.

"Avery I really thought that...well...that you had..." She begins crying harder and harder as she continues. Oh god... a tearfest. The exact thing I was hoping to avoid.

"That I had died and went to a stiletto filled heaven?" I say trying to lighten the mood but she continues crying, and Will puts an arm around her shaking body. I sigh and then look at Kristin. All she does is nod and goes into the guest room.

"You guys can have a seat." I say with a nod towards the comfy La z boy next to the television. They sit and then I sigh again. "I don't hate you two. I'm actually really appreciative for what you two did for both me and Leo." I tell them both with a smile.

"So why did you refuse to see us?" Will asks,a confrontational glint in his eyes. I raise an eyebrow at him.

"Will you should know better than anybody that i'm not one to ignore a problem. I'd rather just face it head on. Both Leo and Kristin didn't want you up here. Frankly, I couldn't give two shits." I say shrugging. Will seems to be processing that when Lena gets up and walks towards the side of my bed.

"I want us to be friends again, Ave. I miss you so much..." She puts a soft hand on my one functioning arm.

"I'm sorry Lena but...no. I've gained back my full memory from a concussion in the accident, and although I don't hate you, I truly don't like you much, either. Your a sweet girl but...I was in love with Will. and instead of just paying attention to Chris you chose to let your feelings grow for my boyfriend. I may be a lot of things, but I can never be called a homewrecker. But its not all you, it's Will too. So although I owe you guys my life I...I just don't want to have any contact with you." I grab the bottle of water from my bedside table.

"You were the one who chose to get crazy after we broke up Avery." Will says, getting up to hug Lena who's crying even harder now.

"I didn't though. I broke up with you to date Tristan. And then I tell you about your kids. And then I got married. And then I lost my memory. Where in any of that did I go batshit." I shake my head " Just leave please. I have physical therapy soon." I say and turn on the T.V. As soon as they're out I take a deep breath and pick up the hospital phone.

"Never let those two in here again. Or else I promise you that i'll shut this whole place down." And then I hang up without listening for a response.

William Franco

So that's when I realized. People were never going to understand anything. Ever. The thing is that...

I never cheated on Avery. I broke up with her and moved. I didn't get with Lena right away. I actually thought I'd never be with her. I kept my feelings to myself even though they were visible. I didn't let them take me over though. When I was with Avery, I was with Avery. And that's that. I waited for Lena. And then she goes out and has my children. Please. I would've helped, if she only told me earlier, like, before they were born so we could work things out. Another thing, she got married. She found someone to be with her and the children. So why did she push for me so much.

Yes, of course. I was always part of the problem. I fell for Lena. But that's not my fault, it just happened. But, the thing was, I broke off things with Avery when I knew things with Lena were serious. I moved away from her. I didn't want the children, cause well, she already had someone that would love the children. And that just wasn't me. She should've understood.

Ever being with Avery was a mistake.

She literally ruined my life.

"Will, why are you doing this?" Lena asked, exhausted.

We are at my uncle's place. It's been a few days past the visit to the hospital and Lena still hasn't stopped crying. She's really upset. Her eyes are red now from the hour of tear-festing.

"Because." I sighed. "I'm sick of my life. Everyone hates me and everything is my fault. People don't understand the truth."

I was packing my stuff into suitcases, taking everything I had brought with me from California. My uncle is even letting me take Roxi.

"But that doesn't mean you could leave me."

Looking at her, I saw the sorrow hitting home again.

"Babe, I already ruined your life. Look! You lost your best friend because of me. Your boyfriend. An amazing guy, and he's totally gone now. What happened to him anyway? You're not having a good life Lee."

She stood up and walked toward me. Placing her hand on my chest, I felt my heart race. The closer she got, the happier I was. But all she did was keep that distance. Her hand on my chest, running it up and down.

"The thing is, I don't regret wanting you. I don't regret having you. Avery, yeah, you always choose your best friends over your boyfriends... or best-friends-boyfriends, but this time... it's different, she's different." A sigh. "I don't know Will. She used to be different. Back in middle school..."

She looked up at me, her blue eyes staring into mine. The way she made me feel was incredible.

"Back in middle school I used to have this huge crush on you" A laugh came from her, a soft one. "And she knew... she made fun of me for it, but then in the eighth grade, she started to like you. She told me you were off limits. I had mentioned that I felt that way, but she didn't care much. After eighth grade, my relationship with you was never possible because you were like in love with her, remember?"

Her fingers were tracing pictures into my chest as she spoke. It made me calm and very happy. I couldn't help but smile. But the words she said hit a spot which made everything painful.

"Yeah, I was head over heels for Ave. I told you actually, didn't I? I was asking you if you could ask Avery if she'd want to go to the seventies dance with me? Yeah! Damn... that was a long ago." I smiled at the thought.

"Young love, aye?"

"Yeah... no wonder you didn't go to the dance. You didn't want to see me with her."

She simply nodded and pulled away, sitting on my bed. I followed her, and sat down as well, sinking into the mattress. A short pause passed us as we just sat there, thinking, or rather, remembering.

"The fact that she knew the entire time though. She knew I liked you!" She said.

"It was middle school..." I smiled.

"And high school."

"What."

"Yeah."

"Since when."

She faced me, giving me a look. I shut my face and listened.

"Ever since sixth grade, I had a thing for you. But, when I met Chris, it all seemed to dissapear. I was happy to finally have gotten over you, cause well, you and Avery were a thing since forever. Her transition with Allen was nothing, trust me.She was always gushing about you Will. So anyway," she took a breath. "When I met Chris, you disspeared. I had someone to love other than you, and it was great, I'll tell you that."

Somehow, that hurt me, everywhere. But I picked myself up and listened to every word she spoke.

"I wasn't going to wait forever on you, you know? So I moved on. And then you through this phase where you like me. Now that hurt me way more than you could possibly imagine, Will! It was random and it hit all the right buttons. It reminded me of middle school."

Emmett

I look at her, this girl that I love, and I realize how well I know her. I know the look in her eyes, the way the wind whips her hair around, and I know what she is going to do. She is an open book to me now, leaving everything a child’s puzzle. If I think back to the mysterious girl with the long hair, someone so broken, I knew I would not be able to find her. I tore that girl apart, and then I fixed her.

That’s what I try to tell myself, anyway.

The car’s rush by us, none of them paying us any mind. We are two small blips of their lives, odd kids on the side of the road whose faces will only reappear when needed in dream.

“If he’s nothing, then why is he still here?”

Jane looks at me, soft and sad. “It’s not like I want him here. He has a mind of his own. I know him, Emmett. He’ll move on. Oliver will go back to Europe or find someone new; they all do.”

It makes me sad to realize she’s talking from experience. Every other guy she’s ever fallen for left, moved on, or did enough to force her to get away. “Except for me.”

“Except for you,” she confirms, and it warms my heart as much as it shreds it to pieces and leaves it on the highway.

“You can’t just keep doing this, you know. You can’t just keep running away from your problems and expecting me to follow you. I have a life too. A life that matters to me. Friends who don’t understand how I can just go and follow you anywhere. You need to know that.” Jane is quiet, and I feel as though I have been harsh. I reach out the window, pushing back a piece of hair. ”Look, Jane-“

“You’re right. You have commitments too. I understand that. I don’t really know anything else, but that doesn’t mean-“

“ That doesn’t mean I won’t come with you.”

“ I know that, too.”

“Can I drop my car off?”

She gives me that smile, the one I hope Oliver will never possess. “Sure. We’ve got time.”

_____________________________________

It is a long road to New York, but Jane lets me drive. Oliver is forgotten as she sings to me, but the piles of homework and the life I left behind still linger in my mind.

“How long are we going to stay for?” I ask. We are in New York State.

Jane turns down the radio, chewing the last of her chips into splintered oblivion. “I dunno. A week, maybe.”

“My break ends next Monday. I was thinking three days.”

“Six”

“I haven’t seen Lacey very much. Four Days.”

“I haven’t seen my Mom very much. Five.”

I sigh. “Okay, fine. Five is it though. The absolute maximum.”

“Okay.”

We still have an hour until we reach Jane’s Mom’s Apartment, and it’s a quiet hour. After some city driving, Jane gives me the address. We drive into a dark alleyway, criss-crossed paths and shabby apartments.

“This can’t be the right place.”

I look at the address, written in neat lettering on my hand, and pull up to a shabby apartment complex. A woman came flying out.

“Jane!”

“I think it is.” I mutter to myself.

Hope this is okay.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

We were here. But it wasn't what I expected. It was the shady part of New York. all the middle-class people stuffed themselves in here. New York wasn't the cleanest city, but when you saw this part of the city, you thought it was the most disgusting place in the world. Even Emmett didn't want to get out of the car.

Eventually, we got out and hugged my mother. I knew Emmett had better things to do than be with me here, I mean all of his homework and such, but he was such a good guy. He wanted to be with me.

Her apartment was alright. There were two bedrooms, a small living room combined with a kitchen and one bathroom. She also had a tiny balcony. I actually didn't think she'd want any pets, but guess what, there was a black cat in the house. She named her Jo. The apartment had a homey feel with her modern yet vintage style.

"Baby, I'm so happy you're here... and you brought Emmy! this makes me so happy!" my mother squeezed my cheeks and smiled.

"It's great to see you too Ms. Wills," Emmett gave her a small smile.

Emmett and I sat down on her soft, tan couch. It seemed like everything here was brand new. She fit in well. My mother walked into the kitchen and did some things. Once she came back, she was holding two mugs of what I believe was tea. Handing it to Emmett and I, I was right. Tea it was.

"So Jane, I just got a job at Hermione's! She's this grand designer in uptown." She gushed, sipped her own tea.

Placing my mug on coffee table and smiled. "Congrats mom! That's amazing!" I stood up, hugging her tightly.

Her coffee table happened to be an old vintage suitcase. There was a dark brown tint on it. This was so my mom's place. She loved vintage things.

Once I pulled away and sat back down next to Emmett.

***

I got out of the bathroom, wrapping my hair into a towel. The apartment was lit with lamps as the time passed nine PM. It was dark outside.

"Am I still the bad guy Lee Lee?" I ask Leo, as we walk through a trail Kristin found a few days ago. He puts an arm around me, and pulls me close.

"No," He says, kissing the top of my head "if anything, I'm probably the bad guy." He says looking ahead, at nothing. I looked down at his leg. Although he had a slight limp, I was amazed at how quickly his leg had recovered. My arm was still in a cast sadly. I shake my head and smile up at him.

"Your not even capable of being the bad guy. Your too sweet." I kiss his hand, letting my lips linger on his warm skin. He smiles down at me and hugs me closer.

"Where is your cousin by the way?" Leo asks, raising an eyebrow. I shrug and smile.

"Probably up to something mischievous." I say. The rest of the walk is just total bliss.

If you want, Kristin can be sneaking around with Oliver @Nike . I'm like really tired and sick right now, so i'll probably make a more detailed and well...overall better post with Avery and Kristin tomorrow or the next day. Have a nice day guys.

Jane Wills

It was the next day and I knew what I had to do. Emmett was always there for me, and I believe it was time I was finally there for him. He did so much, too much. Coming to Germany was enough. He needs to know, I'll return the favor.

"Emm," I whispered.

He rolled around to face me in our bed. Yes. My mother let us sleep together in the guest room. She really believed that if you were together, then be together.

"Five more minutes please, I can never sleep in these days. Let me have this." He said, his voice tired.

I just smiled and cuddled up to him. I wrapped my arms around his sleeping body. As time passed, I let thoughts flood my mind.

"What were you saying?" He asked, his eyes fluttering open.

"You should go home Emmett. Do your homework, I'll be fine with Mom." I said.

He faced me, looking at my face. Concern shaped his eyes.

"I can stay, I don't have a problem staying Jane."

"No, I really want you to go back. You need to do your school stuff. It's great you said you'd come with me, but the fact of the matter is that you really have to go."

I sat up, feeling sadness creep over me. I don't want him to go. I want him to be here with me, forever. But he needs to go. I felt his arms wrap around my body. He placed his head on my shoulder. It made my body all warm and comfortable.

"Alright Janey, I'll leave in the evening. Is that okay?" he whispered into my ear. When his breath touched my skin, I still felt all jumpy and nervous.

"Yeah, take care of your things babe." I smiled, holding his hand.

Oliver Hemingway

"Your last name is Hemingway, am I correct?" Kristin asked.

We were at my house, in my room. She had randomly rang me up, asking to spend some time with me. I, at the moment, was planning my school schedule. So I didn't want to leave home just yet. I picked her up and now we're here.

"Yes." I replied, clicking a few buttons on my laptop.

"Are you in any way related to Ernest Hemingway?" she asked another question.

I clicked print at the top of my screen and waited for the printer to spit out my school schedule. Shutting down my desktop, I faced her and smiled.

"Everyone asks that." I paused. "But yes, I am. He's my great great great great... grandfather."

"That's so awesome!" she jumped on my bed with a huge smile.

Taking the paper from the printer, I placed it in a folder and put it in my desk. My business was done, so I'm going to have some fun now. Damn school is too soon, just two weeks.

"Kristin, I wanna show you something." I said.

***

I parked my car on the side of the road. It was an empty piece of land right next to us. Actually, we were practically in a forest. This was a side road outside of the city, a thirty minute drive. Kristin has been picking the music as we drove, and I couldn't complain. She has good taste.

"So, where are we?" she asked, her accent still provoking my heart to beat like crazy.

Turning my car off, I hoped out of it and Kristin followed. I walked into the forest with my torch. The time was just passing nine at night, so seeing anything was impossible. Her footsteps came from behind me as we walked down into the forest. Rocks crunched under our feet.

I turned on my heel and saw her just behind me. Sticking my hand out toward her, she hesitated, looking from my hand to mine. But, she still took hold of it and walked with me. I flashed the light in front of us. Just as we were going down the familiar path, I remembered a short cut. Taking it, we turned on our right and saw the clearing. This was the first time Kristin has been silent for more than two minutes. It kind of made me frightened, but I knew better. She was wondering in her head what in the hell was I doing.

Once we reached to the clearing, I stopped walking. She came to a halt next to me, us still hand in hand.

"This is where I used to come as a kid when I wanted to be alone." I started. "When I first came into the states, I hated it here. So I wanted some place to be where it reminded me of home. I searched and searched, and finally found this." I was looking at her as she stared at the clearing.

Trees shaped around us, creating a circle opening form above us. You could see that sky, even the stars, like back in England. There were a lot of these places there. Actually, I had one just behind my old house. Flowers were growing from the ground, all different colours that you couldn't see now because of the dark. The grass was all fresh and high up to my knees. There was a big rock in the center of the field, because of me. When I was younger, I found this huge boulder and rolled it here, so I could sit in the middle of the clearing.

I pulled Kristin with me and we sat on the rock. It was just big enough for the both of us and flat enough so we wouldn't slip. The heat made this rock warm, so it was even comfortable.

"You haven't said anything for a very long time, I'm getting worried." I said.

She looked at me, her eyes a little sad. Why. Did I hurt her? Did I say something wrong? Maybe she hated this place? Maybe she was afraid of this place? Maybe she knew what this was and had a bad experience here? I don't know. And I'm over thinking.

She scooted off the rock and stood in front of me. We were know face to face close. The moon's light bounced off her face, giving her a pretty glow. I shut off my torch and stuffed it into my pocket.

"I'm sorry..." She said, looking down at the ground.

"For what?" I asked.

"I just, I don't get this kind of treatment Oliver. No one takes me somewhere that's meaningful to them." she was still looking down, her head hung down so I couldn't see her face.

I reached up and touched her chin, leading her head up to look at mine.

"Better," I smirked. She smiled softly. "I like you, so I want you to see things that are meaningful to me." I added.

A bigger smile crept onto her face when she heard me say that. But then she pulled away form me, giving us a bigger distance. It made me hurt.

"What, did I say something wrong?" I asked, sliding off the rock to get closer to her.

"No," she replied, turning away from me.

"Then, what's...?"

Turning toward me, her face got angry. Shit.

"Oliver, I have a girlfriend. Did you forget already?" She placed her hands on her hips.

I stopped following her and she stopped just a few feet away from me. The way she looked at me though, I could tell something was hurting her.

"I-I'm so so sorry." I said. "I just, I forgot."

She said nothing and just stood there with a blank expression. She's harder to understand than Jane, and that was something I was willing to handle.

But a beat later, she stormed up to me and smashed her lips against mine. Everything in me jumped as we started to make out. Her kisses were passionate and soft. I placed my hands onto her back, pulling her closer to me. I felt her hands go into my hair and start pulling roughly.

Probably the last post before life gets busy again...

Emmett

I left at four o'clock, with a 'thank you Ms.Wills' and a quick peck from Jane. It didn't feel like much of a goodbye, but it wasn't a goodbye for long. I couldn't keep the relief out of my blood stream; I didn't like the way Ms. Will's apartment smelled, and I couldn't keep the wrongness from prickling under my skin. I'm sure I left in far too much of a hurry after Lunch came around, but Jane was right; I had homework to do.

The drive back to school was long and lonely. I keep having to turn up the radio, twiddling my fingers, asking if I did the right thing by Jane (despite the answer being of course, you've done enough by her!) I get to the school and walk back into the dorm.

Mickey, the British one, is laying sprawled across his bed, a laptop laying on his stomach. In a ball next to him is Mia. Her hair is disheveled, and she's wearing pink plaid pajamas. If I know anything about girls, I know that pink pajamas are a comfort move. Jane and my only ex-girlfriend, Amber, both used them as such. Richard, my other room mate, is not around.

Mickey looks up at me, sleep blurring the water in his eyes. "Hey, mate! Didn't expect you for awhile."

I sit down at my desk, tossing my stuff to the ground. "My family is fine. Went on a bit of a road trip with Jane, but she sent me back early for the sake of homework."

Laptop on, scrolling through documents to get to my basic English class essay. Mickey laughs. "She gets you, man, she does."

Neither of us say anything for awhile, the only sound being the clicking of the key boards. After a few paragraphs, I turn to face Mickey. Mia's head as nodded over, resting close to his abdomen. Her dark hair is sprawled across his chest.

"What's up with Mia?"

"Came into the room sobbing a few hours back. She wouldn't talk, just curled up in bed. I just let her. Didn't really know what else to do."

A thought comes to me. "Have you ever considered that she might like you? She's always coming to you when stuff goes wrong."

Mickey looks back at me. "Don't be an idiot. She's still in love with Richie, you know that. Besides-"

"Crazy isn't your type. Yeah, I know. I don't know. She just seems really attached to you."

"What do you know about woman?"

"Asks the guy who hasn't had a steady girlfriend to the one in a well-functioning relationship."

Mickey snorts. "Right, sorry." He looks over at her. "I don't know. I just don't know."

I let it be at that.

_______________________

I wake up the next morning to my phone ringing.

I sit up from my bed, groggily and zombie-like. I see, out of the corner of my eye, that Mickey has curled up around Mia, a tangled mass of limbs. I reach over to the desk and flip open my phone.

"Hello?"

"Son?" It's Dad, and that jolts me into awareness. My father never calls unless something important has happened. "Where are you?"

"School."

"Good." His voice sounds stuffy, plugged. "You need to come home, right now."

"Dad? What's wrong?"

He makes a hiccup sound, and I realize that my Dad is crying. My heart sinks. "There was an accident. Son, I just need you to come home."

"Okay. Okay, Dad, I will."

I hang up on my Dad, and grab my suitcase, never unpacked from New York. My mind is racing with dozens of possibilities. Lacey and the baby! Grandma, she's so old now. Mia looks up at me.

"Emmett?"

"Go back to sleep, Mia."

She looks around, looks at Mickey, and blushes. "Something's wrong, with you, though."

"I have to go home. Tell Mickey. And Richard." Her face pales. "I don't know when I'll be back."

She nods. "I hope everything's okay, Emmett."

"Me too."

I walk out of that dorm knowing that everything is not.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

Hi, you guys!
So, we've got some bad news and good news.
ChocoCookie has almost left YWS. Of course, she'll come in some time but that won't be for another 2 months.

So, she's allowed me to take over Lena and Allen. And obviously, I'll be handling Elise.

This is going to be fun. ^^ Though, I do wish Cookie was here. :(

Welps...thats fine I guess, although she'll be severely missed. HH has been running pretty slow though sadly. I feel like I should make a post but... i don't know what. It seemed easier when they were back in High school since they had to see each other every day. But now...it's all bleh. In my opinion we should start doing the second generation of our characters.

"So... this is where you've been living?" Lena asked.

It ends up, the week after we did actually leave. To California. It was a three hour flight with an hour drive from the airport to my apartment, but God was it worth it. Everything stayed the same. All my furniture untouched. Everything untouched.

"Yeah, you like?" I replied, placing my bag down into my room.

This apartment consisted of two rooms, one being a bedroom and the other a living room. A separate kitchen and full bath. I had a small balcony right off the kitchen. Everything was modern yet homey. I had soft couches, fabric not leather, a tan fabric. Flat screen television. My bedroom had an IKEA bed made out of some dark wood and my posters. It felt like I brought myself from my old place to here.

"It's nice." she smiled.

I helped get her bag into my room and let her tour around. The time was around a quarter after nine at night, so we were headed to bed soon.

***

After we got ourselves settled, we slept. It was a long day moving and stuff, so we even slept in a few hours. I woke up first, stretching out but not waking up Lena. I took care of myself in the bathroom and got dressed.

Looking at myself in the mirror, I couldn't help but notice that I was actually smiling for no reason at all. I was just smiling. I never just smiled. It was an instinct today, it looked sort of funny, but it was nice.

"Will! Where did you go?" I heard Lena.

My blue eyes glistened at the sound of her voice and my cheekbones moved up higher. It was her.

Stepping out of the bathroom, I saw Lena sitting up in the bed, rubbing her eyes. She looked so cute. I walked up to her and sat down on the bed. Running my hand down her back, I pulled her into me and she just got comfortable, laying on me. Her head was on my shoulder and her whole body leaned against mine.

"Let's go eat something, huh?" I whispered.

"Your breath smells so good, I got to go wash! I probably reek like a sewer!" she smiled, looking up at me.

I lean into her, kissing her lips softly. "You could never reek Lena."

"Oh you're just saying that. Everyone reeks in the morning."

She jumped off the bed and rushed to the bathroom. I got off as well and made the bed, folding and pulling to make the bed clean. Right when that was finished, I grabbed my house keys and my phone, sliding them into my jean pockets. It was about ten minutes of waiting, but Lena finally came out, ready. She threw on a beautiful red floral dress that made her look like California was her home. I smiled. She smiled. Everything was right.

"Shall we?" I asked, holding her soft hand.

"Course," she squeezed my hand in reply.

***
It was this diner that lay on the beach. We were sitting on the porch, chewing our pancakes. They served everything here. But since it was twelve at noon, their special was brunch. You could see the waves crashing against the shore, smell the water. Well, we were right on the beach, so you'd know. The sand was nearly under our feet, if it weren't for the wooden planked porch/ A few people were around us, enjoying themselves, but the most were on the beach. People were swimming, tanning, playing games, reading, all sorts of stuff. And there was no ending it. Jst a bunch of people everywhere.

"Will? Is that you?!" I heard a familiair voice say.

Turning my head, I caught sight of Kim. My breath caught in my throat when I saw her. Just seeing her made me a bit nervous. It's been a few months and she was my friend. My only friend during that time. She even gave me benefits when needed .So, it was a little worrisome to have her here with Lena.

"Kim, aye!" I smiled, putting down my fork.

She walked up to us in her one piece stripped bathing suit. Practically everyone in Cali wears bathing suits no matter what, but it was uniform for her since she was a lifeguard.

"This must be Lena, am I correct?" She asked once she was at our table.

"Yes, Lena this is Kim, Kim, this is Lena." I said.

"Nice to met you Kim," Lena replied with a soft smile.

"Nice to meet you too!" Kim was more excited than Lena was.

Kim pulled her thick black hair into a ponytail as she kept her smile on. You could tell she was genuinely happy to see us by the glow in her tan face and flicker in her almost purple eyes.

"So, you finally back from the East Coast?" she asked.

"Obviously Kim," I said. "That's why we're here."

"Lena, I don't know how you deal with this." Kim joked.

Lena gave a soft chuckle in reply while Kim sort of blew up laughing. This was awkward and I had no idea how to fix it.

"Lee, I met Kim at my job actually. She was one of the models and water safety people." I said.

Lena smiled, looking at Kim. "That sounds interesting. Are you originally from Cali?" she finally spoke.

"Nah, I'm from France. But I moved here when I was five... so I don't know if that actually counts. I can speak French and everything, but I'm more American."

"Wow, you're French? That's so nice." Lena said.

"I didn't even know that." I smiled.

Jane Wills

As I was riding down Central Park on my penny board, I listened to some Led Zeppelin. People were around me, minding their own business. I didn't focus on anyone but the road and myself. I managed to curve around, stop, and even pick up the board and walk, without bothering anyone.

"CANDY! ANYONE WANT CANDY?!" someone yelled from my side.

Slipping off my left earphone, I turned and saw a candy stand with a woman inside it. Damn, she was loud. And she wouldn't stop yelling. Was this New York or was it just me? Like, was New York loud or was I just not used to it? I put my earphone back on and continued my way through the beautiful park.

There were trees everywhere. You felt like you were in an actual forest, Like you weren't even in New York City. Or even in the city center! You felt secluded and amazing. I can't believe this kind of place even exists.

My phone vibrated in my pocket, so I came to a halt and answered it, hitting the music to pause.

"Hey," I said.

"Jane! I'm home from work! What do you want for dinner?" My mom asked,

This is what it's been like for the past week living with my mother. She went to work, I did whatever. Or when she had a day off, we spent time together. It was good.

"Um, I don't know."

"Whatever?" My mom said.

"Ever what," I smiled. "No, Just make whatever."

"Like always, Jane! Give me something you wanna eat!" I can hear the smile in her voice.

"Ma, whatever."

"Ever what," Now she mocked me.

I grabbed the board and slipped it under my armpit, carrying it. It was time to head home anyway, so I followed the path of gravel to my left.

"How about lasagna?" I tried.

"Great idea Janey. I'm right on it, see you home soon?"

"Headed now ma! Love ya!"

"Love you too!"
