Should I?

hey, didnt know which room to post in so I'm putting it in. So, I'm writting a few books, but my best one at the moment, I was wondering if I should post it.
It's a fighting novel, sort of, not positive excatly what is yet. only on chapter three, including prologue.
I like criticism, but I'm scared that people will hate it. So should I post it here? If I do then I won't be posting straight away, becasue I haven't got to much.
So what do you think?

Don't think about what you're doing: Just post it.

I was terrified when I posted my first piece. Terrified. But it really turned out all right! Nobody was mean . . . they were critical, but not hateful.

Remember: Even if your work isn't specifically 'liked', you still have space for growth! If you post it I GUARANTEE that your work will improve DRAMATICALLY should you follow advice! One day your work will be, not only good, but GREAT!

A writer, like anyone else, has to always understand that they have space for getting better. If you say you're an expert, it proves that you're not!

Not only is it a good idea to post it for the (constructive)criticism you will receive but its also just plain healthy to share your works. I still struggle very much with "closet writing" but its not good for any writer. You have to share whats inside you, you have to share what you've created, otherwise what is the point?

I say that you should post it. If you're this self conscious over your work than you must have put your heart and soul in it and something that is that important to you cannot suck. It cannot be terrible. It cannot be bad. It can be nothing short of phenomenal because when someone cares about something, it becomes something magical and it shows in every single word etched into every single sentence.
