Bonjour, fellow YWS people! :D

To try something new and exciting, I have had the idea to post a series on YWS called: "The Day Before." It is about a 15 year old who does not know where he is or how he got there, but only that he is traveling backwards in time. Each day that passes turns out to be the day before for him, and each day reveals and solves more and more mysteries.

I was thinking of posting this almost like in episodes, sort of like a TV show. I would post one a week until some sort of "season finale." My concern is if it will be worth my efforts. Will people actually continue and follow the episodes, or is there so much on YWS that they would not feel like having the time to do so? :?:

Like I said, it's just an idea. If you think it could work, please tell me! 8)

I think this could work. We had one member do this previously and it went very well.

The trick is keeping people interested. To do this, constantly engage with the people who read and comment on your work. Say "Thank you" a lot, and take what they say into consideration. Then when you post a new episode, send them a PM letting them know and asking if they'd be so very kind to read & comment again.

Also, start a club for it and try to get a few people to follow it. That way, when you post a new episode, you can announce it via the club.

I was actually about to do the same thing with one of my stories. Nate, I think you commented on a wall post about it might being to graphic. It's a great idea, just remember to keep each story short, and people will follow it.
