We should follow the plot line of Jackson sending a note to Aris later that night to meet in the tower to dance. After they finish dancing in the early morning, They return to their chambers. I think Briac and Jackson recognize each other at that point.
So basically, get ready to wrap up the ball soon, but not quite yet. Get your characters to know each other more.

I was thinking, about doing a couple soldiers that bodyguard the princesses. If its chill of course. A guard from each kingdom guarding that princess. If its all right, cause this sounds interesting. The guards would interact, and possibly be friends with the princesses. Its fine if you dont like the idea.

Briac being an adult doesn't need a baby sitter, nor much of a guard but like Agust he is a soldier so he probably would be friendly with the bodyguard- as long as the bodyguard didn't try to smother him, Briac likes to take the falls for his mistakes- thus the missing limbs. Lol.
Saja on the other hand is 15 and as innocent as the day is long. she WOULD need protection as the girl has NO sense of danger and would walk right into a den of thieves (metaphorically speaking) without a second thought. also the fact she is mute IS a handicap to her no matter how hard she fights for it not to be. So that guard will probably have his/her work cut out. XD
