I know it seems like the SB is going slow and there's no action, but Chiron has an announcement for everyone at the campfire tonight (and it's a good one). The monster attacking camp does sound cool though.

And remember that there are so many other things at camp that you can do. There may not be much training on you first day back, but after this day is over, you could send your characters to archery or sword fighting. Volleyball matches are always good too. Explore the camp! I'm sure you'll find a bunch of fun.

But I also think all of the other ideas are brilliant, but in the right time. And Daemon might be willing to join the quest, if the other Juggernaut doesn't want to.
I admit the idea of of having the camp attacked does sound like a good motive to get people to post. Honestly, I was excited when I read BlackNether's post, I was mentally polishing my character's weapons and ready to get them into the fight. I was kinda disappointing when it was quickly ended with Argus :/

Also, another important thing to add, The day is going by really fast in the SB, some people don't even have their starting post up and it's already bedtime. Some people didn't get a chance to finish the scene that their characters are in because it went from morning to afternoon to night in a matter of four posts. Lets take the time to enjoy our first day! Meet some people, have back and forth conversations, cause some trouble. LENGTHEN the scenes to more than just one post. We're supposed to be going directly off of the post in front of us, and that's kind of hard when people are jumping hours.

Yeah, I mean, I know it's annoying when SBs don't move forward at all.. but at the same time at least in the beginning can we please have a chance to post?? I got on yesterday and had 52 notifications- all from the SB or the DT. Today I got on and had 21. There are a lot of people in the SB, so rather than having a few people totally take over, can we let everyone at least get one post in? The days will last longer because there are so many characters. If you've got twenty characters you can't have a day end in only four posts. make sense?
I hope I don't sound mad, it's just a little chaotic to not even get a chance to post...

I think it's ok if people post a lot in one day, heck, the more the merrier (to an extant, of course. I'm not encouraging spamming). What I'm saying is, time is going by way too fast in the SB day. Slow it down a little bit, there's a lot of gaps of what went on in the day. Let's not go from early morning to late afternoon in between two posts

Yeah slow your guys role, I've only posted once so far, and I had planned for Gemini to make her full return to Camp at Dinner with her announcement she will be taking over the Zeus cabin and if anyone wants to take leadership back, they have to face her in combat and win. Also for this scene, I planned on having her show off and intimadate the camp by showing off what she can do.

Jon, your posts are good, and I don't think they're too long, but maybe a little too many? I mean, you just made it nighttime, but a lot of people haven't even made it to the camp yet. Maybe you should let everyone make their first post before you make it a new day?

Okay, I really only post once a day, and the only reason I made it night was because it was night in the person's before me and I thought we had to make each post the same time of day as the last ones. I will try to not make it so it skips from times of day so fast in my posts now, thanks for the clarification.

So we have a problem. It's already night time and people want to introduce their characters some more. But have no fear! I have a brilliant idea! What if the campers have this thing that they do on the first day of camp, for the newbies. They sneak out at night, past bedtime and have a party. It's traditional. Be it some dare that the newbies have to do, or just a picnic and swim at the lake, or something of the sort. It'd be fun! And of course they have to watch out for the harpies and Argus
Anybody like the idea? Like/comment if you do so I can write the post before I have to leave

I've noticed this storybook for a while now, but never really looked into it until now. I'm really tempted to snag the first Aphrodite person (which I'm surprised no one has taken yet; a demigod from her would be so fun to play!), but I'm still debating in my head whether or not I should join. I have been in a ton of roleplays in the past, but none of which are in YWS, so I'll try to blend in, haha.

I don't want to speak for Noelle, but I don't think she'll mind if you join. But you'd need to read through all of the posts and the profile's so you know who everyone is and what's going on.

P.S. Sorry my last posts are so long :/ Honestly, they're not that bad, they just look long because there's a lot of dialog, therefor a lot of spaces for paragraphs
