hello I'm new to this site and I'm trying to post a story but it wont let me put in breaks and bunches everything up. I was hoping someone could tell me how to fix that

I don't know how it looks in the attachment but when I try submitting this it bunched everything up and wont let me press enter. This is from my computer
The reason the linebreaks aren't showing up when you copy and paste your story into the submission box is because it's a .txt file. However, the submission system will automatically add those linebreaks in once you hit submit. To see what it'll look like, just hit preview.
