results in frenzied people.
Keeping their lives turning
but their happiness leaving.
I smile down on them,
tears leaving my empty eyes.
How did they come to be this,
this system of corporate corruption.
Fed on greed, anger and lies.
I lie up above and question,
Question the importance of life.

I here your voice from within the dark,
A plea to escape this insanity.
Twisting in this world of hatred,
Being told you're lazy and worthless.
Coming to me, crying your eyes out,
I don't know what to do to save you.

So this is for you, this poem of love.
I hope it helps get you out of the dark.
I see you smile and laugh, but I know
You insides are burning up.
Lay your head in my lap, and let me tell
You are story of a fantastic new world.

A world where you loved, so deep and true,
Where the stars shine down and protect you.
A place where you can live freely,
Away from all this messed up insanity.
A world so true and pure you will
Dine in a sea of happiness.

I can't pull you out of this hole of sadness
But I can help make it not so sad.
I'm here for you
So hold my hand.

The frolicking waves are happy to be there,
The singing birds are happy to be here,
The barking dog is happy to be there,
The sleeping cat is happy to be here.
So why aren't you happy to be here?
How can I make you be happy to be alive?
Please, tell me.
Because I'm happy you're here.

I shut my eyes to block the pain out,
But it keeps seeping into my body.
I hold my ears to keep the jeering out,
But the noises keep piercing my head.
The jolts, the shoves, the jeers
Are hidden by my tears.
Spinning, spinning, spinning.

The suffocating, the pulling,
The drowning.
Struggling for air, for light.
The claws keep my down,
They pierce my heart and mind.
Purple bruises erupt on my skull.

The darkness fills me with dread,
Dread for what the light brings.
My eyes stay shut, my ears stay sealed.
I can't face the true reality of the world.
Mindless brutality stops my heart beating.

He controls me,

I do what he says, I entertain.
