Kill me now. I swallow, staying silent, feeling Brady twine hands with me and Valerie. I send him a confused look, pulling away, and look at Ethan, "S'okay. He's just playing around."

Brady glances at me before looking at Ethan, "No I wasn't."

I nod, giving him the death stare, "Yes, you were."

He tightens his jaw, causing me to slap him lightly, sending him a mind message. Calm down. This isn't a big deal.

He nods, barely noticeable to Ethan, and I sigh, staying composed.

I see a government official point to me across the room, talking to another, and I swallow before exusing myself and trying to run out, only to be stopped by a security guard. I swear, him grabbing my wrist firmly before trying to drag me to the other government officials. "You violated dress code."

"How, is that possible?" I ask, yanking out of his grasp, "I was working out. Do you want me to be fat? No? Because then, my beautiful face would be destroyed and I wouldn't have the reputation I have now. You can shut your mouth now."

He raises an eyebrow, "Go to the general."

Oh no.

"Why?"

"You sassed me." he shoos me off.

"Dont take it personally, I sass everyone," I Respond.

"Go," He says a second time.

I groan and run a hand through my hair, shaking my head as I make my way to the generals office. I'm screwed. I stop by Ethan and whisper to him what happened, glancing at the officer in the process.

As soon as we walk into the canteen, Jo walks up to us, only dressed in a sports bra and sweats. Always drawing attention to herself an purpose. I scowl slightly. She flashes a smile at me which I know is fake and then chirps
"What's up guys?" whilst we all eye her warily. She's only here to cause trouble as always and as she invites us to Pizza, calling me Wallflower, I glare at her. I might not talk much, but I still have feelings. I hate that she puts me down like that in front of Ethan. She kisses Ethan quickly before leaving, waving as she goes. Good riddance, I think with a scowl.

"Really, what is with that girl?", I ask in my usual quiet voice. Ethan smiles slightly.

"Honestly, I think you guys can get along better than you think Sam." he replies.

But I don't want to, I think.

"He's right. Jo isn't that bad but I do think she's got an attitude. Being the leader of the Revolters and all." Jake rolls his eyes and puts an arm around me. "Hey. If you need any help, I'm here, okay?"

I smile and go back to eating. It was as bad as usual and I grimaced slightly. Next to me Jake asks Ethan what he wanted Jo for. Ethan winks and replies, "Ah, nothing much. Just a perverted way of telling her I love her." My eyebrows shoot up as the others wolf-whistle.

"You're kidding, right?" He wouldn't dare to right here...

"Yeah, obviously. I can't do anything in this damn place." He shakes his head, but I'm relieved. I don't want him to get into trouble because of her.

As we're eating, a group of officials march in, eyeing everyone. They go over to Jo's group and I go back to eating, but Ethan starts to get up. Jake pulls him back down. He tries to reason with him, but Ethan just shrugs him off and goes over to Jo. Stupid guy. I spear a piece of whatever we're eating and notice that the tips of my fingers have disappeared. I sigh and shake my hand slightly. I look back over at Ethan and notice that he's fighting with someone. As I watch, an official starts going over to the three of them and Jo bolts. She's caught by the security guard and is dragged over to the officials. I shake my head and stand up. Jake looks at me and I say

"I'm not hungry, I'm going to the library." I dump my food and hurry out of the door, the security guard only giving me a passing glance. Sometimes being forgettable is a good thing. I find a small nook and huddle into it. As usual, I feel better when I'm not in a place full of people, but Jo kissing Ethan is still in my mind. I scowl, tuck an unruly strand of hair behind my ears and take a deep breath.

Don't let her get to you, I repeat over and over in my head. Just as I'm trying to get her smirking head out of my mind, Jo pushes through the canteen doors and strides down the corridor towards me. Not wanting to be teased, I go invisible, literally melting into the shadowed nook. She's going towards the General's office. I smirk slightly and follow her, loving the fact that my Docs hardly make any noise on the cheap lino floors. She's shaking her head and muttering under her breath as she walks. I creep closer and listen, but all she's doing is badmouthing the guy who sent her to the General. For once I agree with her. I wouldn't want to see the General any more than I had to. As I creep behind her, I hear a buzzing noise and see a fly close to Jo. I squint at it. Not a normal fly. I smile slightly, then jump as I hear Ethan's voice behind us.

"Hey, Jo! Wait up!" I whirl around and see him hurrying down the corridor. Damn

Brady:

"S'okay. He's just playing around," Jo replied. I kept my grip on their hands. I shot a look at Jo, then glared at Ethan.

"No I wasn't." Jo looked into my eyes with a look of pure hatred, and responed.

"Yes, you were." I clenched my teeth, and Jo did not like that. She slapped me, which I deserved, yet didn't expect, and sent me a message only I could hear. Calm down. This isn't a big deal. I knew I was defeated, so I just nodded, and she sighed. The group of government officials marched over to us. Great, I thought to myself. I knew we were the group of troublemakers, but did they always have to check up on us? Jo tried to run, but was seized my a security guard. I sighed and looked at Ethan. She chose him, he can be the one to do something. I snickered as he did nothing but watch as she got sent down to see the general.

I watched as Jo walked away, the obvious anger on her face. I looked at Ethan and laughed. "What's so funny?" he said.

"Oh nothing. I just think it's funny how she chose you and you didn't even stand up for her." Ethan scowled at me, and he walked away, and I kept laughing. Why the hell she chose him I don't know. There was nothing special about him. Then an idea popped into my mind. I started towards where Jo had gone, but I was stopped by the security guard.

"Unless you get sent down or have an appointment, you're not allowed to see the general."

"Ah yes, my mistake," I said grinning. I transformed into a fly and whizzed right past him, ignoring his shouts. I caught up with Jo, but didn't say anything. I stayed by her, but not close enough so that she would notice me. Eventually, we reached the chambers of the General. She pushed open the door, and I flew in after her, perching myself on top of the light. I half listened as the General yelled at her about following dress code, and how the security guards were for her safety, blah blah blah. After what seemed like forever, he dismissed her. Disgusted, she got up and left the room. After I heard the door click shut, I flew down into the chair and returned to being human.

"Jesus boy! You know you can't use your powers in here! Give me one reason why I shouldn't call security," the General said with a glare.

"Because." I paused. "I'm here to report an illegal relationship." I grinned, and put my feet on his desk.
Spoiler
Now, he is obviously reporting Jo and Ethan, and after this, Choco, I was going to have him go to Ethan and "apologize," when the guards came in. (He's not really there to apologize, just watch him get taken.)

Okay? Awesome drama! ;D

Ethan

I couldn't stand the fact that Brady was laughing at me. I mean, yeah, being the Co-leader of the Revolters can have some attitude but not that it makes me want to punch him right in the face. Like he was perfect for Jo. I'm pretty sure Jo wouldn't want to be followed by a guy like a dog, everywhere she goes and plus, she needed her own privacy. But guys like Brady would never understand that.

I shake my head and run off to go see Jo. I see her push through the canteen doors, and that she's storming off to the General. I see Brady chase after her too which made me feel more angry. Damn that guy, really.

"Hey, Jo! Wait up!" I called after her, but she was a little too far to hear. Brady was much more nearer.

All of a sudden, I feel someone in the hall. I knew this person. He or she was very familiar. I concentrated more and visions became clearer-Samantha. She was invisible. No wonder I couldn't sense her much at first.

"Sam, what're you doing?" I chuckle.

She turns visible and I turn to face her. She's a little down which makes me worried because she's my best friend. I can't believe that my best friend and my girl friend are rivals.

"Nothing. I just came across here, by mistake." Sam says, avoiding me.

"No, that's not it. You were glad to see Jo in the General's office, weren't you?" I eye her.

"Well, yeah, that too. But also, I feel a little sympathetic towards her because no one would want to go to the General."

I sigh. Samantha can be confusing but at least she speaks the truth. I smile. "Hey, take it easy. Jo's not an ordinary girl. She gets it her own way so, don't feel bad. Its nice to know you do care about her." I look back, and walk towards the canteen. "Come on, let's go back."

We both walk to the canteen together. Someone was missing. There was Jake, Samantha, Me and... Sam! Where was he? Probably, lucky enough to escape the tense atmosphere. Jake glares at me and waits for an explanation.

"What was that all about?" Jake asks.

"Nothing, dude. Relax." I reply.

"I think Brady's up to something. His face was full of dirty smirks when he left to catch up with Jo."

Of course, I knew that right from the beginning that he was up to no good. He wanted to spoil my reputation that I have now. Me and Brady were never friends so, we were always looking for ways to ruin each other's reputation. A group of guards walk in the canteen. Now, what was going on? Guards coming in are weird. Guards rarely come in unless its serious. I sense that I'm the one in trouble. There's Brady right behind them, grinning. It seemed that he couldn't wait to see the action.

"Hey, you." a guard calls out.

"The name's Ethan." I shoot. I hate it when they treat like slime.

"Look how he talks after he's messed up. Are you really ready to meet up with death, already?" the guards all laugh. "Illegal relationship right in front of the government eyes. What guts."

My insides freeze. Illegal relationship? Who the hell spit that out? Then, it dawns at me. Of course- Brady. The guards get hold of me, and I give Brady a disgusted look. Cheapskate. Brady tells me in a small whisper.

"I apologize for my behaviour done, but I guess fate's not your side, is it, now?"

I see Jo captured too and I couldn't bare to look at her. I'll make sure. Whatever it takes, I'll put Brady in deep trouble like he just did to us. He did this to me, but he doesn't realize that he's done the same to Jo. To see her hurt.

"You can't do that! You don't have any evidence!" Jake calls off behind me.

Me and Jo walk to the General's office in silence, just behind us are the guards. I look at her, and she's almost afraid to not even look at me for a second. I look away and see that we're standing in front of the General's office.

Who told?
I look at to ground the whole entire way when we're walking, freezing when we get there and looking up when we get there. They push us in, locking the door, and I sigh before shaking my head and sitting in the chair to the right, Ethan sitting to the left. He looks at me, trying to reach for my hand, but I snap it away and look up at the general, trying to keep strong. No ones ever seen me cry.

"Ethan, I didn't expect this at all from you. You have a second warning, don't let it happen again. Also, clean up the cafeteria when your done here," He sighs. Looking back at me.

"And Jo..." He shakes his head, "You do realize what this means right?"

I nod but don't say anything,my eyes tearing up as I look back down.

He sighs again, pulling out a slip, filling it out, "Your death trial will be end at the end of the month."

I take the slip, reading it as it says that I broke a law not just by the community for the wall, and I've had multiple suspensions, so my death trial will be at the end of next month.

I stand and shake my head, wiping my eyes and leaving without his consent to. Ethan freezes, his face going pale, and follows me to our room. We were roommates ever since we started dating.

When I get there, I storm inside and cry my heart our, Ethan wrapping his arms around me from behind, "I'm so freaking sorry," he whispers kissing my neck to calm me. I do calm,he always gets me to calm, and I bury my face in his jacket, asking him if he'll go get me water. He nods and kisses me before leaving, Brady walking in around a minute later. I sit in my bed and wipe my eyes, looking up at him, "What?"

The General seemed nice but I wasn't totally convinced. Plus, Jo was crying. I knew she wouldn't want to die so soon, not now anyway. Now, I'm walking down the hall with people staring at me like I deserved it or something. Lousy teenagers. If only they were in love, they would understand. I grab a glass of water and go back to her room.

Just as when I go to her room, I hear a familiar voice talking to her. Why was that Brady was there, everywhere I went? Couldn't he leave me and Jo alone for once? I see him, grabbing Jo's hand while Jo's kicking him. I clear my throat as I'm standing there next to the door, glaring at Brady.

"Leave." I tell him, in a more serious tone. "Or you'll pay for what you just did."

Brady looks at Jo, like he was giving Jo a warning. Something's wrong here. He was badmouthing about me, wasn't he? To say he would even mess with Jo when I'm just a few metres away. Makes me feel sick.

I see Brady whisper something to Jo's ear and he walks off, giving me a slight push by my shoulder. Jo was still sobbing a little. I knew the General's words were going over her mind. A guy like me didn't like his girl crying. It makes them feel they've done a bad job guarding his girl. I hand over the water to Jo and sit beside her. I wanted to ask her what Brady said but she was already a lot more disturbed.

"Hey, calm down..." I say, putting an arm around her shoulder, letting her rest on my chest. "Listen, its going to fine. If its to live, we'll live. If its to die, we'll die. At least, we'll be together, right?"

Jo nods, wiping her tears out. I kiss her on the forehead and hug her, as tight as I could. Jo wasn't as strong now so she needed someone who was. So, if I wasn't, she'd be more scared. Frankly, I'm afraid but I wouldn't let it hit too much. If its death that deserves our relationship, then they're wrong.

"But I don't want to leave. I want to find a way out. I don't want to be here." Jo says, in a small voice.

"None of us do." I spoke, my voice slightly shaking. "We'll figure a way out. Whatever it takes, okay?"

"I'm so tired..." Jo says, cuddling more. Her heavy eyes close and I stroke her hair. I couldn't imagine death.

"Jo, if I asked you something, would you hesitate?" I asked, which made her look at me. "Why did Brady come here? What did he do?"

I had escaped the drama from the canteen when everyone sorta just broke off and went their own ways. I walked down the long hallway and climbed into the rafters like I always do. Jo and Brady came stomping down the hall and not long after them Samantha had turned invisible to watch this fight too. I'm glad I'm not considered a Bitch by everyone on campus, but sometimes I just wish I could actually fit in somehow. The fight had gotten heated so I decided to figure out what was going on.

I'm going to report Jo to the General. Brady screamed in my mind once I focused enough. I smiled knowing he would do it. I wouldn't do it, but he would. Brady and Jo left and Ethan came down the hall next and started to talk to the invisible Samantha. I sighed and laid back in the rafters. Once the hallway was empty, I was getting ready to get down but then of course Ethan and Jo start being the lovebirds that they are so I'm forced to watch this. I think of Valerie, how we would be perfect for each other. Then I remember about the dating rules.

Oh. I get it. Jo and Ethan go busted for dating. I smirked and finally jumped down from the ceiling rafters. I skipped though the halls to a lounge and leaned back in the soft couch. I had started to fall asleep when I remembered, we haven't even had dinner yet. I groaned and got up to walk back to the canteen. I sat at our table waiting for the others to come so they could complain and fight about all their problems. I leaned back in my chair and stared at the ceiling.

I. Need. To. Get. Out. Of. Here. Thoughts like this ran though my head as the door burst open again and people started to flood into the canteen not really noticing me. I was known as a wallflower so I was used to his behavior. I did still sometimes wish someone would maybe talk to me.

Samantha:

I was slightly annoyed that Ethan caught me before I saw Jo in the General’s office, but let him lead me back to the canteen, since if the fly was the person I thought it was, then a lot worse was to come. I was right. Guards come and take Ethan and Jo away. I want to follow them, but seeing what’s just happened, following Brady seems like a better idea. I go invisible and wait for him to do something. A sneaky guy like him is always up to something. He leaves the canteen and waits for the two of them to come back close to their room. They come back and both of them seem completely frozen. Not a good time to go into the room then. After a few minutes, Ethan comes out of the room and Brady slips in. Now we’re talking. I creep up to the door and listen, but can’t make out anything that’s said. Ethan comes back and ejects Brady from the room. I can probably imagine why.

I creep behind him as he walks down the corridor, not entirely sure on how to approach him. I want to know what’s happened to Ethan, and since I’m evidently not going to get it from either of the involved, Brady’s my next best bet. He stops at a corner and I take my chance.

“Psst, Brady!” I whisper, almost not talking at all, but he hears me. He turns and I turn the top half of my body visible again.

“Sam. What do you want?” he replies. “And you do know that that’s disconcerting, don’t you?”

“I don’t care about that! What happened to Ethan?” I demand. I don’t really care that much about Jo, just Ethan. Brady smirks.

“Him? He’s going to lose his girlfriend at the end of the month.” I frowned and became fully visible. Jo was going to be executed?

“Why would you do that, fly-boy? You love Jo, don’t you?”

“And you love Ethan. You’d do anything to have him, wouldn’t you. Well I’m the same. This is my way of getting Jo. We have a similar goal.” My eyes widened.

“What do you mean?” I could tell that I was flickering.

“Let’s work together. That way, we both get what we want. You going invisible is helpful too.”

I glanced down the corridor. No one was there to watch me betray the guy I loved. “Fine.” I hissed, before going invisible again and leaving towards the canteen.

I shake my head, "He was just saying that you told, and that he was going to talk to you about it. I mean, I don't believe him, but I'm still kind of shaky," I whisper, clearing my throat and standing, wiping my eyes and brushing my hair, "It's time for Pizza. Lets go."

He hesitates before standing, twining my hand with his, we walk out and to the Pizza Parlor. My eyes wonder around, everyone looking up and staring at me again. I sigh, annoyed, and one of the guys stands and walks to me, "Jo? I heard what happened."

I nod but don't say anything, "We're gonna miss you, whatever happens. Just know that if you need someone to talk to, we're here," his friends nod along with him and I sigh, forcing a smile, "Thank you."

Ethan squeezes my hand and I grab us a full two Pizza's before heading outside into the alley where I told them to meet us, Ethan pulling me on his lap when we sit down, him wrapping his arms around me from behind and kissing my cheek, "We'll be fine. We'll figure something out."

I nod, sighing, and hand him a plate as we wait for everyone else.

Brady:

I watched as Ethan got grabbed by the guards and was sent to the general's office. I smirked as he never tried to fight back, or even protect Jo. What an idiot. I thought to myself. I headed down to Jo's room, and waited for her to get back. I waited for a few minutes, then the door busted open, and Jo came in crying. It was strange. I had never seen her cry before, and I'd known her for years. I stood up, and embraced her. I could feel her body throb as she cried, and I just held her.

"It's alright Jo, we'll be fine. I'm not going to let them hurt you. We're going to get out of here, you just have to trust me. We've been planning this for years, now it's time to go."

She was still crying, but she responded. "Who would do this? Why would someone do that?" I stepped back, and grabbed her hands.

"I don't know Jo. I hate to say it, but who knows. Maybe it was Ethan." her eyes widened. "He never stands up for you, or himself for that matter, and maybe he was just tired of it. How many times has he gotten in trouble? He's just a normal guy, he can't handle it. So he'd be fine cleaning the kitchen if it meant he wouldn't get in trouble anymore." she looked at me in disbelief, but it looked like there might have been a spark that she believed it, and that was all I needed. "We've been friends for years Jo, I've known you forever. You're not going to die. We'll think of some way to get out. Together." At that moment, the door busts open, and Ethan walks in the room. Great.

"Leave." Ethan says, trying to be intimidating. "Or you'll pay for what you just did." Yeah, hi to you too, I think to myself. I look at Jo, and release her hands. Walking past her, I whisper in your ear.

"I'd just watch out if I were you." I keep walking, and intentionally bump into Ethan. He glares at me, and I just keep walking out the door. I walk down the corridor, heading to my room, when a familiar voice calls out my name.

“Psst, Brady!” I turn around slowly, but I don't see anything. All of a sudden, half of Sam reappears out of nowhere. How long had she been following me?

“Sam. What do you want?” I say. “And you do know that that’s disconcerting, don’t you?”

“I don’t care about that! What happened to Ethan?” Ah yes. I almost forgot. Sam had a mad crush on Ethan. I smile and look at her.

“Him? He’s going to lose his girlfriend at the end of the month.” Sam frowns, and I watch as she becomes fully visible again.

“Why would you do that, fly-boy? You love Jo, don’t you?” I smile, and look at her.

“And you love Ethan. You’d do anything to have him, wouldn’t you. Well I’m the same. This is my way of getting Jo. We have a similar goal.” Her eyes widened, I could tell she had some understanding of what was happening.

“What do you mean?” She replied.

“Let’s work together. That way, we both get what we want. You going invisible is helpful too.” I smiled, knowing I had just made another ally.

"Fine." she said. She turned invisible, and was gone.

Valerie Luna.

Valerie was curious, indeed. Jo Cortez, the almighty leader of the Revolters, was dating Ethan Parker, of all people? Was she blind to how Brady felt about her? Of course, it was obvious how Samantha felt about Ethan, you could just tell that the girls despised each other, not to mention Brady and Ethan going at it yet again.. Things didn't look so good, with the leaders of the Revolters falling into a triangle- wait, no, what was it with four people, a square? Jo likes Ethan, Ethan likes Jo but Sam likes Ethan and Brady wants Jo. Confusing.

Valerie sighed in annoyance as Jo got sent up to see the general for her dress code violation. Always the rebel, though she claimed to be innocent. Valerie watched quietly as Ethan and Brady argued, then Brady tried to get in to see the general. He was denied access so he turned into a fly and zipped in anyways. What in the world was he up to?

Her question was answered as the fly zipped back out and Ethan and Jo were quickly summoned. Someone, it seemed, had snitched. Valerie glared at Brady, who merely winked at her and took his leave. Why, oh why, did he have to do that? Now Jo was going to be a mess, and possibly bitchy and/or unstable, since they would have to break up. Not to mention that she would be caught in the middle of all this drama.

It seemed Val would have to play peacemaker, like usual. Not that she minded, but.. she couldn't help but feel a tad bit jealous of all the attention Jo always got. She was beautiful and headstrong; inspirational, a leader. Val was quiet, and intelligent, but she was often lost in the shadow of others. It was whatever, Valerie shook her head wildly and rubbed her tired chocolate brown eyes, then opened them to see Jo rush out of the general's office and into the hall, headed for her bedroom.

Standing up, Valerie stretched and also took her leave, accidentally bumping into a regular inmate, Sam. "'Scuse me." She murmured polietly, then shuffled past him and into the hall. She took a little detour, stopping by her room to grab up a Crunch bar she had hidden from the narcs. It took her two hours of concentration but she had sat by the window and closed her eyes, using her gift to levitate a dollar bill down the block to the mini-mart and placed it on the counter, then "bought" the chocolate and brought it back to her window. It took a lot of concentration and stealth, but she managed to hide it from the guards and slid it into her bra. Jo needed it more than her.

She made her way to Jo's room only to catch the last of Samantha's and Brady's conversation. They were planning on breaking Jo and Ethan up, for good, so they could have the person of their desires. She glared at her good friend, unapprovingly, and folded both arms across her chest. "You. How dare you. You have no right to do this, Brady. This is Jo's love life, and if she wants to be with Ethan, then so be it. You have no say in it." She grumbled, fixing him with a disapproving glare, hoping he would heed the intelligence and wise reasoning behind her words, as he always did, while her eyes fixed upon his handsome face, feeling something vile twist in her stomach and making her bite her tongue in anger.

Brady:

I watched as Sam disappeared, only to be replaced by a furious Valerie. Oh shit, I thought. Had she heard? Well, she answered that for herself. She crossed her arms and glared at me.

"You. How dare you. You have no right to do this, Brady. This is Jo's love life, and if she wants to be with Ethan, then so be it. You have no say in it." I gave her a cross look.

"So you heard huh?" I looked at her, and she started fidgeting a bit, but she kept her expression.

"Yes, I did! And you have no right in this!" She said.

"Well, you should keep your mouth shut. I would hate to see something happen to you." I made no facial expression, but I watched as my close friend changed expressions faster than I could change forms. The look on her face turned to pure hatred.

"You are... ugh!" She turned to walk away, but I grabbed her hands, which stopped her.

"Look, Val. I'm sorry. You know how I feel about people telling me what to do." She sighed and turned around, and I looked at her.

"Fine. Never again." she said. I let go of her hands.

"Now, let's go get some pizza."

* * *

I walked to the meeting place with Valerie. When we arrived, we were the last ones there. Great. I spotted Jo, and immediately went over to her, which made Ethan uneasy. I swear, that guy was going to kill me in my sleep or somethin', I had to watch out for him. I gave Jo a hug, and whispered in her ear. "Did you talk to Ethan?"

She got serious, and responded. "Or course I did. He's my boyfriend." Not for long, I thought to myself. I really hoped that she didn't see that. Her expression didn't change, so I figured I was good.

"Well, I'd watch out for him, just saying." I said, just loud enough so Ethan could hear us, but nobody else. I watched as Ethan clenched his fists.

"Look Brady, I don't see why he would do that. He loves me, and I love him." Those words stung a bit, but I kept my composure.

"At least that's what you think. Who knows? He could be recording us now." and that was it. The next moment, my body crashed into the ground with a resounding thud, and there was Ethan on top of me, and his fist slammed into my eye.

And there we goooo ~ Thanks. ;D By the way, Ment. Its "Brady", not "Cam". Cam is your Field Trip SB character. Lol xD

Ethan
Jo looked a little uncomfortable and she wasn't talking to me like she usually does. I was worried, so I wrapped my hand over hers and gave it a little squeeze. She looked at me, and gave me a small smile. I moved my chair a little more closer to her.

"Hey, you sure you okay? You don't seem to be alright." I ask.

"Yeah, its nothing. Really." she replies, not looking at me.

"Is it something that Brady said?" I say, figuring it out. This started ever since he talked to her.

"N-No. Of course not!" Jo says, letting go off my hands. This was way weirder than usual. "I just can't believe that you would do such a thing... But I'm still not sure if its you."

"What thing? What do you mean?"

This time, her eyes face mine and I'm hooked. It doesn't even take a second for her eyes to be admired. "You revealed the relationship, didn't you? That's what Brady told me."

"And you're going to believe him?" I ask, gently. Damn, Brady! What is up with him?!

"Well.... No. Of course, not. Its just... You wouldn't, right?"

"Not in a million years. I wouldn't. Ever." I grab her into a hug, and pat her back a little. "Just trust me, okay? Don't believe what Brady says. He's just coming in between trying to spoil things."

She nods and tear apart, and go back to eat pizza. Just then, Brady comes in, smirking and by his face I knew he was going to poison Jo's mind. He takes a seat next to her. They seem to be whispering something which I can't really make out. Finally, he says something that really pisses me off. Why? Why do guys like him take advantage of girls like Jo just because of her beauty?

"Well, I'd watch out for him, just saying." he says, purposely saying it to annoy me. I notice myself clenching my fists, ready to attack him anytime. Don't let him get you Ethan.

"Look Brady, I don't see why he would do that. He loves me, and I love him." I saw Brady's face screw up but he still didn't seem to give up yet.

"At least that's what you think. Who knows? He could be recording us now."

Okay, that's enough. The next thing I knew, I blew in a full force swing at him, making him fall to the ground with a bang. I caught up to his shirt and punched him again. Hard enough.

"Stop it, you guys! What is wrong with you?!" I can hear Jo's voice in the background, but I'm not listening.

I can see Brady's got a deep cut on his lips which makes him give me a nasty glare and exactly after a moment, he swings at me right into my chest. I don't loose my balance.

"Who do think you are? You can't even protect your own girlfriend!" he grins.

"You bastard!" I say, and ran at him at full speed before Jo came in between us.

"Stop Ethan! Just stop it!" she says, her face red and full of tears. "What's just going on here? I can't understand you too at all!"

"He's the one who started it!" Brady says, taking a step to hit me again but Jo stops him.

"If you hit him or each other once more, then none of you will ever see me again." Jo said, far more serious than anyone taught. "This was supposed to a good dinner and not turn into a meaningless fight! Do you not understand?!"

The air was silent and was getting tensed. The three of us stared at each other. Val, Samantha, Sam and Jake were looking at us wide-eyed. I shook my head. I had lost my temper. To a pathetic guy who would never learn.

"Alright." I say, walking towards Jo but she moves away and looks at me.

"No. Until you both learn to cooperate, don't touch me or talk to me. I'm just fed up of coming between you two. I may not the reason why you hold grudges against each other but its not working. I thought you guys were mature enough to understand that."

As I leave, I hear Valerie start talking to Brady. Crap. She heard us speak. I don’t know her well enough to tell whether she will tattle on us to Ethan and Jo. I hope not. Jo already hates me, so it’s fine, but I don’t want Ethan to hate me. I shake myself and turn visible again in a corner, making sure that she security guards can’t see me. I’m not being sneaky anymore, so it doesn’t matter if I’m invisible or not. I look at my watch. Dinner time. I sigh and start towards the meeting place set by Jo. When I get there, I see that Ethan, Jo and the others are already there. I can see by the sombre expressions on their faces that they all know, but they’re still talking, trying to stay happy for Jo. I put on a small smile for Ethan, not for Jo.

I get my pizza and sat down in a corner, waiting for Brady to arrive. He seemed ready to kick up as much fuss as he needed to to get Jo. He enters the room with Valerie, and immediately goes over to Jo and hugged her, whispering in her ear. He tried to get as close to Jo as possible. It had taken me long enough to even talk to Ethan. Valerie hangs back and eyes me. Another person who probably doesn’t like me.
I lean slightly closer to Ethan and hear Brady say “He could be recording us now.” He ends up on the ground. Ethan grabs his shirt and punches him again. I wince as I see Brady’s lip spilt and my eyes widen at Ethan’s violence. Brady punches Ethan and scrambles to his feet. Jo is screaming at them to stop, but they aren’t. They’re fighting for her after all. Brady’s taunting Ethan.

"Who do think you are? You can't even protect your own girlfriend!" he grins. Ethan calls him a bastard and rushes him. Jo steps between them.

"Stop Ethan! Just stop it!" she says, her face red and full of tears. "What's just going on here? I can't understand you two at all!"

“He’s the one who started it!” replies Brady, like a kid trying to shift the blame. He steps around Jo to get to Ethan but Jo stops him with a slap on the arm.

"If you hit him or each other once more, then none of you will ever see me again." Jo said, far more serious than anyone taught. "This was supposed to a good dinner and not turn into a meaningless fight! Do you not understand?!"

The air stilled and became tense. Ethan looked around, whilst Brady just smirked, like always. Ethan shakes his head and somehow looks like a beaten dog.

“Alright.” He goes towards Jo and tries to take her hand but she shakes him off.

"No. Until you both learn to cooperate, don't touch me or talk to me. I'm just fed up of coming between you two. I may not the reason why you hold grudges against each other but its not working. I thought you guys were mature enough to understand that." She storms out of the Pizza. My heart skips a beat at her words. Ethan is left just standing there, looking in the direction that Jo left in. I look at Brady. He jerks his head towards Ethan.

I scramble to my feet and over to him, taking his arm and leading him to a chair. He seems shell-shocked. I rub his arm slightly.

“Hey, it’s going to be fine. She’s just angry for now, but maybe you’d be better with some time apart. Give each other some space to breathe. So many things have happened today, she’s probably just a bit overwhelmed.” It’s the most that I've said in one go for a long time, but I want to comfort him, especially if it was over Jo.

He turns towards me and smiles weakly. “You’re probably right.”

I smile back. The next few days were my chance.

Jo

I storm off, crying my eyes out, and make my way to the fence on the other side of campus, wanting to get out badly.

I slide down it and bring my knees to my face, sniffling and running a hand through my hair. I hear footsteps but don't look up, someone sitting beside me, "I'm sorry."

Brady. Of course, "Just leave me alone," I respond, "I can't believe you just did that."

I look up and at him as he flinches as how much I've cried in just a few minutes, "You know I love him, right? Why the hell would you try to break that? I know it was you who told. No one else knew and no one else would..." I think. Samantha.

I clench my teeth, "I...an going to kill that kid. I swear."

He shakes his head and wraps an arm around me, "Calm down. Come," He twines his hand with me and leads me to his dorm, "Do you wanna just relax? Do you forgive me? I didn't tell."

I nod but keep my distance, "Yeah. I...I just can't believe Ethan would get mad like it wasn't like him."

He nods as well and we get to his dorm. He leads me in and locks the door, turning on the TV and laying down on his bed while pulling me beside him. I swallow but keep my space, closing my eyes for just a second.

He keeps his hand twined with mine and I pull back. I send a mind message to Ethan, eyes still closed, I love you. Always know that.
