I was thinking they would play the role of capturing the club members, but since they are investigators, naturally some of them would want to use the people they capture to their advantage. This could start a three way conflict between Silas's church, the Investigators, and the Silver Bullet Club.
Review unto others as you would have others review unto you.
I just had an idea for my character that I think might go along with the plot of the story: Maybe my character could be part demon (Father) and part witch (mother). And that Em's mother sealed away the demonic side of her, afraid that she'd end up like her father. Em has absolutely no idea. Anyway, I was thinking that that part of her could end up getting released when Silas or someone tries to control/kill her 'cause he/she think's that Em's an actual demon.
Well, my guy is a demon killer, and capable of seeing demons, so that could get kind of messy.... (course, that might make for an awesome battle scene )
No more countin' dollars... we'll be countin' stars.
Don't do it with Andrea around she'll undoubtedly break up the fight and keep club members from fighting one another.
An angel, a knight, a man who will bring light to where there is only darkness, I am the Morning Star, the Bringer of Light, hail to me as I am King Lucifer!
(Maybe I should add this to the character profile, heh)
So the "runes of Abraham" appear on the being's soul... and I said "being" there, not demon specifically.
Since demons are ALL soul (and no physical) then their entire form would be destroyed by the runes. A person or something else wouldn't be completely destroyed... only their soul would be destroyed, their bodies left behind. (That would have been how he killed his parents and the "rabbi")
Now, he can only use this technique on stuff that has a supernatural/spiritual connection... so, stuff that is soul (demons, angels, etc.) or that has a soul (humans). (Which means, he wouldn't be able to kill the undead?)
As to how it would work on a half-demon... I have no clue. Maybe he kills their demon self or maybe just kills them completely. Maybe he kills the demon soul, but since it's tied to the human part of their soul they're left as an empty shell, incapable of thought/emotion.... *shrugs*
(FYI, I'm not going to go killing anyone off here, )
Eli can also use his power differently... it derives from the same source so it really just depends on the way he "harnesses it." (For example, he would be able to heal/"knit" someone's soul back together, only he wasn't trained how to do that kind of stuff)
I was also thinking that when he goes into the "rune-dimension" thing/mode, that whole battle would take place in the soul world--- not the physical world. Therefore, Eli and whoever he tied himself to would remain immotionless in the physical world/to the normal eye/anyone outside of the "rune dimension," (unless they happen to be spirit walking in the soul world, in which case they might accidentially stumble into his rune seal)
Spoiler
Note: I tried to create this guy to be an almost anti-thesis to Silas. (While Silas was fascinated and drawn into the religious/spiritual world, Eli was unwillingly dragged into it by force. Etc...) So if something doesn't make sense... Blame Shino! Just kidding. Really, if stuff seems too out-there/outrageous/confusing, let me know. I'm open to revising my stuff (This is an SB, afterall)
No more countin' dollars... we'll be countin' stars.
The first post is up. Ring the bells! Sound the alarms. Hope you enjoy it.
(I know that it isn't Feb. 6th yet, @Shino, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to get on the computer to submit it tomorrow. So I hope it isn't a problem.)
Good luck to everyone who reads it- it is pretty long.
The course skin of a thousand elephants sewn together to make one leather wallet.
Now before this SB kicks off, I have talked with Shino about a possibility in the SB, this being Disorder Evolution. Anyone in the SB can evolve there disorder into something more, but only though constant practice with said disorder, like Andrea for example, she has the Disorder of Mind Reading. The power is fairly easy to use, so because of this it takes much more practice to evolve the disorder, but because she's been using it since her disorder since her early baby years she's bound to be one of the first people to have her disorder evolve.
But because of being able evolve, you have two to three different paths for your characters disorder can take but the evolutions must make sense. Like Andrea, she can evolve her Mind Reading could evolve into Mind Control or Telekinesis, And ultimately it'll evolve into the final stage of Kinetic Absorption. So everyone who has a disorder, I suggest you quickly figure out what your going to do with your disorders, figure out what there going to evolve into, this is LoyalHeart, I hope you enjoy the SB.

Now, about the disorder evolution, as their gift grows stronger, their weaknesses are more pronounced. Just something to keep in mind.
Elo, Eli is a great foil to Silas. I think Silas might be primarily after Eli, since their gifts are similar. He may wish to indoctrinate Eli into the Church of Ophiuchus. That's up to you, if that's a route you want to take.
About Eli's ability to destroy souls in relation to the fact that Em's half demon. Since her demonic side is locked away, could Eli still gain access to it? And for that matter, could Silas? I think since it's locked away, it sort of serves to protect her from Silas's Voice of Ophiuchus and Eli's Runes of Abraham. Perhaps that was her mother's intent? Just some things to consider!
My next post for this storybook will be Silas contacting Rydia's character, Dakota, and Symon's character, Philemon. I will write down Sylas's initial contact, but leave Dakota and Philemon to discuss the opportunity. I'm thinking Silas might just pull off a show of power.
Review unto others as you would have others review unto you.
I plan on having Andrea chit chat with Silas first tho, just to see what would happen on there first meeting with out any hostile intent between them.
