Anyhoot, January 2013 was a very good month. The server problems kept the numbers down some, but site activity was still overall quite strong. We saw tremendous growth over December, and all indicators point to continued growth.

So, without further ado:

Conclusion

As you can tell from the pageviews and visits graph, the server problems caused quite a hit on January 18 and January 25. In between those two dates, YWS also crashed multiple times, leading to suppressed activity. If it weren't for the server problems, pageviews would be at least 20,000-40,000 higher.

Once the server problems were solved, we saw an immediate bounce in activity, even taking into account the Review Day. During the time of troubles, we only had more than 20,000 pageviews on one day. After the time of troubles, we only failed to reach 20,000 pageviews on one day. So, big difference.

Going forward, I think things look good. The mod squad is cooking up a week-long event for February that should be announced soon, and by the end of February, YWS: Apollo will be complete. In addition, there are numerous reviewing races and small competitions going on. It almost feels like a cruise ship with all the activities going on!

I'm just going to go ahead and pretend Atlanta's presence at #8 is totally because of me a) moving here and b)becoming super active again. :P

If the top countries went by population ratio, the uk would totally be top. Just saying.
