The Appalachian Pack (open)

Been awhile sense I was on, but after being else where and trying to do stuff like this it's not the same. Hopefully this will take off like the old SB's and will be as in depth and well written as the old ones.

In the spirit of the old SB's (I only say that cause I haven't really seen how they are now) setup your characters

There is a small pack of werewolves (ones that change into actual wolves, not the stand up ones) hiding out in the Appalachian Mountains because their pack was murdered back west when they were younger. Escaping to the Appalachians was their only way of survival. They have done well for a while, but their existence is slowly being threatened several different things. They own a large chunk of the mountains and are able to hide their shifting from the humans, but between high school drama and pack drama things can be tough. But to top it all off there is a sighting of another werewolf that they don't know.

P.S. you can be something other than a wolf, even human if you like. But not dragons. Shifters of animals that are common. Bears, wolves, etc.

Personality: He is firm when needed, but is sweet too. He doesn't trust anyone new very easily and just wants the pack to never have to go through that again.

History: Azzy was sort of a scandal in her first pack. Her mother, beta wolf in the pack, had an affair with a human man, months before she was going to marry the alpha male. However, that one night affair turned into a nine month pregnancy for Azzy's mother. Eventually, she had to tell the rest of the pack, but she must have waited too long. Everyone knew that something was up. When the alpha found out he was furious. And by that time, Azzy had already been born. The pack killed her mother in outrage, and shunned Azzy. She wandered into the Appalachian Pack about three years ago. *Note: Since Azzy is half human and half shifter, sometimes it's hard for her to shift between human and wolf*

Personality: Despite all that's happened to her, Azzy is still accepting of others. She took that out of her horrible experiences with the old pack. Despite her being half human, Azzy still has acute instincts that she developed while wandering alone. However, she is extremely self conscious when shifting between wolf and human. She has always been terrified of not being able to shift full and her be stuck forever in a sort of wolf man form, so she is always careful to shift out of view of others.Finally, Azzy is extremely impulsive and often does things without thinking. This got her into quite a bit of trouble between packs but on that, she can never seem to learn her lesson.

His eyes tend to make people turn and stare, since he has the same eyecolor in his human form as in his owl form.

History: Eric was adopted as a baby, and has no memory of his biological parents. He has always been curious about them, and wondering if they could shapeshift too, but has never managed to find them. He still thinks he's the only shapeshifter around, and does not know about the wolfs, though he has noticed that some kids at school are acting weird.

Personality: He walks around with a scowl most of the time, but he is actually quite nice and has many friends. If anyone asks he'll gladly helps without hesitation. He can be a bit shy sometimes, and when he's being unsure of himself he tends to look angry or bored, even if he doesn't mean to. Eric acts older than he is, and tends to be a bit fatherly towards younger students.

He's observant and prefers to stay out of situations and watch rather than get involved. Erik is a quick learner and has a very good memory, and thanks to that he's one of the smartest students in their school. He doesn't really talk about it though, nor does he correct people even if he knows they're wrong.

History: She's lived in the same town her whole life. Normal parents, normal upbringing, normal everything. Until she turned for the first time. At first she was terrified, but she soon realized that she wasn't the only wolf around. She felt at home in the pack, and it has become somewhat of a second family to her.

Personality: Qali's part of the cheer-leading squad, has quite good grades and is popular at school. She is very outgoing, cheerful and friendly. She's truly happy, inside and out.. Or at least that's what she wants people to think.

In reality she has been unhappily in love with Haven for ages, but she knows that he wouldn't even know her name if she hadn't been a member of his pack. She spend every waking moment thinking of him, and despite being so social with everyone else she gets all choked up as soon as he is around.

Other: Not up for love, unless it's Haven.

History:He was in British Columbia until his pack was a attacked when he was 13. He and his mother went to find her old pack and she spent 2 years trying to find them but when she finally found them there was a killing. She tried to help but she was killed in it and Hayden was left all alone. So the dead leaders son took him with the one that survived but does not trust him so he does not let him in any big thing to do.
Personality: He would do any thing he could to help someone he loved or need the help. But he like to be alone with nature a lout of the time to help him think better.

This is obviously a work in progress, not finished yet, but I figured I'd give you my rough draft.

Alexa is a black with that's smaller than most, with bright silver eyes.

When she's human, she's a short extremely pale girl, except for her lips and hair. Her hair is so black, in some lights it looks purple or blue, and it's long, thick and curly. and her lips are a deep ruby red. Her cheeks are perpetually flushed, like she's always embarrassed. Just like when she's a wolf, her eyes are silver, probably her most striking feature.
History:
When Alexa was younger, she lived with her aunt and uncle, who took her in after her parents died. During the war, both of her caretakers died, leaving her barely seventeen and homeless. She hasn't really had anywhere to go since, and floats around.
Personality:
Though she's quiet, this girl has some spunk. She has enough gumption to pull her weight around in the Appalachia, and knows how to take care of herself. She trusts too easily though, and can be lured into a false sense of security with a promise of safety and home. She's a loner, and if she had it her way, all she would do would be write books and read poetry. She has her aunt's favorite poetry book that she carries everywhere and you can often find her reading when she should be doing other things. Even though she can be a little flighty and scatter brained, she has a good heart, and will help anyone in need.

Name: Blakely (Blake) Peirce

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Wolf: This is what Blake looks like. She has a pure white coat, her eyes a deep yellow, and is amazingly beautiful when in wolf form. She stands at around 4'3" in wolf form, normal height, and is very stunning.

Human: This or this. Blake has bleached blonde hair, really stunning blue eyes, and a tan skin tone in human form. She's known as the "pretty face" in the group.

History: Blake has an Older sister, who she lost a while back. She got turned into a werewolf after dating the pack leader,but they broke up soon after. Her mother died in a car accident and her father is sheriff at the local police department.

Personality: Blake is amazingly sweet. She's not like you'd think she is, and is sensitive and helpless. She's strong when she wants to be, and loves to be around people that can keep her safe. She likes to carve wood into art, and her hobbies include guitar playing, track, and gymnastics. Blake can have attutide sometimes, and is very defensive towards the people she's grown close to.
