New Writer, Would Love Input!

Hi Everyone! I'm new here and I'm not quite sure what this site is all about yet, but I'm excited by what is see. I'm a 17 year old (18 next month) female from southwest Missouri. I like to write, and have recently enrolled in a Creative Writing course (I'm a senior in high school). I will likely be posting quite a bit of my assignments here (likely including poetry, short stories, prose, etc.) and would love some input on those. I also plan on doing NaNoWriMo this year, after 3 years of constructive nagging from a dear friend. Anyway, I'd love to get to know you guys and improve my writing skills, so hit me up!

I think you'll fit in nicely here; the folks are friendly, the reviewing is good, and it's a great place to hone your talent! There are a lot of writers here who do NaNoWriMo, and I'm sure they would be more than willing to share some pointers and experience on it.

Basically, this site is about having fun, pursuing your dreams, helping others, and having fun (yes, fun is a rather large part of it, haha).
