Seaside Preforming Arts Academy

Barren

I carry her to my car and some how manage to open the door with her still in my arms. I gently sit her in my car and close the door for her. I walk around and get into the driver's side. I start my car and pull out. I grip her hand as I drive.

Jade

I smile and watch him, squeezing his hand as I look out the window.

Barren

I pull into a parking space and hurry to open the door for her. I take her hand again and walk up to the ticket window. "What do you want to see?" I ask, wrapping my arms around her.

Jade

I think, biting my lip, "Paranormal activity."

Barren

I smile and go pay for the tickets. I get a bottle of water and look at her. "Would you like anything?" I ask.

Jade

I think, "Water, please."

Barren

I smile and buy her a water. I hand it to her and take her free hand and lead her to the movie theater we are in.

Jade

I follow him, smiling wide.

Barren

I lead her in and look around. We get good seats in the middle because there are only a few people here. I smile and take a seat.

Jade

I sit next to him, resting my head on his forehead as the previews start.

Barren

I smile and look at her. I twine our hands and wrap an arm around her shoulder.

Jade

The movie starts and I bite my lip, moving closer.

Barren

Smiling, I move the arm rest up and wrap my arms around her.

Jade

It gets scary and I jump, swearing.

Barren

I laugh at her and hold her closer.
