Bethany

I find it hilarious that River is the Mama's boy, but he's stronger then any of us. Power of strength. So weird...

I look back at Elijah, "I'll tell River and he'll pound you," I tell him, "You know he will."

River looks up, wiping his mouth, "What?"

Austin

Elijah scoffs, "Riv won't touch me. I didn't do anything to you."

Bethany

I pout and plop down, pretending to cry. River scoffs and walks into his room, shutting his door and locking it.

Austin

Elijah chuckles, "Told you."

I shake my head and watch Bethany for a moment before pulling out my phone and focusing on it.

Bethany

I sigh and look at his friend, wiping my eyes, "Why are you so quiet?"

Austin

I look up, "'Cause being around all you hybrids makes me nervous."

Bethany

I smile, "I won't hurt you. Elijah's the one to worry about..."

Austin

I flash a smile, "I'm not worried about being hurt. I've been around Elijah for too long to worry about that. I catch all these details, though. Screws with my mind."

Bethany

"Hm," I study him, glancing at Elijah and having an idea...

Austin

Elijah studies her, "Whatever you're thinking, jut remember that I'm oldest and that you can't touch me."

Bethany

I smile and stand, leaning against the couch and looking at Austin, "Are you human?"

Austin

I study her, glancing at Elijah before answering, "For the most part... why?"

Bethany

"Do you think I'm sexy?" I ask, arms crossed as I study him.

Austin

"Enough, Beth," Elijah orders. "You're not feeding off of him."

I don't answer her question, the pain in my head returning and the world stopping for a moment once more.

Bethany

"Why not?" I ask, looking at Elijah, "I could always compel him to make him do whatever I say... Or answer the question."
