Niki

I playfully run out and back to the house, smiling inwardly.

Elijah

I growl before chasing after her, smiling inwardly as well.

Niki

I stop misstep, something happening in my stomach. I drop to the ground, whining.

Elijah

I drop beside her and nudge her snout, whining in worry. Mom and Dad come over, watching us.

Niki

His mom realizes what's going on and her eyes widen as I yelp, my bones cracking to make room.

Elijah

I shift back and take her in my arms, listening before glancing up at them, "W-what the hell is happening to her?"

Niki

"You got her pregnant," She mutters. My eyes widen and I yelp again, my bones not cracking anymore, but feeling little pups forming inside me.

Elijah

My face drains of color and I look back at Niki, holding her close, "W-what?"

Niki

It all finishes and I shift, swallowing and sweating.

Elijah

I hold her close as Dad collapses on the ground, unconscious.

Niki

I swallow, his mom dropping next to his dad and trying to wake him as I whisper, "Five...pups..."

Elijah

I swallow and Dad wakes just to hear that, fainting all over again.

Niki

I watch, Rayah trying to wake him again.

Elijah

I look back at Niki and kiss her temple, "F-five pups?"

Niki

I nod and look down.
