Niki

Sol shifts back to human and hides behind River, Emma having to pin Bethany down and practically yell at her to calm herself. She soon does and shifts, pinning Emma against the tree playfully before realize she has no chance for winning.

She gets punched in the stomach...hard, and chuckles when she lands, "d*mn you!"

Emma smiles and shrugs, "I'm the oldest one here. I think you would've had no chance anyways."

Elijah

I watch everything before Austin bolts to Bethany and takes her in his arms. Facing forward, I close my eyes a moment before shifting and trotting into the woods.

Niki

I stay where I am and watch him trot of before resting my forehead against my knees.

Elijah

I stop a mile or so in and shift, lying on my back and looking up.

Niki

I take a deep breath, my gashes hurting, and look up. My eyes widen when I see my pack coming towards us from the mountain, standing and running for Elijah.

Elijah

I hear someone running and sit up, catching the familiar scent of Niki. She reaches me with an expression of fear plastered on her face, and I rise to my feet, "What's wrong?"

Niki

I swallow, pacing, "My packs coming for us. We need to hide w-we need to... Oh god," I whisper, glancing up at the mountains.

Elijah

I walk to her and stop her from pacing, setting a hand on the side of her face, "Nothing's going to happen. Hybrids are stronger than werewolves, gods forbid we have to fight. My father's a pacifist, anyhow. He's good at talking people out of things. You'll be okay."

Niki

I shake my head, "Their bloodhounds. Werewolves sent from hell. I'm the only regular one in my pack because I refused to change. They'll destroy you."

Elijah

I study her, shaking my head at the fact she kept that from all of us, "What will they want? You?"

Niki

I nod and swallow, looking down as I hear their footsteps getting closer, "We-We need to hide."

Elijah

I hesitate before shifting and tugging on her sleeve to follow me as I bolt back for the house.

Niki

I follow him, swallowing.

Elijah

I order around my siblings and their mates before leading Niki inside to find Mom and Dad.

Niki

I follow him, Emma moving by my side and flashing a smile. I smile back, his parents on the couch. Wait...That's his mom? I raise my eyebrows and look at the floor, sighing. She looks up from her phone, "Um...what's up with the reunion?"
