Niki

Groaning, I glance down at him, "What?"

Elijah

I stare her in the eyes. You listened to me. Why?

Niki

"Because I just did," I respond, walking the opposite direction.

Elijah

I hesitate before following her, something about her...

Niki

I yawn, crossing my arms and shivering, too lazy to shift and just wanting to stay human for a little.

Elijah

I catch up and lean against her as she walks, unknowingly giving her some of my heat.

Niki

I glance down at him, "This is weird. Shift if your gonna cuddle on me," I tell him, wrapping my arms around my stomach and leaning against a tree before sliding down to the ground.

Elijah

I don't listen to her, sitting next to her in wolf form.

Niki

I groan and look at the sky, pulling my shirt down more, not daring to go home yet.

Elijah

I study her before sniffing her hair and growling. What pack to you belong to?

Niki

I glance at him and keep my arms crossed, "The one on the other side of the mountain."

Elijah

I lie down and huff. Do you have a mate yet?

Niki

I shake my head, "No."

Elijah

I allow my eyes to close. I'm guessing you don't know what it's supposed to feel like when you find one, then.

Niki

I sigh and stand, leaning against the tree again, "I don't."
